Unfortunately after 2016 ended I stopped playing pokemon go, and to this day it’s one of my biggest regrets, I missed so much on such a fun game just because it was a “trend” to hate on it 💀 but, I did manage to snag a mimikyu pikachu which I’ve been very happy about and have been back into the game the last few months and have been enjoying it a lot, so thank you mystic for helping my gameplay 🤝

I believe that Shadow Mewtwo will make a comeback. But as for Armored Mewtwo, the chances are low(mainly due to what it historically means to POGO).

This brought back the pain that was accidentally sending my shiny sunglasses squirtle to the candy grinder 😩😩

I have a mimikyu pickachu that is listed as having been caught through special research just this May. Now I've been lazy with some research so it's very likely that it was from the 2019 event, but it makes it semi-unique that way! :)

Armoured Mewtwo should return with its own focused event: Shiny version gets released, Appearing in 5-star raids again, Shadow version with Giovanni, can trade Shadow Pokemon during event. Sounds awesome.

mimikyu pikachu was also spawning in the wild during the 2020 halloween event and was part of special research in 2021 :)

I have most of these, but I really wish they'd do the clone starters that came with the Armored Mewtwo event again. I missed those and I'm still mad I did. They really should do more second chance stuff for limited pokemon in like Go Fest or something.

The original shiny sunglasses Squirtle was a blast for a special reason. To get sunglasses Squirtle, you had to complete research tasks, and players quickly realized that the shiny encounters were not "random"; They were assigned to specific pokestops, meaning that all players completing the research task from one of the those pokestops would get a shiny encounter reward. Social media platforms used by players were very active that day with players calling out the pokestops in their towns where a guaranteed shiny could be encountered.

Interesting that you didn’t mention the clone starters that also came out originally with armored mewtwo

I wonder if and hope the Clone Charizard, Blastoise, and Venasuar will make a return! Sadly I only have the Charizard :/

Another one which I have that I am sure MYSTIC7 does not have: The first ever Rayquaza. On 2/9/2018, there was one Rayquaza raid that randomly released in Marymoor Park, which is located in Redmond, Washington, United States. This happened one day BEFORE all other gyms around the world ever saw Rayquaza in raids. There were so many trainers there, and I, of course, live in Washington, so I went there with friends as well. I not only ended up catching it, but the Rayquaza I have is also a perfect 4*. Next to my other exclusive things I have, this was my best catch in Pokémon GO history.

I love how half of these have return just in 2023, and as of writing this we’re only halfway through the year. Squrtle: Returned for Squrtle Classic CD Shiny Mew: You we’re able to buy the ticket for the research (if you missed out the first time) Shadow Mewtwo: Debunked Shadow Raids, you could also get a shiny shadow mewtwo now. Lugia: Not really sure if that Lugia is special besides the date, but Lugia was in raid this year. And like I said, it’s only august as of writing this. The Halloween Pokémon’s have a fair chance of returning. Armored mewtwo could return, not sure how but i wasn’t expecting Ed Sheeran event so who knows. The hat pikachu is the only one I don’t see ever coming back.

I remember when raids became a thing in 2017/2018 Then our area gyms started becoming ex raids in mid 2018/2019 Was super hyped to get an ex raid pass and get my Mewtwo🥳

2 things. 1: wow, I didn’t know fragment hat pikachu was so rare, I actually have a shiny of him! 2: I think surfing pikachu (shiny or non shiny) should’ve been in there because it was the first ever community day and you could’ve gotten a shiny pikachu with a move you can never get again. I happen to have 2 shinies myself.

I remember that Squirtle com day! I got one of my coolest flexes from that day! A hundo sunglasses Squirtel! (Now Blastoise)

Another rare issue that Niantic changed was the changing ivs every 90 mins with possibilities for shinies on shadows. I have shiny absol and and stantler just by going back and checking the stops. Sadly they changed it and the ivs stay the same the entire day

Mimikyu costume Pikachu returned during the 2020 Halloween event

I think you missed one, there was the mistake Lugia that only showed up for like first few minutes on May 14 of 2018 when the 5 star raids were supposed to switch over from Latios to Ho-Oh but instead they ended up being Lugia for the first raid eggs that hatched. I’m guessing someone at Niantic messed up lol

I really want them to release Armored Mewtwo again.

