Roger Smith was young, tough, and handsome on 77 Sunset Strip, then Mr. Roberts (based on the Henry Fonda film), then tied the knot with the kitten of Hollywood, Ann-Margaret, made a lovely pair...until his death. May he R.I.P. One class act.

A loving and caring man that was totally devoted to Ann and their life together. You can’t do any better than Ann. Both were top shelf on a wall all by themselves, no fighting, no scandals and together to the very end. Great example for us all.

2024 I only read anything that I can put my hands on Ann-Margret and I was absolutely sick and my hart wanted to break for Ann-Margaret and Elvis. The way he broken up 😢 with her due to Priscilla of all People 🤬 I still wondered why Elvis married her. I feel a snake in the grass. But wow, I decided to also read about Rodger Smith but wow 😮🫠 !! Ann-Margaret choice in men was excellent! Very good taste. WELL DONE Ann-Margaret. To be married for 50 years just shows us how special you are ❤❤❤

Roger Smith was a fine actor and thoroughly descent man. His marriage to Ann Margaret fascinated me. The reason being that Ann was so in love with Elvis whom she called her soul mate and whose death she never got over, by her own admission. Roger I'm sure knew all that and accepted it for what it was. Both Ann and Roger must have been the best of human beings because they both remained completely faithful and utterly supportive of each other throughout the many many years, they were together. They were both at Elvis's funeral and you could clearly see from the film footage how broken-hearted Ann was, and there is Roger holding her and supporting her through the tragedy of Elvis's early death. All I can say is wow, that was one good man, Ann too was one great and loyal devoted wife to him, in spite of the fact Elvis would ring Ann after she married Roger and want to see her. Ann's perfect reply was ..."You know I can't ".... and she never did, Ann was one good moral Christian girl, the likes of which are hard to find. I think a man is truly blessed to have a good and virtuous woman by side in life. Their marriage was the perfect union. Two beautiful people, inside and out. Rest in peace Roger Smith, and Ann, God bless and keep you, be happy, Roger is at peace now and in perfect health.

that's funny a weird how she still remained being married to him all those yrs after still being in love w Elvis Presley See if she would had married Elvis she would stood by him to a remained his wife until the end she was just that kind of woman I always believed Elvis regretted giving her up to marry someone who proved to not stand by him a be worthy of his love he'd been much happier w Ann Margret I believe.
