Normally any ground fault current greater than 6mA will trip a GFCI. Why then do gas stove spark modules and microwave magnetrons that reference the grounded appliance chassis and pass current greater than 6mA through that chassis able to do so without tripping the GFCI? Demonstration and Theory behind secondary current sources.
