@@markennyee Yes, the spoils of war - we have been in a financial war for a long time now. It's a question, of whose financial system will collapse first. IMO it will be the Euro.
Remember when the UK government paid slave owners compensation? It took the best part of 200 years to settle the books. But strangely there's not enough money for schools, hospitals, infrastructure, social housing etc etc. Weird isn't it?
People using social housing and public schools don't own the Tory party or the Labour party. They're not owned by doctors, rail workers or carers either.
I agree they are always waging war on ill people and pensioners. They would be better off fighting corruption in the political system but we all know they will not do that.
If you tax the rich people too much, they will move to other countries with lower tax, then there will be poor people leave in your country only. Low tax may attract more foreign investments and attract the rich people yo move to your country
@@paulgibbon5991 Hong Kong people has hardworing nature originally, but they said they became lazy after moved to UK, the tax system make people lazy, they need to pay higher rate of tax if they work longer time, there are so many people dont work and rely on benefits, it makes them feel that it is not worthy for hardworking
@@paulgibbon5991 I am a Hong Konger and live in Hong Kong now, you may check my IP, it is from Hong Kong. British colonial officers ruled Hong Kong with low tax and low benefits all the time, it attracted lot of foregin investments and make everyone hardworking. We believe it the key sucess of Hong Kong
British people need to wake up. We need a change in the voting system to sort this country out. Going from one bad party to another isn’t going to work 😢

2:24 ''we're cutting taxes that grow the economy'' . If those taxes helped you grow the economy...cutting them would prevent you growing the economy right?

@@Shsjier Hong Kong always has low tax and low benefits, low tax may attract lots of foreign investments, low benefits can make everyone hardworking. Hong Kong was developed to the 2nd richest and prosperous city in Asia during colonial period. Singapore has also low tax, it is one of the most prosperous city in Asia as well
@@yipzoe3865 Take Richard Drax. How does he move his millions his forefathers looted from plantations overnight while continuing to dodge tax? Imagine the logistics and financial costs.
The Tories with Hunt completely destroyed the triple lock on pensions for many by only giving relief to NI paying citizens and freezing limits for all. It was a cynical ploy to suggest that the triple lock was honoured, after the year that "special reasons" meant it could not The new regime effectively means means testing pensioners who had put a bit away for their retirement. What will be the new qualifying threshold for prospective state pensioners since the NI contribution rates have been reduced?
I would like to know how many of the MPs from all parties who are standing down are doing so because of concerns about their personal security. The intimidation of MPs by a small minority (you know who they are!) in this country is now affecting our democracy. This is intentional. We are sliding towards Dhimmi-hood and journalists are doing a poor job of getting to facts of the matter.
@@PC1974 One party has 14 years experience, the other has 0 experience, the leader is responsible for the mess we're in considering foreign criminals bilking the taxpayers for court funds to fight extradition, the deputy is a thief that bilked the tax man for over 25,000, and the new chancellor used to work for the BOE that is the main reason behind sky high inflation due to putting off raising interest rates.
@@jamesbarbour8400you're more worried about that than sewage in the rivers and seas, broken housing system, broken NHS, no dentists, pot hole ridden roads, rising national debt, broken armed forces, mortgages and utilities going through the roof?
@@BoyeeSmudger well to out it into context, our Politicians, of all colours are responsible for all of that through their policies and sheer ineptitude. Given that the vast majority of our so called 'ruling class' attended either Eton or Cambridge, it doesn't exactly portray our highest seats of learning in a particularly good light, if these are the kind of individuals whom comprise the Government.
Thousands of middle class and richer class , leaving U.K. , hundreds of houses for sale , ask yourself a question, where all of them going , why they’re leaving ? They’re more smarter than we all think , they know , U.K. is finished.

I read the following online: "Voters need to be registered to take part in the election and must be done by 18 June". Does that registration apply every time there is an election?
I'm registered on the vote by mail list. I don't have to worry. But if you're not sure check. Don't listen to anyone or anything online. Just go to the government web site. Remember voter id is required. Don't lost your right to vote. Good luck 👍
It applies every time you change address. So long as you’ve previously registered for your current address, you should be fine. But, if not, it only takes a few minutes to do it online. I had to redo mine before the recent locals and it was pretty painless
@@paulgibbon5991 Oh Paul, that’s quite a chip you have on your shoulder. Studying hard and working hard makes you smart and independent, not a Tory. You should try it.
2:19. Cutting taxes for the rich, means either, cuts to public services, or the shortfall being taken up by raising taxes on the rest...probably both. The Tory idea of responsible public spending is to extract as much wealth as possible from already struggling families, and hand it over to their rich mates and corporate paymasters. Grifters all.
@@Zen-rd9np They are both knob heads! They are both politicians! And they are both out to feather their own nests!!! Now you give me the reasons why I should trust any of them and give them my vote!
They were elected to represent their voters: instead they had one long party and now they're jumping ship. Labour is no different - people need to start voting independent.
That guy that said they don't want to be opposition........he said it all. Being a politician is hard work...i couldnt do it....but more ordinary people of compassion need to be at the top table.
The Tories could end up as the Lib Dem if care is not taken. Sunak can’t wait to leave and go to work in Silicon Valley. We saw how he was looking like a school boy asking Elon questions about AI. He can’t wait to get a high paying American job.
Must never forget Ed and his role in the Post office scandal...This man actually has the brass neck to campaign, talking about sewage is oddly appropriate? I didn't think Sunak knew any working class people, or have any as friends...must have been tough for him to go in that pub and meet working class people. Then there's SIR Starmer, son of a Toolmaker (who owned his own company Oxted Tool Co), a humble man with no ideas and a huge pair of flip flops. My Parents lived in Surrey, both worked, my mum was a cleaner and my dad was a garage mechanic. We never sat round the table wondering which bill to pa and not pay, or had the telephone cut off for months???
Is he going to lead by example? He could always have command of a regiment of immigrants to follow him,..straight to paradise,..only surprise they will get is that they won't find any of the promised virgins there,...the Yanks got there first.
To cut spending, why can’t they cut their wages, including local councillors who are on 6 figure sums. Why do they have to affect those on minimum wages and already struggling, when they have their ivory towers and know nothing of the struggles experienced on a day to day basis.
I found out today that they are trialing a new covid drug on humans and i think its shocking... noticed the gp jumped with joy when he signed the paperwork. Whatever the tories are up to its absolutely disgusting 😅
Also, not true that you need to increase taxes. You need to increase the tax take. Growth in the economy is one and increasing the taxes on nationalised industries including utility companies is another.
Latest jumping on a bandwagon if they were in there just leave it as it was it's just disgraceful how they all start going oh we really feel for the people they feel for their pockets
Rats that leave a sinking ship. Always find a way to survive. Exactly the same with our Politicans. They just switch parties to keep them accustomed to the rich lives they lead.
Tactical voting is the only way to truly get rid of them for a long time. StopTheTories.Vote can tell you who is most likely to keep Tories away from power in your area.
