I’m such a die hard sports fan.. I love the Yankees, Knicks, Rangers and Giants. It hurts so much when any of them lose but man the Giants just hit different and I genuinely love this team and it’s a big part of my life… getting sick of the roller coaster rides man I just want this team to finally have some stability and accountability again. Sorry to all my fellow giants fanatics
@@stanbrad13 What the Giants have been for the last decade. The Knicks were for the last 2 decades. Failure or Success starts from the top & trickles down. Look at what the Don has done in 4 years. Completely transformed the Knicks into. I still can't believe it every time I say it. Legit Title Contenders. Wow.
For those hating on the coach…if DJ can connect on a few of these deep balls the giants win by double digits. THe coach can’t make the wideouts catch the ball. The QB is an anchor around the neck of this franchise. This is as good as he gets. Daboll played the game to keep it close into the 4th and there were so many chances for big plays that DJ under threw.
@@billmangan603 Wandale would be a PERFECT slot receiver, if they can draw up better plays to get him to the yard markers. Constantly throwing short and asking him to pick up an extra like 5 yards for the 1st every time is infuriating.
Why are people forgetting he had neck and acl surgery which effects throwing mechanics ? Did yall forget he was top 10 in deep ball accuracy not long before the injuries …
I have to disagree with Justin, the Giants deserve to be 1-3. You can't say they were just a few plays away from 3-1 because good teams make those plays. Good QBs make the throws. The Giants aren't good enough to take advantage of good situations, therefore they deserve their bad record
@@jeffreyworthy5384 The game wouldn't have been close if the offense wasn't chewing the clock with 5 FG drives. Banks couldn't cover his ass with a blanket.
@@mickpratt8327 bottom line is the offense had chances to win drop passes, bad throws, bad play calls you blaming Banks for the loss on plays that happened in 1st half 😆😆😆😆…..imagine blaming the game on plays from 1st half when offense kicked 5 fgs sounds like someone feelings hurt
@jeffreyworthy5384 first half ref called a 15 yard facemask on Bellinger when it happened to Bellinger. May have cost the Giants 4 points and maybe we only need a FG at the end. First half of football games matter.
On the TD McFadden was held. That's why he missed the tackle. As the OL was talking over, he grabbed McFadden's shoulder, pulling him off balance. It was an obvious call.
This is why the Giants fan base frustrates me. I don't often agree with Justin but in this case I certainly do. Why do you guys constantly dog Daniel Jones, routinely cite, 'he's getting paid a lot of money,' but with Brian Burns, he's called an impact player despite not playing like one. Just remember, he's making more money this year than Myles Garrett, Justin Madubuike, Quinnen Williams, Maxx Crosby and teammate Dexter Lawrence.
Garbage refs screwed us from the beginning with calling a facemask on the wrong team and then gifting the Cowboys a touchdown by picking up a holding flag. Giants WRs dropping passes, garbage defense, and we couldn't run the ball or stop the run.
There were a lot of penalties against the Cowboys too. What does one bad call have to do with a bad overall performance. Boo hoo hoo is not becoming. Cheese with your wine?
@@AmazingGuy13 Refs called 11 penalties on Dallas. Continuing to show run and then running against stacked boxes for 1yd, that lost us the game. 24 carries for 26yds...pathetic. Each run was like an incomplete pass.
Stop yapping and crying!! Cause u everywhere.. oh flag flag flah wahhhh wahhh... dj ain't fucking it. U sound like a kid living in someone's basement every time i read your comments. U the same in baddogs channel..
After one play coming off the field, DJ went up to Nabers apologizing, and Nabers brushed him away. No fist pumping, no teammate exchange. DJ fire the ball into Nabers in bracket coverage without looking the other way. And Nabs got hit. Not that there's much the other way in Daboll's curl-flat passing attack. You got two receivers curling or hooking leting one defender to cover both, and Wandale four yards behind the line on a flat. Who gotta make three people miss to get a first down. That's if DJ places the ball right, which he doesn't most times. The closer we are to first down, the shorter the passing game becomes. Need four yards on 3rd and long, run a curl-flat with wandale on the flat 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage. We have only one run play, inside zone. Singletary, who doesn't know how to cover the football, even when being tackled, had to spin out of dead in the backfield because there is nothing else that we run. Okay, this is way too long... No body is going to read this
I’m not disappointed, we’re making progress. Line is better, we didn’t get rolled and to be in position to win at the end of the game to me it means we’re getting better. We’re one draft class away. Refs killed us though. It was suspiciously close to the line. Draft kings made their money.
