@@MT-zw1ti It could definitely use some balance changes (the removal of the 2 primary weapons trait, nerf the marksman, proximity mine spam), and unfortunately it is showing it's age compared to more refined shooters like Titanfall 2.
Best 3 from each team in cutscene, that motivate you a lot to play better, I do rember being in top 3 in war zone mode all the time, where deaths does not metter but objective does, sometimes you had to go on suicide mission just to stop defuse or killed assassination target.
This game started the cool melee take downs, then battlefield 3 did it then halo 4 then a bunch of other games. Funny how it doesn't get the recognition it deserves like a halo 3. Graphics where dope af. It had cut scenes before, during and after multiplayer matches, no killstreak perk but each gun class had it's own abilities that would regenerate after using them. The game had a bad ass jet pack with guns on it and that big ass machine you could ride and kill everyone with. That game deserved way more credit man, honestly one of my favorite if not my favorite games of all time.
Not sure if you could wait in mg invisible and when 5 or so enemy appear you spray them, thous marksmen make you check every corner to see if your marker get red and you know invisible fucker is hidden there
I’ll never forget when I got a PS message from Killzone telling me I was the best player of the week. I miss this game so much, great times, getting that message made me want to do so much more with video games but I didn’t know how to until I got older. :(
This was the perfect MP FPS. This and BF Bad Company 2. The mix of frenetic action, gritty graphics, incredible sound, solid level design (mostly), and complimentary classes was on point. Just look at BF5 to see how getting these things wrong just screws an entire game.
I played all 3 killzone from the trilogy (the first one on ps2) and i loved them all. Killzone 3 was the first game i played online (after only a few try on 1 cod) and i still think it was the best. Few but balanced class, 3 weapon's tier, and 12vs12 in good maps. I still remember the battles between the snipers in the best spots killing each others (always leave a mine behind you for the one who comes to stab you in the back!). I remember also a 'perfect' game as a sniper 40-0 kill/death. Wonderfull ! I hope they will gave to us another Killzone. Sry for my english i'm from Italy :)
Watching this brings back some serious nostalgia, I haven't touched this game in years. It's amazing how well the graphics have held up especially for a game that is 8 years old. it's a shame this game was never for Xbox because if it was and was backwards compatible I would try to find a copy and buy it in a heartbeat.
My favorite online shooter of all time, allong with KZ2. Those cutscenes were awesome, as a kid they made you feel really in to the mission, as part of a team. Wish they made a PS4 remake.
It's actually INSANE how good this game looks even to this day. The multiplayer cinematics were quite ahead of its time bc I've only seen multiplayer games start doing that recently, and oh my god the gun animations are SO CLEAN. If this shit got remastered with a slight graphics overhaul it would look brand new
Looking back now, Killzone 3 was one of the few games I remember where people online weren't constantly saying toxic things to you. Even if you were playing badly. I don't know how they managed to do that! maybe I just got lucky with the matches I was in. lol This game was so much fun.
I miss Killzone multiplayer, especially Operations. I went the PC route after PS3, but man I would buy the next Playstation if the next Killzone had this multiplayer on it. I'm just more upset this type of multiplayer hasn't been done again.
I will never forget getting the red ribbon on my gamertag for the first time, I thought I was the best player in the world lol. WIsh I could go back and grind this game for the first time again...
This was a BEAUTIFUL game for PS3 gen. This was amazing to see they really did live up to the promise of the "fake" E3 demo afterall lol. Gameplay was a bit slow and clunky though but still very enjoyable. COD Modern Warefare had fully taken over when Killzone 1, 2 and 3 released so I can't blame the game plus PS3 wasn't really a big shooter console.
The best multiplayer I have ever played still in 2024!! You could create the best teams with the classes they had! Engineer made ammo box, tactician captured spawn, medic revives, sniper invisible sniping, infiltrator disguised as enemy!! Simply best game I miss it very much!!
played this all the time but never online because didn't have internet so the AI game mode was all I played yet i feel like as if i did play online i miss this game so much i still listen to the theme music
The medic spam was real because they still revive each other and thous defend builders. On other hand you as attacker used to play infiltrator marksman or assault to see where enemy are, but medic spam did good job on both sides to push or hold
So many good memories with the squad. Lucky to still play with them till this day and we still talk about the good old days of KillZone. We hope they make a remaster for it and hopefully bring back Online multiplayer for the 3rd one. That was the only downside about the remaster collection version of “Mass Effect”, as they didn’t add multiplayer to their 3rd installment of the franchise and if they ever bring back KillZone they need to add online to it. The story is so good.
i feel bad for my dad. he would use to play this all the time on the ps3 with his buddies. we found out the servers were shutting down and i felt like he was devastated but he didn’t show it. he hasn’t played a console game since 2018. hopefully they revive the ps3 servers one day but i doubt it will happen.
Man Sony needs to resurrect this series along with SOCOM. They are freaking out that Microsoft might corner the market by buying Bethesda and Activision, meanwhile Killzone and SOCOM are just rotting away.
I just wished it had the clan system from kz2. Hopefully a new kill zone comes out for ps5. I miss the PS3 generation 😫 Motorstorm. Uncharted (3 of them). No politics last of us. Just games man. Purely games and many of them.
@@stephenfornadel7937 Sony dropped the ball big time. Motorstorm rebook and killzone reboot for ps5 would had done wonders. Not the same company as ps2 and ps3 days. That’s for sure.

The lack of map variations made me stop playing after level 50. Haven't played it since 2013, and I miss the game. I hope they'll revive this game like what happened with Crysis 3.
I bought a PS3 3 times just because I missed this game everytime I sold it lol . I was only a kid and had money for Xbox or PS3 but not both and everytime I sold the PS3 a year later id have the itch to play this game again
Kill zone 3 still looks so good today. The gun play and the kill sound is so amazing, everything about that game was like a dream come true and I don't think we will ever have anything that fills the same ever again. I can not believe that they gave up in the fps market and went family friendly with their company, such a shame. And horizon zero dawn is ass garbo
Only KZ game ive ever played was on my PS Vita. I never played KZ because i was an Xbox guy. I was low key jealous of this game because it looked gritty, raw, realistic, kind of like the Saving Private Ryan version of Halo. Is this game available on PS5?
