Now that is a lot of Tea!!!! Tea Culture there is no joke for sure. Gokce knows her Tea. I need caffeine in my tea. Those clothes are no joke but would have loved to see both of you in that fresh gear for sure.
Oh no! Turkce altyazi eklemistim cikmiyor mu?
Arabian tea house is definitely a place where we will visit for sure if we ever make our way to Dubai. Really keen to try traditional Emirati food after watching this video 👌🏻
Ohhh the tahta laham looks absolutely delicious! Mint lemonade and fresh bread too - what a feast, guys! Nice that you saved this meal for a separate night to fully enjoy
The old part of Dubai looks beautiful! It's probably so easy to pass by that part of the city when you have the all the fancy new buildings there too. All the different Souks looked so fun to walk around! The Coffee Museum would DEFINITELY be my favorite stop haha
Yay! street cats!! Maria said that lol Camel milk ice cream!? My curiosity keeps on growing lol. Oh No! a coffee museum. Didn't know it existed and now I know where I have to keep Maria from 😂
Seriously, if you blindfolded us and gave us "regular" ice cream and camel milk ice cream we would have no idea. Apparently older generations drank camel milk all the time, who knew. Its a small little one, even as a coffee lover its not more than an hour tops haha! 😂
Great finally saw some original Dubai food here...most of the other RU-vidrs did little research and end up introducing Indian food as traditional Dubai food 🙈 visiting Dubai this December and trying to list authentic food to try there
Hahaha yeah we are also confused why they do that because UAE has so much to offer and they have their own delicious food! December is a perfect time to visit you will love it there! Enjoy!
I think Old Dubai looks a lot more interesting than the glitz and glam of modern Dubai. Very interesting to watch, imagine going back when travel isn't restricted and experiencing those same markets shoulder to shoulder!!
Right! We're really glad we took our time to and explore it... most "guides" say to maybe spend a day there on a trip to Dubai, but that is a big mistake, so much to see, 1 day wouldn't be enough.
@@TravelInteresante it might be our style to do the opposite to what the guides always say 😂 but thats really go to know, we'd love to see Dubai when we can
Wow! that ride at sunset on the water looks amazing. Now I miss the sunset ferry rides in Istanbul 😥... Love the day-to-night transition, but what was that he poured into your hand? Love the look and feel of the old town. Great video guys😀
There definitely is something about being out on the water at sunset... it even almost makes the Staten Island ferry tolerable... almost 😂 It was some type of rose water that they make in house... they were so friendly at Arabian Tea House loved our time there (and the food!). Thanks so much!
A wonderful vlog G+S! You consistently set a high standard and then keep exceeding it. We admire all the effort you put into exploring places on a deeper, authentic level. Great coffee and exotic teas spill over beyond borders and barriers. Also, we couldn't help notice how quiet Steve got in the gold soul - perhaps a technical fault? LOL! Looking forward to the next installment.
Thank you so much Scott, we really appreciate you saying so and all your kind words! Dubai is so much more than what you see in the typical 4-5 day itineraries and we were glad we got to see more of it! Haha, keep quiet and hope Gokce keeps moving along? ;)
All of the food looked really tasty. The camel burger looked interesting, the tea house meal looked good too. Great to see Old Dubai and the market area. I'm always a fan of shawarma 👌
We can so relate to the Gökçe look of disappointment when hearing there was no caffeine in the tea. It seems like we live on it lately. We obviously would LOVE the coffee museum. So cool to see the different coffee machines over time. I was surprised to see how inexpensive food can be in Dubai and also how much they use camel in their cuisine. Makes sense I guess, as cows probably don't do too well in the desert. I'd love to try the burger and the ice cream!
Yesss coffee for life! You would really love the coffee museum then, they do refills too! We chose some cheap eats to try to have an affordable experience in such an expensive city :) Both the camel burger and the ice cream were super delicious!
Do as the locals do... (or try to anyways haha)! Wasn't expecting to try camel milk ice cream, but yea if you made us do a blind taste test we couldn't tell the difference between it and regular cow milk!
It looks like people in Dubai are so friendly! They treat you guys like a king (and queen). It is sad indeed to see the market with less people during corona times 😕 Hope the situation will get better and better once we are all fully vaccinated.
They loved Gokce of course, but overall a lot were glad we were there because it has been a tough year for them and they were happy to welcome visitors. Totally agree, fingers crossed it is sooner than later for all.
