Good video. One bait you left out that I see a lot of PROs tie on is thw Zoom 7 inch June Bug. It is in my tackle and brings in a lot of bass. I fish it Texas style. 11 and half pounder.

You are right about color not being that bigof a deal. CONTRAST is more important. Some fish like Walleye, Bass and pike do not see all the colors like we do. And red disappears deeper than about 30 feet. It just looks grey deeper than that. There is a lot to it and far too much to put here.
@TylerBrinks

good point and I agree. Shades and contrast are the main thing and light vs dark.

Your list is “dead on”. I officiate pro tournaments and virtually all pro have these baits in the small day bait box on deck. The only one I will add is the jack hammer chatter bait frequently has a Yamamoto Zako as trailer

LOVED this. I know this may seem like a contradiction but more of this kind of video would be great. Maybe more narrowing down on lures but maybe more simplification strategies on gear? Techniques? Man, this kind of fishing is like grad school. With all due respect, when I heard about a $200 lure at a recent outdoor show, I cringed.

Is there a color that you would recommend for all water colors or situations. Basically, if you could only have one color in the boat, what would it be? Thanks again buddy for all the information.
@krispyk.1786
@krispyk.1786 4 месяца назад
white. easy to see in clear and dark condition. bone white IMO is the best- even when I'm fishing around schooling perch, the bass will still bite a bright white minnow.
@TylerBrinks

Like @krispyk.1786 said, white is good. White and black both show up great in all waters and solid colors can be great

Any kind of worm will get multi species. Caught a little 3 1/2” Red breast on a 5” senko and a 6/0 Texas rig offset worm hook. Made for a hilarious picture.

Not many actually! Most use the jackhammer instead. But, have seen the Booyah Covert, War Eagle, and Berkley ones
@AngryOtter614

@@TylerBrinks I tend to fish spinnerbaits more because it's just hard for me to keep it down in the water column. I should probably put a combo together with a 6:4.1 ratio for throwing chatters.
@TylerBrinks
@TylerBrinks 3 месяца назад
Good call with the slower reel. Smaller trailers, lighter line and a 3/4oz chatter would help with that too.

Primarily Texas rigged with a Rebarb style hook. Owner Cover Shot and Gamakatsu with tin keeper are two popular ones
