My father once took a pigeon to the head at about 80mph, whilst riding a motorcycle. He says he woke up on the side of the road, his visor shattered, and a concerned motorist standing over him, calling for an ambulance. The pigeon had exploded on impact, and the motorist had thought my father had experienced some sort of catastrophic injury.

Adam with no filter is so satisfying. I'm glad to see him as an adult and appreciate him as such

The feeling of things going full circle here is mad, i think it’s fair to say that the myth busters influence is pretty clear in the slow mo guys content (and I meant that 100% as a good thing) so to have Adam working with them is just perfection. He also looks like the exact mix of knowledgeable, cautious when needed and totally mad that he always seemed on mythbusters, epic episode!

Watching Mythbusters growing up actually taught me English as a second language without even taking any classes. That show unlocked an entire universe for me, I owe them a lot

This is the safest I have ever seen Adam behave. I think he’s one of those guys who is happy to risk his own life for no reason at all… but he will never allow anyone else to be in danger. Big dad energy. Edit: guys. I am talking about his safety record on his personal RU-vid channel, Tested, not Myth Busters. He is pretty notorious for ignoring best practices there. Obviously, on a full production TV show they had safety requirements, insurance, and entire teams there to keep people safe and protect their assets. It’s legally required and financially smart. I’m talking about what he does on his own time. I have never seen him put others at risk ever, and he’s more than welcome to decide what level of risk he’s willing to take for himself. He’s always been a “do as I say, not as I do” guy. As I said in my original comment, he never allows anyone else to be in danger.