If you want to try one of the cool street foods in dubai then you should try: - cafeterias in general in Rashideya area - bait al chai in Rashideya - wagafi bread from irani small bakery in Rashideya
Ohhh so much camel!!! Would love to try !! That tea shop was so cool!! So many teas love seeing the different teas!! Loved the wee camel!! Get saving for that diamond 🤣🤣 haha the clothes so much gold!! Foots love a coffee and what a great place a museum!!! Love the old machines!! Great video guys!
Haha, got to make use of what is available right? 😂😉 She already has hers back at home, but I guess now we need to get a second one lol. Thanks so much!
Camel burgers, camel milk ice cream...sounds really strange 😅 but we’d definitely try it as well!! Oooh...coffee museum 🥰 that’s so cool! Yay that you also get to taste the coffee! We love samosas 🤗 the ones you got looks delicious! How cool that you go to see the sunset on a boat. The harees looks really interesting. Your waiter is so cool! Shawarmas!!! Yum...one of Craig’s favorites! Thanks for showing us old Dubai guys, it looks really amazing!
I was so excited about the coffee museum, it was indeed so interesting to see historical coffee makers from different countries. Our waiter was the best, we really got lucky with him!
I would love to try a camel burger and camel milk ice cream. I can't believe it tastes similar to beef...it doesn't have any gamey flavor to it at all? The coffee museum would be so fun to visit...how cool the arabic coffee comes with dates, seems like an interesting pairing. Your dinner at the Arabian teahouse looked amazing - the harees, falafels, and lamb dish all look delicious!
It was definitely chewy and gamey, and unexpectedly super delicious. Hope you get to try one day! Dates are very huge in UAE, Muslims usually break their fast in Ramadan with it too.
Whoohoo guys, we so happy you on Chapter 3 :) Dubai is so high on our list. Oh my goodness Camel Burger - now that is super unique. When we think of Dubai, we defs think of the modern world with beautiful skyscrapers, thank you for showing us more of what we normally see of Dubai. Zero caffine tea is a winner especially while I am pregnant, would love to try that tea for sure. We excited to see the rest of Dubai :)
It is so worth a visit, we liked it a lot more than we were expecting and there's a lot more to do than the generic 4-5 day itineraries you see online! Yes, no caffeine drinks have their place, but of course Gokce's number 1 priority is finding a drink that can wake her up in the morning! 😂 Can't wait to share more!
So happy you were able to go international after being in turkey so long. Few thought, camels, never thought you are out or made over cream from its milk don't know why not but it's interesting and we would try both. Love everything coffee so we'd have so much fun in a coffee museum, trying to master oour pour overs and yea... that sunset boat 👌
Camel burger!? That sounds interesting 🍔 and sounds really good from your reaction! We have never been to Dubai and I think we'll have to try this burger when we go 😄
We loved Dubai when we went, this side of Dubai looks so different, we didn't try any fancy teas though, strawberry & Raisin tea sounds really good! Love that diplomacy Gökçe on the coffee, "I like it, I'm not in love with it, but I like it!" 😂 The Harees looked so good, looked kind of like Hummus, the waiter seemed so super friendly in that place too 😊
It was like, I don't mind drinking it when I need some coffee, but wont go out of my way to drink it :) Harees does look like a hummus, but the taste is so different!
So glad you guys are back to traveling internationally again! Did you have to do a quarantine in Dubai? I would definitely give that camel burger a try. Looks so good! Good job eating your way through the city! We look forward to seeing the camel ride next week!
LOL, Coffee Museum. Last time we went a Coffee Trip - Kuai Coffee Tour, we ended up only drinking Kuai Coffee. How was the coffee? Was it strong? Such a fun trip. So pretty there.
Camel Burger, I'm not sure that is something I could do. I feel like there is a glitch in the matrix, this was up not too long ago, right. Making sure I'm not going crazy. Or if I'm just dreaming Travel Interesante. I just want to make sure to come back and re-support your amazing channel.
Hahaha you are the best! You are not going crazy, we posted it yesterday but due to some technical problems we re-posted it. Thanks for your support as always!
I went over there, my opinion, the food is not great. Ordered the Harres and the falafel. The harees was very cold, not worm, refrigerator cold, the falafel, I will give it 4 out of 10.
