I just tried it with my Canon 70-200 f2.8L II. The AF does work photo/video but the problem is that they disable the Image Stabilization on the lens once you adapt it. If I have to choose one, I choose the Image Stabilization on the lens. Please guys dont abandoned it. it's almost the perfect adapter.
Please fix the Image Stabilization on the lens with firmware updates. Sadly Canon 70-200 f2.8L II doesn't work. The fact that you guys advertised it that the Image Stabilization works on your website.
Just received my adaptor, 1-. unable to do firmware update or it is the current update version 0.1.2, 2- Auto focus and aperture doesn't work. Did I received a lemon or this adaptor just POS?
A7IV user thoughts: Firmware 0.1.2 - everything works except IBIS, you can't set focal length manually IBIS is just disabled Firmware 0.1.4 - IBIS functionality is ok you can set it manually but aperature operation don't work. Just combine these two firmwares and make 0.1.5 😃

My EF-SE won't show up on PC windows 10. Any thought on what to do to fix this, I've tried device & disk manager and it wasn't showing up. Also I've tried 3 leads.
@@rw3452 I had reached out to 7Artisans and they were able to help me get it to show up. They basically asked me to try different micro USB cables. I had a whole bunch laying around and after going through several cables, one worked! And I was able to update the firmware just as instructed in the video.
Having the same issue, the video tutorial show going to the product and a few option next to it, like the firmware, I am not seeing this when I go to the website either.
Stabilization won't turn on for the canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM on the Sony aA7C. Please fix. I've tried contacting 7 Artisans support, but they won't respond to my emails.
Is there a location to download old version firmware? I upgraded to v14 but a few of lens in the video mode won't work any more (v12 worked well for me). thanks.
How did you get v1.4?! I have the opposite issue. My adapter had v1.4 (AF worked very well, but no aperture control) but when I upgraded the FW it brought it to V1.2. Now with 1.2, I’ve lost all control, AF is no longer working. If I can get my hands on 1.4, I’d be happy. Do you have the bin file still?

I'm a bit confused. My new EF to SE converter has firmware 01.4, but the latest firmware update on the 7Artisans website is version 0.1.2. Which version is the best? And if I have installed version 0.1.2, can I go back to 0.1.4 (I haven't seen a file to download for this anywhere)?

Typically, a higher version number (like 01.4) would indicate a more recent update than an earlier version (0.1.2). If your converter is already on firmware 01.4, it's likely running on a newer version than what's currently listed on our website. I received this adapter today and so far, I am not impressed. I'm mounting my Canon 400mm 5.6 to a Sony a6000. and its giving me a fit. What happens is the F stop indicator blanks out so the lens and camera stops communicating. Will return it and get something better. Also, I tried downloading the firmware and all I get is a rar file.
I use the EF 24-105 f4 is lens on the Sony a9 body mount, but sometimes I can't focus on the face and eyes because it keeps jumping back and forth and the image is blurry and cannot be focused in firmware version 0.1.2. I hope the company releases it soon. updeta update improves the focusing condition via mount on sony a9 body
guys, does anyone have an older firmware version file? I just wanna try it because a6700 works terrible. lacking autofocus in video is not a big deal, but i can't even change aperture in M mode. i hope 7artisans are going to fix it very soon

I bought this one. it does not work good with Tamron ef lens. sometimes error. half shutter no focus. somtimes work sometimes does not work. non fully support. If after can update firmware to support Tamron lens is better. If has this firmware update please tell me thx 🙏🏻.
@@7artisansOfficial I sell it to someone’s has a7iv & canon lens people. when I still have product. I use Tamron 18-250 f3.5-6.5, and 60mm f2 lens. When I use this adapter, it non fully supports focus. I visit you websit. I know Tamron lens no listed on your supporting list. I still try to updated firmware once. And still non fully support. If in the future. You can updated firmware and let tamron lens support. I still interested buy your product again. But If can let me first try is work, and pay second is better. Best regard.
@@7artisansOfficial I've tried to get support from you online, website, on twitter, insta and you offer no support. I cannot get the adapter to mount my machine to update firmware. Also, the IS on the adapter, doesn't seem to work.
I did not receive any support from your online teams in regard to the adapter. It would not update and the IS doesn’t seem to work with lenses. The adapter doesn’t dock to PC. The autofocus is great and I love it but your support makes me not want to recommend as much. I did a review which got a bit of traction so there are many comments you might want to look at.
I can confirm. The Image stabilization on FX3 does not work properly with all the lenses( the auto profile send by the lens is not correct so the camera does stabilize the sensor bad). Also with Sigma 85mm 1.4 EF the option of stabilization lacks completely from the camera menu with this adapter. I was hoping for the problems to be fixed with this update but no
When I connect this adapter to my computer, it does not show up or be recognized as a device on my computer to access. If anyone knows how to get this to work, that would be great! Edit: the customer support team asked me to try different usb cables and it just so happened one cable worked vs all the other usb cables I had laying around.
