The song hits different knowing that, for many in the crowd, this may be the last time they can sing that song in their own city. Has a very nostalgia and sentimental feeling, even though it’s the present.
As an Oakland resident and A’s fan even the most homeless of oakland could afford to see the A’s every weekend. But yeah certainly so much nostalgia for a thing that will soon just be a memory.
@@ydawg8846the reason for the A's moving to Vegas is everything but attendance. Attendance is a result of an ownership that trades away their good players and wants to abandon the fans.
@@flexor212000 the owner has purposefully tanked a once great team to drive people away and claim they are the problem, before moving the team to Las Vegas. This was a 'reverse boycott' meaning fans tried to get as many people to come as they could to show that the people of Oakland still support the team, and are not the problem.
