Something is amuck...1978 had a different tail light housing ...on the side it was almost a v turned sideways shape and not the three sided box shape as shown..so it's either a later model Malibu or the quarter was modified..my dad had a 78 and I had a 79 so the difference is obvious...now let's move on to the front end..78 & 79 did not have the quad headlights..that was an 80 or 81 option of Malibu..so let's get the year right on the car and I'm going with 1981... 🇺🇸😎
you do good work everything is clean and tastefully done, most of these cars are butchered hacked and fucked up. yours is well on its way to a beautiful machine.
hecx1323 the tail lights can't be changed to newer ones on a 78 because the sides are triangular sized and the 79-82 tail lights are square. Which the tail lights on this malibu are off of an 80 malibu. I know because my father has a 78 & 80 malibu. If you have something to say, make sure you know what you're talking about.
Okay sounds good go keek checking out your daddy's car you should just work on that.. this is built the way i want it to look i never said in the video i brought it back to original did i? or anything like that at all.. its just a video to show what i like and HOW I BUILT IT..