I was thinking the same. Offensive line is doing well, Malik Nabers is as advertised, just need to solidify the QB. Defense needs to see Deonte Banks play significantly better as does Bobby Okereke. Brian Burns is like Kayvon 2.0, dude just goes MIA for large chunks.
People need to chill out. The Cowboys destroyed us in two games last year. Giants have closed the gap. The Oline can finally pass protect and we have receivers that can win. The injuries have obviously affected DJs deepball. Hopefully he can figure it out as the year plays out. This season is not over. They will compete.
Is nobody gonna blame Daboll and his terrible play call of 1st down obviously runs, as to why we couldnt run the ball effectively? How much more is Daboll going to cost us?
The Giants are never going to consistently win games as long as they continue to get “decent” play out of the QB position. We need a QB who we can trust to throw a consistently good deep ball.
The garbage refs screwed the Giants from the beginning with a phantom facemask and then gifted the Cowboys a touchdown by picking up a flag for them. You can't blame Daniel Jones for his WRs dropping passes. Dexter Lawrence was M.I.A. against the Cowboys again.
@@cooldude7821not sure on specific numbers but there were a few times I found myself upset for our receivers not going to get the ball or fighting to be in the best position to make the catch. It’s not offensive passing interference if you move towards the ball and a guy gets in your way.
you guys can glaze this regime however you want but this is a checkdown offense and is no better than the judge/garrett offense at this point, is honestly pathetic that we have a 1 yard run, a checkdown and a 3rd down on every set, the drives are as forced and awkward as they were with "bad head coaches", so when are we calling daboll what it is, a liability on offensive positioning, bad with media, bad in locker room, bad scheme all around, ZERO IDENTITY, ZERO IMPROVEMENT YEAR TO YEAR.
THANK you. I’m glad some people still get it. DJ played the offense essentially perfectly. Players dropped the ball. And yes. He missed a few deep balls, but a few of them weren’t there anywhere. The scheme itself is not enough to win games, even with perfect qb play. Dabolls favorite thing to do in the red zone is get cute. Just … smh. 🤦🏻♂️
DJ played the offense perfectly? He had plenty of inaccurate throws and held the ball too long at times too. Dallas knew he can't throw it more than 15 yards so they can sell out the run. I agree the WR had bad drops too, but DJ did not run the offense perfectly imo
I would like to see this offensive scheme with a QB capable of hitting a deep throw. The neck injury did a lot of damage to his arm strength. Daboll wants to be aggressive but doesn’t have faith in Jones.
@@Schoolzyschoolz I don’t know that Daboll wants to be aggressive. If he did, he would be aggressive. If jones threw 40 picks because of it, then his job would be safe, and everyone would move on from jones without question because everyone would see the problem. Instead, it’s an epic amount of flats, underneath, mesh, and decoy routes that are outside of the progression where jones only gets one place to really go with the ball. And when that one place is covered, everyone points a finger and says he blows. Which… I’m not saying he doesn’t. I’m saying that in the order of sucky-ness… It’s: Dabolls mismanagement of the roster decisions to replace injured players and also put key players in non-key roles Defense Dabolls offensive scheme Theo Johnson Jones noodle arm Let’s not forget… we would have now won 2 more games if the defense could actually make more stops or not give up a big play.
Same old story. I have been watching Giants since 1958. The torture continues like never before. Six years of waiting? Why is everyone waiting? "DJ isn't that bad"? Please, time to cash Jones in and get Nabors some help. NFL Draft 2025 with a new coach. Same old New York Giants.
