A look back in time at the celebration of 750 years of city rights of Middelburg, on the peninsula of Walcheren, province of Zeeland, with its beautiful city hall. Marketday and costumes you won't see nowadays. The city hall was destroyed in the early days of WW2. Only the walls survived. It has been completely restored meanwhile.

Mooie sfeerbeelden uit 1967. Goede transfer ook er is een behoorlijk goede videokwaliteit. Is dit op 8mm film opgenomen? Ik ben op 22 maart j.l. in Middelburg geweest en heb vastgelegd hoe het er tegenwoordig uit ziet. Misschien is die video over 47 jaar wel net zo leuk om te kijken als het nu is om deze video te kijken, hahaha! Ga zo door zou ik zeggen.

Jaren 80 in goes...eidere donderdag rijdt Ik naar middelburg voor het maarkt.. soms wensen Ik dat Ik woonde nog in holland...Ik weet dat Ik veel fouten met de taal maakt....Ik hebben be taal gelered van gewoon luisteren en met dank aan een awarding meneer en mevrouw de hebben voor mij na een motor aanrijding goed gezorgen...

@gragrn Sorry for the confusion Michael, no, I'm an Aussie, but the sixties are the sixties no matter what country you were in, the clothes, the cars, the hairstyles, that magical overlooked period before the hippie era kicked in and led us into the seventies. Fond memories for me, maybe different for others. Cheers!
