In this video we will create a class that will manage the Jetpack DataStore.
Recently android team released this new library called Jetpack DataStore for saving data locally. Jetpack DataStore is meant to replace our existing SharedPreferences.
In this video you will learn how you can use Android Jetpack Datastore to save the user Access Token, that we got in the last video after a successful login.

I get this error on log cat, but program can run E/libc: Access denied finding property "ro.serialno" i dont know where its come from, but when I run your program nothing error. Any clue anyone ?

Hi Sir, Your video is awesome and very helpful. But API endpoint is not working, getting 405 error(Method not allowed). Basically Login method is POST type and I am calling the same but error is like that GET method is not allowed here

hi, i have question about datastore i have login activity that always shows before moving to another activity while using datastore to check for saved preferences, how to solved this? when i using shared preference that's never happen before thnks

Create a splash fragment or activity inside this activity put the code to identify current state and then open login or user screen accordingly This way user will first see the splash screen (as you see in almost all apps). Then user will go to either login or home screen.

I think you should first explain the difference between sharedPref and DataStore. Advantages of dataStore compared to sharedPref. Consider comparing the same with encryptedSecurepref as well. Keep up the good work
