Why was management out thee with Coles late at night with flashlights looking for cars to tow? I suppose they did it out of the goodness of their heart, Jennifer Lions the manager at the time is related to Coles.

I dated a girl who managed a apartment complex for years…and while I don’t agree with what this guy is doing…it gets absolutely crazy in those complex’s if the managers don’t stay on top of it. She almost lost her job twice when code enforcement showed up and wrote the complex a bunch of tickets for vehicles that were not completely legal.
Lets stop placing all of the blame onto the tow company and admit that this is begins and ends with the property management or manger period !!! The tow company is simply providing a service and paying the property management company a kick back. Let’s be honest and cut to the chase. The lawmakers made it possible !!
The law-abiding citizens in this complex left and are now living outside of the complex and causing the complex and towing company to file for bankruptcy.
I operate a towing service. I will tow cars out from apartment complexes. But I have the manager go to the apartment and lets face these people together, they don't like it but I won't tow unless the car owner, complex manager and myself are standing face to face.

In New Jersey and most other states, before any illegal parked cars get towed, the local law enforcement MUST witness the tow. Sign a release for tow. meaning that the police have to write down a ticket on that car. Then the car can be towed. Without the police, the tow company may be towing a stolen car and they are on the hook for possession of a stolen car. So Towers in NJ know not to do that.
