So much potential with this device. Great looking and finally a touch screen, but putting in the crappy software just ruined it. Maybe they need to still some good software from another company. Great review Wicked. It's Beefcake Man.

You got a better version than I did. My screen is plastic with no touch and I only have nes and gbc games, no snes, no ps1.

I loved the x-15 because with drastic it was actually one of the few devices that was well designed for ds emulation with a mic and touch screen... but my god the lack of google store support and having to hunt down cracked apps and get them working really ruined it for it.if they made a version like the x-15 but with a better directional pad and 2 analog sticks, and google store support, it would be a great little handheld.

I like the form. I wonder if you can just take out the crappy guts and replace it with a decent chipset? Maybe rpi CM4 and a decent battery.

I'm going to get one of the 7 inch screen emulator handhelds soon. I've seen your channel do the most reviews of the various ones. Which one would you recommend? I would like it to allow SD cards and possibly adding games myself. I'm also not going to spend more than 50 dollars on it. I recently got one of the Gameboy style ones and the slightly bigger one with direction pad on one side and buttons on the other side. They both play NES roms mostly and they are stuck with what comes on them. Not complaining because the bigger one has almost a thousand games and I paid 3 dollars for it from Temu lol

And it's again the ATJ2279B, I knew it just from seeing the software, especially the settings menu. Well this one is not going to provide much power as it's a MIPS at 400 MHz or so with only 2D acceleration. Software could be improved though but unfortunately it's not open source. I was thinking of reverse engineering it but not sure I'll have the time and mood to do it.

They shouldn't have added the HDMI or that you can use controllers with it and just make a good handheld because really it looks good I would want one if it actually worked.

They should make 2bit hand held with out sound components. Color screen filter. And only two buttons and two button game. Make it as slime as possible. Break the wold record for slimmest hand held.

Marvel vs Capcom ps1 is my favorite game to play. I’ve owned the X12, and these devices play 2D ps1 games perfectly. They just don’t play 3D games well at all

had been curious about these devices for a few weeks abd was about to drop some cash on one . Then i heard that you can emulate PS1 on your phone. I just installed the PS1 emulator on my Samsung Galaxy A01, THis phone cost less than $60 dollars out the door. It is a cheep little Straight Talk phone. JUST two minutes ago got done downloading the N64 Emulator and the 5.9MB Mario 64 rom. It runs it just as smooth as snot. can someone explain why these systems cost so much and dont have half the functionality of my cheep straight talk phone. Just as an experiment please try the phone you have and tell me if it runs ok or not? mine runs Mario64 on an emulator pretty well and the the PS1 game called teken i think as smooth as it was in a playstation original. Straight Talk version of Samsung A01

The sad thing with these cheap handheld game systems they have trouble running Super Nintendo and the sad part is the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive is faster game console and the handheld consoles can play demanding games on the handheld console no problem. It doesn't make sense.

I have a cool baby handheld myself. This brand sucks, actually.

Touch screen on this is of no real use at all really. Same crap UI and performance. At least the Coolbaby RS18 and Powkiddy X2 have the newer UI where you can add boxart and change system icons.. but can be time consuming. Its a step in the right direction. But this one, no way. Skip it.
