I LOVE the graphic novels! My kids will also be doing US History this year, and I have been struggling to figure out what I will do for my middle guy - because he has already listened in on the US History books we had done for my oldest a few years ago. I may have to look into those for him!

We are using TGTB 6 for my 7th grader as well. We are year round homeschoolers. Our year starts in July!

Can you explain how you test them for what level they would be for language arts? I'm a complete newbie and have only had my kids in public school.

The Good and the Beautiful has an assessment on their website. Its free! They really know what they're doing too bc my girls are EXACTLY where they should be even though I kinda thought they could go up a level. So I encourage you to use that assessment and put them where they land. Thank you for watching!!
