7th lord in 6th is very true. Not many astrologers see it this way. For me this was the best interpretation, to the point. 16 years of marriage, 21 together, husband working extremely hard, away from home- seaman, 6 months away from home, 1 month home, 1 month away. Time together is intense in a good way, but frequent travel make it all the better. I have 7th lord in 3rd house. I’ve never heard an astrologer say that more communication could enhance the relationship but that’s exactly it. As soon as we started to communicate more, it saved the relationship. My spouse had general anxiety so he was afraid of everything. But when we opened the lines of communication I learned this about him and it made our relationship much much better. Lots of problems in the beginning but we are still best friends to this day because of communication.

However, I have a very basic doubt about finding the lord of the house itself. I am a Sagittarius ascendent with no planet in the 7th house, instead number 3 is mentioned in the 7th house. Does it mean that my 7th house is ruled by 3rd Rashi ( which is Gemini, and whose Lord is Mercury). So, should I be looking at the placement of planet Mercury in my chart ? There are many apps available where you can put in your DOB details and check out your kundali. 7th lord would be the number appearing in the 7th box ( right opposite lagna ) Example if you have 1 written in the 7th box that means Aries is your 7 house and Mars is the lord of 7th house. Similarly For 5 it's Leo and Lord would be Sun 4 - Cancer, Moon would be your 7th 10/11 - Capricorn and Aquarius respectively and lordship lies wz Saturn...and so on !