Armor Mewtwo is the most painful one, No remote raid passes existed back then I could never raid since I had no friends irl, I was lucky to at least get clone charizard lol. The fact Armor Mewtwo has different moves and stats though is wild, It's not just a costume Pokémon, It's like it's own unique thing, And apparently good in PVP which makes it even more painful to not have one and be always matched against it lol-

I was lucky enough to catch a Lugia and Shadow Mewtwo, so I am very happy to have them! I hope that some of these do return in the future since I didn't get the chance to catch all of them during a couple of events

When detective hat Pikachu released it was shiny-locked BUT if you saved 1 encounter until the event was over, and if you were lucky to get it shiny, that is the rarest Pokémon.

Back in November 2021, during the Ed Sheeran event, I was Iucky enough to come across shiny Sunglasses Squirtle, and it continues to be the rarest shiny in my GO collection. Others include my shiny Scarf Lapras from research (with perfect stats in both Defense/Stamina), and a normal Mimikyu hooded Pikachu from research as well!

I've been waiting for Armored Mewtwo to return for a very long time. Never had the opportunity to get one. Now that Remote Raid passes are a thing, I would actually have a chance.

Of these eight, I have six. Only ones missing being Shiny Mew and the first Legendary raid. Shiny Mew - I worked all through the event where it was released as retail/food service managers don't get to take time off for hobbies... First Legendary raid - couldn't afford cost of travel however, I do have shiny Mimikyu Pikachu, shiny Halloween/Cubone Charmander, Halloween Bulbasaur, Halloween Squirtle, shiny thunderbolt hat/fragment Pikachu.

I Played Pokemon Go So Much During That Time That The Hat Pikachu Came Out, But I Didn't Think It Was Good, So I Unfortuonately Caught None.

I had shiny pikachu with this cap, but I was begginer and evolved it into raichu. Still love this one and have it as buddy, but I regret evolving it sometimes

I have Armoured Mewtwo, Sunglasses Squirtle, Mimikyu Pikachu, Costume Gengar and Fragment Hat Pikachu (no shiny though). I don't have Shiny Mew yet but I have the research. I also don't have "the first legendries" given you had to be at paid events to travel. Even a normal Shadow Mewtwo would be nice, I just haven't been strong enough to take down the team leaders to get to Giovanni.

I got my armored mewtwo thanks to a series of luck based events, so glad I was into raiding at that point. Oh I also have that super rare Pikachu hahaha

The Gofest i sadly missed, buying the ticket did just not work for some reason on my phone, had a lot of trouble with Apple in general back then. I also saved a Giovanni radar because i got already one copy of the other shadow pokémon. Also weather boost does work on his pokemon which gives shadow Mewtwo a big boost in CP.

Funny story, I found my old phone. I use to play with Pokémon Go a few years ago, and the account still going. Luckily I was able to catch a few Pikachu. (around 10) now I just need to transfer them. If I didn't see your video, probably I would have delete them completely

I can’t believe I didn’t get into Pokémon go when it first came out. My phone back then didn’t have the best battery so I just kinda stopped playing.. here I am 6 years later having a blast playing and wishing I had kept up with it then.. all the stuff I’ve missed in game ;.;

You should also add the apex legendaries (Ho-Oh and Lugia). They were only obtained from the paid special research from the Johto tour

you can get any of these on ebay... they are like 10 dollars each and have to be friends for 30 days, the sellers send you a gift every day for 30 days then transfer the mon to you for 80k stardust. you can get ANY of these pokemon.

I hope Armoured Mewtwo comes back along with all the Clone Pokémons, also have them all available as shiny, they should bring some of these for special events and such, so yeah

The last time Shadow Mewtwo came out was in January of 2021 and that was my first ever shadow Mewtwo in Pogo, and first ever Mewtwo overall, Ironically. A month later is when the Kanto Tour happened and started raining for regular Mewtwo for the first time and got my first shiny out of that event. I started actually playing in September of 2020. I had the account since July of 2016 but didn't start actually playing hard till September of 2020

I remember last year it was my birthday and I hadn’t really been playing Pokémon go so I decided to get on real quick and check how it was doing, and the first spawn was a Squirtle Squad Squirtle

