What a strange weight configuration in the sleds box. I am going to have to ask the experts about this. lol

1 Front Right 1 Back Right 1 Middle Left 1 Back Left. I mean they wanted a little more up front so it felt like more weight sooner over the trip/pendulum point. They can also leave one up on the front of the sled. If you do that, you risk vehicles not getting off the line with some momentum. Big lugging tractors don't mind that so much. High finesse engines, don't like it. They like to easy into the weight and then have it come on their rear ends nice and easy. But, ask your friends, ask away and come back with what they say.

@@WWPTV Will 99% of sled owners load the weight box front to back. The exceptions are Crouse and his gang and now i see Allison is doing it. From what i gather putting the weights in the middle or rear of the box keeps the hitches from unloading when the box tops out and stabilizes the pan. But again i only know of a few guys who run the weights like that. The guy to ask would be Rick Crouse. I’ll see Rick in a few weeks. He was the first one i ever saw running the weights in the rear of the box.

@@brock50pullingvideos Understood. But, different classes require different setups. And if a sled OP has it in his book that this or that setup worked, throw out the knowledge the sled builder gives you, you go with what you know. The builder doesn't know local dirt, local power, and local bullies that are over HP-ed in classes they shouldn't be in think of Street Diesel.