@@Matt90541 Agreed Matt. They keep billing Singletary as a fine running back. He has been an average throw away running back since Buffalo. Counting: Six years and still waiting for Jones to appear... Dump Jones is done as a New York Giants QB.
All three of our starting WRs dropped first downs, and all three of our TEs had penalties. This team isn't good enough to win when they have self-inflicted wounds like that.
Im sorry but Shoen has hard really bad drafts, even the players he hits on outaide of Nabors are servicable at best and he has whiffed on so many. Also of Eli was playing we hang 40 on this team last night.
I disagree. Outside of running on 2nd and goal from the 10. The plays looked well designed. They couldn’t run or hit a deep pass. And drops. Execution was the problem. As it usually is.
They couldn’t run the ball at all which they should have been able to do. They ran the ball a certain way over and over again instead of making adjustments. It took until the 3rd quarter to throw on first down which worked really well. Running the ball on 2nd and goal at the 10 was absurd. And the decision to have Wan’Dale catch passes behind the line of scrimmage is play design. The plays where they let Nabers run with it continue to do nothing as well yet they keep calling it on 2nd down and lose yards. I blame the play design and play calling more than anything.
No way.....not even in the same stratosphere. Team came in to last season off of a playoff season.....in other words, with an iota of hope. After ONE drive, that was gone. This game.....we lost because our QB cant throw a deep ball. Why, I dont know. Could be he is not trusting his leg yet. Whatever...I hated the result last night, but I saw a few good things. There was NOTHING good about 40-0...hell we also lost AT that game. That entire evening was a disaster. And the Cowboy fans got to party all night. At least there was a semblance of discomfort last night.
You guys are FUCKING killing me!😂 let me get this straight you two have the nerve to call out a player who’s gone up against top tier receivers each week. #5 went up against a ROOKIE! And did what? His one on one win percentage for his CAREER is what? NEW YORK GIANTS football is based on what? I don’t get the boy crush that the Giants media has with this dude.. we are known for a pedigree of D lineman. Your identity is everything! I swear before God it is as if the John Mara Ora of incompetence has trickled down all the way to the casual fan…. This shit is dark! How I know I’ve been a Knick fan. I know darkness in sports!
@@chrisjones1536 No! Your talking too a fan who watched Lenard Marshall sack Joe Montana to set Matt bar up for a 54 yarder.. our bar as fans are different! I pretty sure you caught the mid 2000s D line so you have bar but it’s been so long you don’t know any better. How I know you said he had a good game😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
@@chewade4146 Kayvon had 5 pressures (2 one of them caused dak to miss throws) he had a sack and drew 2 holding calls. Not to mention he was solid when setting the edge and a good contributor in the run game. Sacks r not the only way an edge can effect the game.
You all need to go back and look at those numbers again. Cause that narrative was a lie built on a lie. It was one season, where he took a total of like 10 deep shots and hit 6 of em lmao and next closest starting QB was at like 30 attempts 🤣 He would only take the shot if it was wide wide WIDE open, and so he was more "efficient" than anybody, because no one else even came close to attempting so few. That's like me in 8th grade basketball making one uncontested layup, and saying I was a career 100% field goal shooter 🤣 Twitter parrots duped you, and many others
Put Neal at guard for the run game. Send Wandale past the sticks. Give Banks some help. Play Hyatt. Blitz Pinnock and McFadden. Give the ball to Tracy. Put Bellinger in next game. Sit DJ babyfat Davidson and play Chatman. Catch the ball.
IMO.. Above average QB play and highly functional (scoring) offense can mask all other deficiencies for a football team. I've been a supporter of DJ because he's hardworking and handles himself the way you want your franchise QB to. However, DJ's ceiling is average. He's not bad but not really good. Somewhere in the middle. I think Dabs has gotten the most out of him. They'll move on and I just hope this regime can get their hands on a QB that can play above average. I honestly feel this organization is a QB away. They already have several pieces in place to be really successful. Time will tell how this all works out. Go Big Blue!!
