Hi Mel, I've been following your KDP journey for over a year. I would love to learn more via your KDP course (particularly scrapbooking). I've been a Repper user for about four years now and love it so much. I have also signed up to your Substack Clubhouse membership. I've added a reply in the Welcome posts, asking about the KDP course. Been a bit hard to find an official way to let you know I am interested in this. Mel, great video! Thanks🙂Signed up for your email notification for the mini course! Im not one for courses, but yours, I'd want to do! It was great to hear how well your scrapbook pads are doing! Im primarily selling scrapbook pads, as well. Love to ever be learning, though - like, I never even thought about leaving information in the description about the perforation issue! I definitely will from now on, especially since I have read comments on other scrapbook pads from people about that specific thing! I love the professional approach you've taken towards your scrapbook paper pads, and this is exactly why I think your brand will continue to grow! Also, now you've started promoting the papers on social media, they will start to be found more, especially in the run-up to Christmas where people end up shopping as much for themselves as they do for gifts! Recently I found marketing by shelby which talks a lot about how to promote books on tik tok and insta and I've found that helpful. :)

Hello and thanks so much for the lovely video! I think this is a very interesting idea. Just a couple questions… are you having any complaints about how thin the paper is? I know kdp uses very thin quality paper. Also, the paper is not acid free like most scrapbook papers are. Is this problematic? Thanks for your info!

I’m upfront in my descriptions about the thickness of the paper and that it isn’t acid-free.

Funny that you mention everyone jumping on the Gothic Halloween bandwagon. My bestselling scrapbook paper on Etsy right now is a vintage Gothic Halloween bundle. I went out of my way to make about half of the papers "offbeat" and different from everyone else. I figure that if someone wants "Gothic Halloween," I need to give them a mix of what they were originally looking for along with some unique reasons to pick my papers over a competitor's.

Yes, you’ve got to do something different to stand out from the crowd because otherwise it affects the customer experience when all they can see is essentially the same book repeated over and over again! And well done on your successful book!

Hi. Just curious though. Do you upload these scrapbooks to Amazon KDP in similar way you upload as "Paperbacks"? Or do you make scrapbooks on your own and use Amazon's storage for your physical scrapbooks? Appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

Love your videos thank you! I started KDP and Etsy in May, and these scrapbook paper books seem a bit like the 'digital wallpaper' that people sell on Etsy, is that right? Do you mind me asking approx how many pages your scrapbook paper books tend to be, if you do them double-sided, and typically what price you sell them for in the US market?

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you like the videos. I usually aim for around $2 profit for scrapbooks. All the details of what I do will be in the mini-course so please sign up if you’re interested in knowing when it’s ready. Otherwise you can just look at what typical page sizes and numbers are on Amazon and it’s best to work out what’s right for you so experiment with a few different things. Good luck!

None of them have it BUT I am teaching myself how to use A+ content at the moment so one of my jobs will be to go back and add it to my existing books and then moving forward, yes, each book will have A+ content.
