Kurt Zimmerman Most likely, stock transmission probably wasn’t engineered to handle that much power to all 4 wheels or in RWD mode, so most likely a change was made there to ensure it remains durable. Axles would also needed to be tweaked as opposed to their stock form, more power equals quicker movement and thereby presents more force on the axels which is negated simply by just changing them to a stronger set up (which they did), the Cadillac Escalade is quite high above the ground and it’s center of gravity is not the best for high performance, so anything that was needed keep it more sturdy was without a doubt added to it.

I'd rather keep the column shifter where it is. One of the nicest things about an Escalade that makes it unique from all the other cars of today.

SouthernMdliving well sorry to break it to you, but they don’t offer that kind of setup for 6.4s. I’ve always looked on their website to see if they had any of their HPE packages for the scatpacks or SRTs, but yeah..., they don’t seem to offer anything at all in regards to any vehicle with a 392 Hemi. I guess they aim more for certain performance vehicles that are guaranteed to have that “niche” of “customers” who are ready to spend a pretty penny on some major modifications.

Aaron Rodgers thanks for the update I don’t see why they wouldn’t have a package for one of the most popular engine choices in the mopar line up. Seriously in this video it looks like the whole engine is built and if you do that with the 392 it would be just as reliable and strong as any

Smooth_Ops I am thinking more like 20 thousand at a small shop I put headers and a Borla exhaust on mine and it cost me 5 thousand so if they offered a package it would probably be more like 40 thousand

SouthernMdliving yes you’re most definitely right, I have heard many times of 6.4’s blowing out hellcats on races. But I do have lots of friends who try to take the easy out and just put on a (2.9l) Whipple supercharger with some transmission tuning and then they simply call it a day after that and just hope for the best. Well I’ve warned them countless of times that they should be having those pistons and rods fully replaced with some heavy duty aftermarket parts, but I mean I guess they were aiming more for “quantity over quality” and tried to stay within their budget, and had to face a number of problems afterwards until they ended up going back to stock which was kinda stupid if they had just focused on the engine more. Me and my friends are moparheads and we’re all for Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler. I drive a 2018 Challenger Scatpack Shaker, and my goal is to try on put a centrifugal Supercharger (procharger). (I’m aiming for at least 700-800whp).