Justin has some of the stupidest fucking points I've ever heard. Daboll called an okay game. DJ's deep ball is inconsistent - overthrow or underthrow. He's coming off a neck and ACL so I need more games to see if this is really an issue or not. But DJ can hit 20-30yd plays - so scheme plays around that instead of plays short of the sticks. Can't be conservative anymore
No home touchdowns yet this season so the next time you can make your first home touchdown is mid October. Ugh. Listen to Colin Cowherd's podcast of the state of the Giants and Cowboys. Interesting. Get Dabol his QB in the draft.
I will forever ask why we throw before the sticks so damn much????? Dallas was picking up 7, 8 or 9 yards on first downs! We have speed!!! Use it!!! It like owning a Ferrari and driving it like an 18 wheeler!!!!
Agree with Bobby - Giants did not target the end zone Funny - had we kicked 2 more FGs, we would have won. Seriously - 4th & goal at the 3 early 3rd quarter - Score a f*cking TD. Even if they didn't, Cowboys would be pinned at the 3 yard line. Trust your O, Trust your D.
Lock can throw the ball over fifty yards. When a QB can’t throw over 30 yards the opponent knows they don’t have to play deep so the pinch up to stop the run. That’s why they only had 26 rushing yards. Simple football 101.
Idk, I know I don't know shit but I wasn't particularly impressed with the defense as others seem to be. I was surprised to see that they only had like 80 something rush yards because it seemed like they could get 4, 5, 6 or more yards every time they ran the ball on us. And we couldn't get any pressure on Dak whatsoever. Kayvon was the only guy on the D line who I actually noticed throughout the game, and probably because he was going up against the rookie LT. The only time I really saw Burns do anything was that run stop where he was also up against their rookie LT. If we didn't win TOP like we did I'm sure we might have given up 30 points
It was very winnable. D line needs more pressure. Banks needs to actually play cornerback. And the offense needs to call plays to utilize players. Nabers won’t last all season if he gets 15-20 targets a game. They need to use their players. And when the players are used they can’t make mistakes
Schoen, Daboll and Jones all have to go. Embrace the full tear down and rebuild. You are already losing to teams like Washington that are doing just that! So what exactly are we doing?
DJ is not it,period! 7 minutes left with 2 timeouts on a short field. The intangibles of taking your team down the field and win the game, DJ doesn’t have it. HE IS NOT IT. Play calling was okay but could be better. DJ missed the moment. Win or lose, he must go. Giants is the only team that has won a championship in each decade since the 80’s. Time for him to leave!
Cowboys fan, but on the personal foul on the first drive of the game facemask… the refs missed the call but it looked like there was one on that play behind bellinger and over shown. 85 for the giants had a face mask against Donovan wilson. Either they got the number wrong or just a bad call bc over shown did have hands to the face on bellinger
Wasting first downs when its goal to go. Run, run, pass if you're as inept as the coaches, RB and QB. Can we get a QB that can throw a deep ball. I especially enjoyed watching the referees call a face mask penalty on Bellinger while his face mask was being grabbed by the cowboy's d-back.
My issue is that this offense has looked the same for yearsssss. 5 years to be exact. Daniel jones is the issue man. I mean short routes behind the sticks… wasn’t that a Jason Garrett issue? And a judge issue? Now a daboll issue? Who’s the common denominator. I’m still on the bench Daniel jones train and not because he’s worse but 1: can’t have him getting hurt, and 2: at least lock can go deep and make all the throws daboll wants, even if he’s not good
I also want to put theo Johnson part of the problem. Dude never knows where to play, always looks lost. He doesn’t pick the right person to block on run plays. I know he’s a rookie and it’s only week 4, but he needs to bury his eyes in the playbook these next 10 days off…
Get me Garret Nussmeier. HUGE arm, knows how to play within the pocket and read a defense, has some experience with Malik Nabers... and will get him the ball down the field rather than throwing him into underneath defenders all day, grinding him into dust.
