7th Dushanbe International Ethno Jazz Festival

In this video, we present the exhilarating Jazz Maqom performance, a unique collaboration of talented musicians from France, Germany, Italy, Greece, and Tajikistan. These virtuosos embarked on an extraordinary musical journey (music residency), fusing the genres of jazz and maqom music.
Organiser of the festival: Bactria Cultural Centre. The main donor of the festival: The government of Switzerland. Partners: German Embassy in Tajikistan, French Embassy in Tajikistan, US Embassy in Tajikistan, European Union in Tajikistan.
The festival provided a platform for musicians from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, and Tajikistan to come together and explore the boundaries of jazz.
