Hi Sir, LMP 7 weeks 6 days, in ultrasound tvs it is 5 weeks 6 days. Mean sac diameter is 11.15mm(5W6D). Yolk sac 3.7mm. Embryo not visualized. No heart beat. They suggested for follow up scan in 2 weeks to check the embryo and viability. Kindly share your thoughts sir. PCOS is there and both ovaries show multiple small follicles arranged in periphery.

@@kashifultrasound Sir we went for the repeat scan and they confirmed that embryo visualized and heart beat of 161. There is small subchorionic fluid collection is there in the impression so doctor prescribed some medication. We have a follow up in next 2 weeks with the doctor. Thanks!
Hi, gestational age by lmp 7 weeks and 1 day. Mean sac diameter 12mm tiny yolk sac identified no foetal pole identified. Normal apperances of bilateral ovaries . No adnexal masses or free fluid. Anything to be worried about ? Still having pregnancy symptoms.
Hello, Doctor.. I went for my 1st scan yesterday. 13wks by LMP but the scan showed 7w5d, no heartbeat hence diagnosed as missed abortion.. is there no time allowance for me to wait and have another scan before we proceed to expel the fetus? I still can’t accept it… I have enlarged polycystic ovaries, bilateral; that is why I am having difficulty conceiving. I had miscarriage in my first pregnancy @6-8weeks. this is my 3rd pregnancy. I am G3P1. I hope you’ll reply to this, Dr. Thank you so much!
7+ wks G sac must hv alive fetal pole. Unnecessary wait increases complications and stress. Life is only given by God. Prey , give regular charity to deservings. God will give U next pregnancy. In pcos pts , early pregnancy sometimes needs hormonal cover. So in next pregnancy starting , consult a good senior gynecologist from the start.

I in IVF my ET at 21 june.tommorow i have done ultrasound,SRL is 2.3 cm paregancy is 5 week 5 days,but no cardic activity.docter said wait for 1 week otherwise it is missed abortion.kuch positive hoga sir..
This was miscarriage.. there was no visible cardiac activity and none on d mode either. Can I ask sir. In the case where an embryo is over 5mm is it very unusual to not see cardiac activity on tvus ? I have read a study of over 1000 women where 5.3mm saw all have cardiac activity if viable
Cardiac activity is present in fetus at 5w 4 or 5 days. But this video is about Abdominal and TVS ultrasound difference. If some technical problems fetal pole not properly visualized , instead of follow up , TVS is preferable.
@@kashifultrasoundthank you dr. Lastly can I ask.. at 6mm CRL, how many weeks and days is this? I have seen 6mm at 6.2 and 6mm at 6.5 days mentioned and I am not sure why. On babymed 6mm is 6.2 on hindwai its more like 6.6 IM confused
Hello sir, today i got my usg report which shows single fundal gestational sac.Single embryo is seen, no cardiac activity, decidual reaction is adequate....CRL: 12.4mm corresponding to 7 weeks 3days....no choriodecidual seperation noted...cervix is normal....pls suggest Dr advised to wait for 3-4 days
Why wait ? Is yr Dr not confident for ultrasound report. Unnecessary wait increases stress to pt. At 7 wks fetal pole , with no cardiac activity , is diagnosis of miscarriage. but ultrasound report should be by qualified Dr.
but mine was diagnosed as missed abortion right there and then, they did 3 ultrasound though to really confirm about the absence of heartbeat. I was advised to go back within this week for the expulsion of the fetus… It is heartbreaking, truly heartbreaking….

Foetal cardiac activity absent .foetal movement absent .chorionic reaction is good. LMP. 31_5-2025. Edd- 7-3- 2025 CRl- 1.0 cm 7weeks 1day Gs - 2.1 cm 6 weeks 2 days. Cervical length measures 2.9 cm. No heart beat doctor suggested me abortion we do what i will do please reply sir can wait 10days
sir usg shows g sac 26.9 mm age by lmp 9 weeks age by usg 7 weeks. No fetal pole or yolk sac seen. I have pcos. Doctor suggests another follow up scan after 10 days..
@Aartpage this depends how reliable yr scan is , a good TVS ultrasound is suggested for miscarriage, but a abdominal scan with low confidence may require follow up
