Kid Icarus getting a new game in 2010 was a real wild moment, specifically when it came to the game's surprise announcement. Donkey Kong Country Returns being revealed in the same show got a pretty wild applause, but Kid Icarus was a different scenario. This was basically a Half-Life 3/Duke Nukem Forever scenario where it became a running gag prediction. When it actually happened, things got wild.

Reggie in that thumbnail looks like "WAKE ME UP! I CAN'T WAFFLE UP! SAVE MEEE!"

If Nintendo actually had a conference this year, I feel like the Breath of the Wild reveal would've been one of the most insane E3 reactions of all time.

I miss the days of Nintendo's regular conferences. Even though they talked a lot about boring stuff. We got to see a lot more of Reggie, Miyamoto, and others back then. Now it's just a trailer that they force people to wait until E3 to watch. It's just not the same.

Nintendo's 2004 conference is still the best to this date. Sony's 2015 is up there though. It was almost like a fanfic (Last Guardian, FFVII Remake, and Shenmue III)

While I loved the "299" announcement, it's strange they didn't mention the "How to share games on PS4" moment, ripping on XBone's harsh limits on used games.

Sony probably did the same thing to what they did to the Sega Saturn to the XBox one in E3 of 2013. After the Microsoft conference they reveled it was going to cost 499 then later that E3 Sony announced that their PS4 would cost 399 and everyone lost it.
