I think DCL will base his decision on our wingers. They don't get to the byline and cross. So he will look at that and be off if a club who have quick wingers of that nature want him. I can still see him being a sub striker for Arsenal personally.

seems as tho the DCL contract offer might be a strategic move to let the fans know we offered him a contract and that the choice to move on to newcrapple would've been largely his, i.e. he wasn't run out the club so as to balance the books. to be less cynical about it, it's also possibly like a respectful offer to DCL to say "here's our offer" so he can compare that to whatever newcrapple are wanting to pay him.

If we are depending on DCL as our main source of goals next season then we will once again be among the lowest goal scorers.
