Hello, I am so glad a RCI Ranger version is made.I installed a chasis mount mini XLR input and I have modfied a inexpensive studio mic with 34mm capsule. What excellent EQ's all versions, and very good upgrade from using Astatic amplified mics for years.
I don't know what version I have its older but I LOVE IT!!!!!! I won't run my CB without it. I got it used at a shop and run an 8AA battery pack inside to power. Now all the guys around have one too cause I sounded so good.
I wish you had a USA distributor. I have a Kenwood TS-480sat. I am wondering if I would need to get "wall wart" power supply, or could the EQ be powered off of the radio "phantom power" because that would be better for me.
The DSP on ic7300 is enough an second dsp infront the first dsp is not a solution, and we have HF on table don't wire some parts on the hot chassis. For Voice u are in range of 500hz to 8000 hz. This is only the range from dynamic microphones, an electret can't handel this .
@@mlencioni1 Server, sorry I don't know the 7300 that well, maybe it needs some audio help. I've used 746 pro, 7700, and the 7800 with just the bass and treble and it sounded GREAT with the Heil PR 40.
@@radioman6489 I have the Heil PR781 and am looking at getting the 8 band with the noise gate, looks like it would give me the control I desire, the echo, while it seams like a waste on this unit for a ham rig, it should prove to be useful in certain ham shacks that need some help in a room that acoustically is flat. thank you for the response.
Hello First of all thank you for your demonstration and thank you for your product. I have a Version 5 for UR6QW 8 band Eq and i have a little question. Is it the same configuration for essb ? Best 73's and good Dxing