I have 8 lugia and 1 shiny lugia, 6 giratina’s with 1 shiny, 3 tapu fini’s, 1 tape bulu, and 2 Latios with one shadow. 1 melloetta, 1 victini, 11 darkrai’s, a mew, a shiny mew, shiny celebi, 1 meltan, 2 melmetals, 4 moltres and 2 zapdos

More mons not mentioned- Clone Pokemon. Aka from "Mewtwo Strikes Back" and there was Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur clones, as well as Spikey eared Pikachu (clone Pikachu). I got one of the Pikachus, but missed out on the rest because no one around me was doing raids in person (since it was during Covid) and idt remote raids were out yet. Missed out on some cool mons that way. ;-; But I do have an Armored Mewtwo, the costumed Gengar, sunglass squirtles and full line shiny, a few Mimikyu Pikachu, and two of the Thunderbolt Pikachu- because for a promotional Pikachu, its spawn rates were low and very hard to find in the wild.

I have a ton of those fragment hat pikachus because I was in Sitges Spain. So not only is it rare but it's also a travel souvenir.

I do have the mimikyu Pikachu, glad I did the Kanto Tour as I do have shiny Mew as well, I also have a costume Gengar

I didn't even realize that shadow mewtwo was rare, i have a normal mewtwo, a shiny one and a shadow one.

You don't have to be in Chicago to catch Lugia, you can get them through the legendary research breakthrough, which sadly, is canceled

I got all of the exclusive Pokemon but the first Lugia when released. Unfortunate I wasn't able to go the Pokemon Go Fest when they were first held. Out of all the costume Pikachu (including the one in the video) none are shiny :( until the recent hat Pikachu.

You said in your last video that it'd be really rare to catch a shiny birthday hat pikachu.....its the first pikachu I caught during the event. I also have the costumed gengar, shadow mewtwo, the mikiyu pikachu, alongside the Halloween starters excluding charmander. I wish I hadn't hopped off this game for years I could have caught so many more cool pokemon

I have a shiny Fragment hat Pikachu and a few non shiny, Halloween Costume Gerngar, I don't have the Lugia from 2017 Go Fest, but I have the Articuno 98 IV, Armored Mew two, 2 Shadow Mewtwos, Shiny Mimikyu Pikachu, Shiny Sunglass Squirtle from 2018 (a few), Shiny Mew of course!!!

In 2019 I did one armor mewtwo raid and had it flew from me. Never picked up the game for almost 2 years after that and come to find it’s now a relic. Biggest regret playing this game

I also got all three evolutions of squirtle (with shiny versions) with the sunglasses too.. I traded some away, but luckily kept at least one of each.. I remember that was a hectic community day..

Cought Lugia in Febuary 2019 (Denmark) and a couple of armored Mewtwo's aswell ^^

I played for about a year straight every week. Back when Vaporeon was op amd gym battles where tiered. My only happiness is seeing my Vaporeon with 980 battles in gyms. 3 star amd it was my first evolution so I hit the jackpot back when we had no idea about not all pokemon are the same.

Fun fact about Mew: it was never Shiny before, there was only one time where it was not shiny LOCKED meaning: in Pokémon emerald you could soft reset for the Mew to get the shiny, but the Event was only unlocked for people who were in Japan back then (or used a Hack). If you want to know how hardcore that must have been Google when Emerald was released and your parents probably didn’t want to fly there for Pokémon. Another thing is that Mew knew transform and IF it was shiny it would transform into the shiny version of the Pokémon: So if used on a normal wild Wingull, Mew would transform into shiny Wingull - that was patched out for all the generations afterwards Edit: Even if I have some of those mentioned I think my rarest Pokémon is my first Mewtu since I got the invite to the first EX-Raid at least in my country, was an awesome time doing Raids after that, since only 20 people in my city had it at all ;D

I just got back into Pokemon go and I'm so sad i can't get mewtwos and I'm just struggling to get into raids and get a chance at a legendary cause no one in my area plays anymore. It's a shame, all the updates since 2017 have been awesome additions in my opinion.

That shinny mew was upsetting to me. That whole year was when the game updated, and my phone was too old and didn't play the game after that. I didn't get a new phone for a whole year, and I missed a lot of epic pokemon.

My rarest Pokémon are the day one Pokémon i caught as soon as the game was released. Then i stopped playing for years and recently came back.

Actually mimicue pikachu returned once in 2021 which sadly makes it less rare but you still got the shiny debut version
