Bloody brilliant mate. Throughly enjoyd it. Amazing footage, great editing and so many hints and tips. Absolutely loving the channel mate. By far my favourite cod vids on the tube. Cheers 😁
So thankful for your cod vlogs. Sitting here in iso for 14 days is made bearable thanks to the great work you do. I especially love the down to earth way you fish, essentially a bloke, a rod, a boat, a swag and some water. No techno crap! I fish/camp in a very similar way just without the success you have, that said, only been doing it for a couple of years. A great follow up to the last surface vlog you did where you didn’t stick many, just shows you need to keep putting in the hours. Thanks again and keep up the outstanding work Lublin.
What a great trip. I was surprised you didn’t get more, but I guess you were targeting the big fish. Maybe I can get down there and do something similar one day.
Nice work Lubin, I've been running 80lb on the surface for a couple of years, after watching this I might have to up it to 100 ...... Thankks for sharing :)
Well done Lubin, another great trip on the Murray and some ripper fish again. Unreal footage a fantastic watch. Great part of the world thanks for making us forget about COVID for an hour or so 👍
You are a bloody legend lubin, got home from work, the misses is working late, grabbed a beer and snacks and sat on the lounge, best hour an half of viewing, the wanker can have big brother this is real life...👍👍
An absolutely epic video. Thank you so much. Was so good to see how much effort you put in and the rewards you reap from it. One of my most favourite videos of all time. Congratulate 👏👏👏
Finally finished watching the vlog in my third session. Really interesting fishing mate. I notice you take the fishing to next level every time. What an adventure mate. Keep up your wild adventures 👍🏽
That was amazing. A lifetime of big cod in a week. A bit like GT popping as you don’t tend to get busted off on the top water eats compared to the Deeper ones.
Amazing bro what a perfect video 👍Iv spent a few hours on the Murray in my younger years it’s looks still a rewarding if you put in the hours at peak times ! Congratulations on some amazing cod ! But it all the adventure that makes it all worthwhile! I used to use the old jitterbug and some I built lol congratulations again cheers 🇦🇺🍻👍🍻✌️
Brought the balista tremor due to you're video mate, 2nd cast in got smashed in Albury missed the hook up and not another hit for the rest of the day but yeah look, I'm a fan of that flash now.
super video i was going to watch it in 2 parts but i could not stop it and watched right through i watched the cod bust up the 80lb 3 times it was a big cod but it broke off at the top of the water so i don't know what happened there that lure looked like it was brand new but the same one with the paint of it did the job just as good looking forward to seeing more videos 1000% for effort as always
Mate , you have got my wife to start fishing .. We use to catch cod in the ovens river in Wangaratta .Hopefully we will go where you are fishing in S.A .Love your videos and so enjoyable to watch .. keep safe mate .
Excellent loved it...2 thumbs down for what reason I think they want the cod to come through the tv and hit them in the face.. Keep up the good work mate two thumbs up 👍👍
I’ve heard muskies can be the fish of a thousand casts as well! Really love cod fishing and the places it takes you, they fact they are so hard to catch just makes each one all the more rewarding.
Wow, that was probably the longest RU-vid video I’ve ever watched but it was awesome. I have a love hate with cod. The only fish that I’ve put in weeks of effort for one or two fish.
Great river trip mate. The best native fishing video I have seen In a while. Can’t say I have seen the surface lures before where do you get them from? Keep up the great work 👍🇦🇺🍻
look for a place where there is a fallen tree, or stuck in the middle of the river, always the big one is under the side, always the one that is not deep, Basar fish want depth
Hey Lubin, I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and have been binge watching ever since. I'm so inspired I went out and bought the Okuma rod and reels, the balista tremors, I'm all in. I also bought a motorized kayak that I can roof top! Thank you for all you've shared and all you've put in to your content, it will grow and grow I'm sure. Also, not sure you reply to comments or not, but I'm heading to the Murray to fish a bit east of Echuca for a week in December. Would you focus on casting tremors that time of year, or spinbaits, hard bodies? All the above? Big thanks. Hoping to land my first big cod. Thanks again for all your work. The bill fish this week were NUTS too! Love your work.
Hi Alfred, great to hear you found and are enjoying the channel! With the flow that’s around at Echuca I’d probably be fishing surface early and late, then probably a big diving lure during the day 👍🏻
Another great vid Lubin. Youre very diligent in working the lure right to the boat, even though in 8 days all your strikes were within a few metres of the snag - wouldn' it be more efficient to whip it in once youre 5metres off the snag and cast again?
Grouse video! Me and my dad kicked back and watched the whole thing dreaming that we would get onto one of those monsters one day. Just wondering what part of the Murray this was on? Thanks
HEY mate loved this im up in QLD would love to do a trip like this wondering if you could steer me in the right direction there is plenty of fish where i am but not the same water as to do a few days as you have done here thanks
Hi mate just wanting to know what is the best time of year to do that kind of a week long drift and how many kilometres of river in total? I am planning to do a trip like that and would really appreciate some advice regarding the stretches of water to drift through. Any info is much appreciated and great video I enjoyed the content. Thank you.
Hey bud… Sitting at home with Covid at the moment and thought I’d rewatch ya vid for the hundredth time 😝 What size solar blanket are you using? Does it keep the batteries charged up well?
Great to hear you enjoy it mate! I use a 200w panel and as long as you have some good sun it puts a fair bit back in to the batteries. Definitely helps on extended missions
