Growing up Juia Riew dreamed of seeing a Disney Princess that looked like her… so she created one. The Korean-American Harvard graduate went viral after posting a clip of her animated princess Shimcheong on TikTok. Soon calls around the world to make musical a reality followed.
In this interview, Julia opens up about growing up one of the few Asian Americans in the midwest and how it inspired her script and songwriting today.