Man this one hurts cause it was just there....But the truth is that we are playing better every week. This team is showing improvements. We are a much better team than we were last year. The defense stepped up yesterday. This offence just needs a it more time (this season). I know this all seems a little late and useless.......But we are heading in the right direction
I understand that some deep shots were missed..but i think the lack of a running game hurt us more than the missed deep shots didn't have to respect the run so even the deep ball was defended well not much separation..not 1 pass into the end zone is crazy..we gave up on the run that hurt us..hard to be a giants fan right now definitely the o-line needs to work on run blocking getting to the next level so we can run.. a balanced football team is what we need..#GOBLUE
I don't know if the checkdown offense is because that is all Jones is comfortable doing or it is what Daboll's offense is, but either way, I feel both need to go. Bring in a new QB and the offensive coordinator of the Texans and move on
Key points to our lost first the bad facemask call.. Robinson and slayton dropped critical balls daboll one or two run calls where they are predictable instead of runnning a screen or passed it and when parsons totally shook Thomas on that one play those are keys to our loss other than that you have to admit our guys play better definitely was suppose to get this one despite the loss I’m seeing improvement run game was the worse but even with that this was our game to win let’s go big blue keep fighting

depressing is we're no closer to being good. this roster aint gona do it. theres some decent dudes here and there, but overall they just dont have fight in them, no winning attitude. its like theyre so blah about winning, they just dont seem to care onfield. what happened to daboll? dude is just meh, yea we did some good things... cmon dude what happened to that first year coach?
DJ on that motion play was pissed when he had to throw it to Robinson Malik set down wasn’t expecting the ball leek should of ran a corner route and Robinson should have ran that motion out but angle back under middle of the field
Jones he can't make a deep throw and then the ball is behind the receiver rarely in stride and almost always short of the sticks and we can't run the damn ball at all and then fumbles lastly penalties its maddening Jones is still not the answer he is limited and we have to go get a QB in the draft Dabols game plan stunk !
Can't wait to see the All 22 breakdown . Some of the long balls had a small windows but I want to see why Daboll didn't abuse these corners on intermediate routes.
Such a painful game it really sucks watching how limited we are at qb he can’t make deep throws there are so many receivers open down field he either underthrows or over throws it’s terrible you can see our offense we are literally a competent qb away !!
This is a good pass blocking Oline but not good at run blocking. They should of run duo again and took chances of opening up lanes. If u gonna run quick pass u gotta catch the ball and use the tight ends smh
The giants have lots of problems but you cant keep bringing up this deep ball issue with a guy coming of an acl,the defense and receivers also need to step up.
Jones used to be so good at the deep ball. You can’t be a QB in this league if you can’t hit a deep ball. This a is good (not great) roster that needs a QB to elevate everyone else around them.
Being honest we are not a great team maybe a good team but that’s doubtful and Jones is not the QB that’s going to get us to the promise land Banks is not a shut down corner there are still some holes to fill and the next three games are not wins and at 1-6 it’s not promising Go Giants
For me im getting a bit annoyed that the giants are running that wandale motion on every 3rd down because now teams expect it and watch at some point it’s gonna get picked off
This can't go on with Jones not being able to throw the deep ball with Nabors, Hyatt, Robinson and Slayton! I don't think Daboll calls good plays on the offensive side. He has too many bonehead plays like Nabors end around. That needs to setup better or put it in your back pocket. I knew the Giants were going to lose when the refs called face mask on the WRONG player!! and nobody complains!!!! The NFL is rigged. The announcers for some reason always have the Cowboys or whomever play the Giants backs!! Fuck the Cowboys!! The only Cowboy I even like is Romo calling plays on CBS!! I would rather listen to him than any other announcer calling the games today!
He needs more help. Slayton - huge drop on third down on a great pass by Jones Robinson - drop at end of game was a killer. He also has bad ball skills on deep passes. Arms to short and he too short. One pass at the end the db misplayed and robinson should have tracked that ball. TE's - Run terrible routes and make mental mistakes Tracy - great pass down to the two yard line but he couldn't get lined up. Nabers - another key drop at end of game on a great play by Jones Refs - killed us in first Q
