I love these plows 👍.. The fisher Extreme V and Extreme V2 are the best plows made in their class..Period.. I bought one the first year they came out like 13-14 years ago.. It was $5250.00 installed, out the door, tax included with a two season warranty.. nobody else had one cause they were new, expensive, and nobody wanted to take the plunge on something new with all those features.. well I did and it has been by far the best money I’ve ever spent on any piece of equipment..it’s more like an investment.. I changed the fluid and filter every year.. always checked and kept the fluid full... I power washed it after every time I used it to wash off the days and days of grime and salt caked on from plowing like a mad man.. spray it down with wd40 every now and then, keep all the connections greased, and spray some lube on all the moving parts... this plow has last me all this time and I’ve never even had to replace so much as a hose on it... not one thing ever except the cutting edge when needed, but no parts failures, has never broke down, or given me any problems whatsoever... all I’ve ever done is just what I’ve mentioned above to show it some love for being so faithful and dependable to me.. After you learn how to really operate one of these efficiently, everything else just seems to suck by comparison and you will never want anything else. I would recommend anyone thinking about getting one to definitely do it... and anyone that’s in a position to get one and looking into getting a plow to go this route and spend the money because it’s well worth it... they also hold their value 👍👍
Not as hard as it looks takes a day or two literally . Most people take more time to learn and trust the trucks mirrors and watching out for other vehicles around them .
I have the same plow and love it.Chateauguy is pronounced as, chat a guy, right? Northeast of Malone about 5 clicks south of the Canadian boarder. Been there when I was a kid. Nice country up there.
