Bless you for this. My father was in the Bulge. 82nd Airborne 325 regiment as a replacement. He was severely wounded January 3, 1945. The important thing is he came back and raised 3 sons. Thanks veterans. I visited both Normandy and the Bulge battlefields in 2019. What an experience. Thanks for what you did for these veterans. A lot of them took their stories to their graves.
Thank you for your efforts to thank and honor these great veterans of WW2. They are truly the greatest of generations.Thier sacrifice saved Europe and allowed all those young people in Belgium , France, Netherlands etc. to grow up free and happy. I am so proud of my own uncle who landed on Omaha beach with the 6th Eng. Special Brigade then was attached to the 2nd Inf Div through France and Germany and was on the northern shoulder of the Bulge. God Bless everyone of them.
Thank you for this amazing project. One of the signers you met, Mike Heyman of the 10th Armored Division , met his last roll call last Thursday in January 2021. Our hearts will always remember those who kept us free.,
Hi Drew , was he your dad ? I'll never forget that he was the first 10th Armored Veteran to welcome me into his home. I was trying to piece together my own grandfathers history with the 10th Armored and Mike helped me a lot. Any where I can get a copy of his book?
I just watch this and you are a great person get the story out to more people our veteran deserve all the respect my grandpa was in the navy in WWII my uncle’s both served in the navy I served too and now my son is in the navy too keep up with the good work your doing
My uncle Max Morrison was in the Bastogne during that German push....He was a scout under Patton... His only mention of the horror was when he was torn up by the shrapnel from a German 88,he said he didn't bleed out because of the cold that froze his wounds...He was 19... Lost him two years ago...Thank you for your sacrifice and bravery, uncle Max.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌹🌹🌹
God bless you and those great men. I dont have the words to describe my emotions. Andy, my uncle was in the 82nd airborne 505 pir at the bulge I wish he was still alive to experience something like you've created. God bless you
Fantastic documentary and I am so happy that our veterans were able to make it out for the anniversary. Thanks so much for putting this together and for honoring our veterans through this project.
Amazing, absolutely amazing. Thank you, and those that supported you, for getting these men back over the pond to visit their battlegrounds. You are doing some amazing work. 👍🇺🇸
“These are kids who never got to come home, some of them maybe never had a visitor.” That hit me. My great grandmother lost her two brothers and first husband during the First World War serving with the Canadian Expeditionary Force. She said that her biggest regret was that she and no one from the family ever made it out to France to pay their respects.
Fantastic documentary and what a way to honor these incredible veterans and bring to life the contribution they (and all the ones who didn't make it) made to the world. Thanks for the awesome job. I have an uncle, who is 97 who hit the beaches in Normandy in 1944 and whenever I have a chance to see him I always want to hear stories if he is up for talking about it. We are very privileged to still have these guys around.
I bet that you are a damn good cop Marine proud of you and thanks for this superlative video. Who said that cowboys ain't supposed to cry? Well Moe bandy wrote the song but my eyes are wet with pride
I visited this cemetery when i was in the air force stationed an air station just an hours drive east back in 1980. General Patton has his very own corner overlooking the entire cemetery of his fallen comrades.
Andy, I would really like to compliment you and this video and what you accomplished. I have already spoken to an American close friend of mine myself being Canadian about doing our own tour. I have been extremely interested in everything WW II especially the war in Europe. My friend and I are also sons of Holocaust survivors, whose fathers came from the same area of what was then Czechoslovakia close to the Hungarian border. We have spoken about going to Europe and travelling together across France, Belgium, to retrace events from D-Day to the Battle of the Bulge. Thanks again for your video, and your accomplishments. As a bonus, I am adding a video below of my Uncle Joe Guttman produced a short documentary interview about how he, my mother and all of the other brothers and sisters were the largest family to survive (9 kids plus parents). take care, joe ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L-uN98P2DwQ.html
