No one! I just can't watch the others, I want to visit and chk out Ecuador, living there, I keep hoping these two will vlog it, instead of referring to other channels.
@@oneseeker2 we read your comment :) We really appreciate that you enjoy our videos so much! Unfortunately our specialty is making adventure travel videos, not logistics and informational living videos. We just don’t have time to do both! But we are hoping to make an e-book one day about Ecuador so maybe that will help you :)
I took the next step of my dream of visiting Galápagos after reading, and then collecting literature from naturalist-minded companies. Then I realized there might also be some blogs, so I could see more opinions. This was the first video I saw. I LOVE that you’re both so excited to be there - almost as excited as I’d be. After watching your videos from other places, I see that enthusiasm throughout. I’ve since watched Galápagos videos by other people, and most are at least pretty good, some very good, but I feel that very few are up on your level. Thank you so much for doing all this, it must be an incredible amount of work!
If you have the time, I showed up to the Galapagos with no cruise booked. I found a last minute deal for 450 bucks, 4 nights and 5 days. It was a smaller boat with a only 16 passengers.
Great video guys. I went to Las Islas Galapagos with my fellow Biological Honor Society members in the 10th grade. My h.s. was in the former Canal Zone in The Republic of Panama. VERY COOL PLACE....absolutely loved it. Have fun, and make good use of that huge BED in your room....if you know what I mean! lol 🤣😂🤣😂
Hey guys - I loved all these videos so much that I ended up booking my Galapagos trip with Royal Galapagos - I'm currently in the Amazon and head out on the boat next week! Thanks for sharing your experience it really helped me plan my trip 😊
Your travel vlogs are very refreshing and enjoyable. In particular, this one is outstanding! What a wonderful opportunity to partake in such a small ship cruise through these islands! You have whetted our appetite for not only exporing these islands, but Ecuador in its entirety as well….regards from Orillia, Ontario.
So glad you are doing this in three parts. So much to see and so much great footage you must have. It was extra special for us that your last three videos, Mindo, Amazon and now Galapagos are nature focused. You guys touch our souls weekly. Sad your leaving Ecuador but excited for your next adventure...
That would be quite long! But I’m sure it would be incredible. We felt 8 days was definitely enough to see what we wanted to. The only major advantage would be to make it out to some of the farther islands. Just give yourself space to skip some of the tours - 2-3 landings and 1-2 snorkels per day for 15 days would be a lot! But depends what the itinerary looks like too 😂
Great intro for the Galapagos. We are heading there at the end of October for 10 days. Do you have any recommendations about the wetsuits? Did the ship have enough for everyone in the proper sizes? Or should we rent the wet suits in Quito? Our cruise is for 16 people and pretty much the same itinerary. Just FYI we are also going to Cuyabeno Reserve after our trip to the Galapagos. We watch your video on the Cuyabeno Reserve and it opened our eyes and validated our decision to visit this incredible place. Did you by chance, on your way to Cuyabeno, go to the hot springs? Thanks for your videos, keep it up. Marlene
Hi Marlene! So cool you’re going to the same places! Galapagos and Cuyabeno are still some of our all time favourite experiences!! 😊 Our cruise ship had plenty of wetsuits of every size available but you could email your cruise to double check! As for hot springs, we didn’t go to any on our way to the Amazon. But we did visit Papallacta outside of Quito for a day! You can watch that here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uyKWCFnqNnw.html
Great video. how did you get the cruise. negotiating at the harbour. how much was it, pls details. and which month do you recommend according to sea conditions, clearness and temperature?
This is such a great video! What an amazing boat too 😍 I notice you had trekking poles to climb the volcano, were they your own, or were they lent to you? Just wondering if it's worth packing them for my travels around South America in January. Many thanks in advance 😊
The cruise boat had trekking poles we could use! Eric did end up buying hiking poles while in South America because his knee was injured so if you’re doing a lot of hiking it might be a good idea otherwise most places have rentals :)
A little bit, but honestly wasn’t much of an issue. Most of the time when we moved through rough water was at night, so you can sleep through it easily.
It was our first time too! There were maybe two times when it was pretty wavy and Sarah felt a bit dizzy. But took a nausea pill and went to sleep and all was well! Our boat mostly only moved during the night so we’d sleep through the moving :)
I M glad that you guys had a wonderful time visiting ecuador.come again,we l be glad that people like you guys come to visit ecuador.By the way canada is my second country and a love it.
This cruise ranges from $3500-7000 per person. Depends on room, time of year, demand and when you book :) There are also cheaper, less luxury boats available as well.
Hi guys, you two are a lovely couple. 😍 It's such a joy watching your 😍 beautiful video. My huzband and I did this same trip in 1983. It has been almostly 40 years ago. I would ❤ to go back and recapture Galapagos in style like yours. We spent 10 cruising around the Island days along with 3 other couples ( UK, USA, Holland, and US from Canada 🇨🇦) plus our boat crew of 3 people to take care of us. Please tell us how can we find the price for this 10 days you spent in the Galapagos, with the same company you both cruised and this magnificent bedroom ❤ 5 stars treat...🌟 🤩 👏 🙀👏 🙀. Would you guys be able to tell us how much you guys paid ?Please !!!!!!
Love the footage, again. You do such a great job capturing the beauty of the landscape and in the water. Did you use a filter at all on the GoPro for the underwater shots?
because Tortoise live 150 years, should we expect God meant man to live longer? with our brain capacity of thousand of thousand years . the Gannets Dive! Now you are Ecuadorian as any , seen much more than most Ecuadorians
Seriously i can say one thing. You both speaking in English, then why do you giving English subtitles here? It's totally, covering you're beutiful video. Please, avoid it. You're video, presentation and editing all department is very good. But you are not gained that reach.. It's only because of this thing. I am sure.. 🙏 Go ahead
We don’t have subtitles on our videos (unless for sections when the audio is hard to hear). If you’re seeing subtitles, then you have captions turned on for RU-vid and can choose to turn that off :)
