Great points. My group does a small podcast and we constantly tell our small viewership the hunting industry is trying to sell you a product!! I reference your “tutorial segments” and encourage everyone to listen and implement your strategies. BECAUSE THEY WORK.

I’ve got a new hunting area that has not been seriously hunted before and there is a major deer trail right where my only access is I’ve thought about Egyptian wheat to funnel the deer away from this trail??

You should do a South Texas Brush country special! I feel like a few of these are hard to practice when your whole landscape is brush and mesquite and mostly flat.

Great stuff as always Jeff! For content have you thought about doing any updates from past videos to show off the progress of some of your habitat work? For example the screening that you had put in out in front of your house and along the road or from the "How to cut & create deer beds" video on your current Minnesota property from a couple of years ago.

I am just learning a new lease in VA. Your videos have helped me analyze the land. My season end January 6th. Getting closer and closer with every sit. And the lad owner may close the lease after this season. Guess ill have to start exploring public land for next year. Thanks for your wisdom.

Where in VA are you located? I lease a couple of properties near Blacksburg and may consider adding another quality minded hunter.

Hi Jeff..love your videos...quick question..we got 10 acres in pa.surrounded by game lands...not far from where you hunt when you go to pa...my family has hunted this area for years..I haven't been able to distinguish morning areas and evening ares..for the deer in our area we hunt...food source is evening yes...but food source is also EVERYWHERE lol..and as far as bedding ..it seems to be everywhere as well...we have cammed and studied the habits of deer for several years now with not much luck in finding...A distinct morning stand ..or a distict evening stand...its like the food source is so vast they just bed and feed everywhere so...idk what more to do..its not like we can say ok...in the am these deer are here....then ok in pm these deer are here....we've researched this and have not made any distinctive conclusions as to having a certain area be bedding...and a certain area be food...so..hence can't really determine morming/evening stands.....any advice or thoughts or insight or ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you for all your videos and helping all us viewers become better at what we want to do..

Your content is the best on the web. Can you please direct me to some of your experiences in lowland areas? I just bought some areas prone to spring flooding. I've planted red osier dogwood and transplanted several willow to create browse. Thoughts on Alsike Clover, Chicory on lowland areas? Thank you!

I watch all your videos. You’ve covered just bout every habitat type and situation. But what about in areas that get deep snow and the deer migrate south for the winter? Do the food plot/habitat design startegies change? Meaning, we are not holding deer on the property for the most part during winter. Not sure how many, if any deer return to the same area. I’m in the snow belt of the UP of Michigan

I want to start out by saying I love the content and appreciate everything you do to improve our hunts! I lease a unique piece of property in northeast Louisiana it’s roughly 550 acres on the Mississippi River. It floods every spring up to 10-30 feet and can potentially flood during the hunting season. My question is do you think a property like this is worth the investment? and do you think the deer pushed out due to flood waters come back to the same locations or do they set up elsewhere and the deer we hunt each year are different?

Hey Jeff, great video! We hunt in the central pa, where there's lot of ridges and hollows. Should we sacrifice a little food plot space for soft edges all around the plot? (I'm talking about maybe switchgrass and conifers)

How do I keep deer off of a food plot while it gets established, so they don’t eat it down to the ground and kill it?

@@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751I do think this would be a good topic that you have never touched on before regarding urban hunting because deer that live in the city are very demostcated and hard to kill because they will bed in peoples yards there is a lot of factors regarding hunting in city because they can also stay in cemetery’s as well

Could you compare and contrast deer habitat with black bear habitat in places like the U. P. of Michigan? I use my property in the U. P. mainly for bear hunting, and don't want to compromise that, but what changes for deer hunting would fall within those constraints?
