8 causes of flicker in stop-motion and how to avoid them | Dragonframe stop-motion tutorial 

Great video! Thanks for doing this. There are a couple things we would like to clear up. Number 2 is not a glitch in the program! Those images are coming directly from your camera's live view. The camera is producing the flicker. Dragonframe does not add that. After sorting out your lighting, reflections, etc, the most common cause of flicker is the aperture on your lens. If you look directly in your lens, you will see that your camera keeps the lens wide open until you shoot, then closes it while capturing, then opens back up. Tiny changes in the aperture value from shot to shot are the main cause of flicker. We cover this on our site. That is why most studios use fully manual aperture lenses (with a locked aperture ring).

Hey, I've been having problems with Dragonframe exporting in high res. Low res looks fine with no flicker, but high has a ton of flicker and I cannot understand why.
