You cannot sit in from of the camera with a mic and tell us our minerals are of less value. Provide at least 5 research-based pieces of evidence so that we may prove it. There are no landless beggars and settlers in Bougainville. We have all-natural to sustain our lively hood, and ABG can still have time to figure out reopening the mining later.

If the grade of gold and copper is low as you say then why did Rio Tonto bother to mine these minerals and spend so much money on Panguna mine. Check you facts again.

Let Panguna be as it is. And as stated if of low grade, why are Bougainville being infested yearly by foreigners inform of investors. Bougainville is doing okay at the moment. Rome too wasn't built in a day.

I can smell "Bullshit".. The question is if our minerals contained less value why at the first place Rio Tinto would build a township for its employees? Why would it pay more interest on our land by providing everything needed to mine? Saying that it will take up to 4-5 years to make money is another lie, we Bougainvilleans have heard and seeing enough if thats what you think about our minerals than fine just leave us alone we don't need anyone to come dig us up. Foreigners it's time you have to concern more on your places and your resources. Forget Panguna, why can't Rio(BCL) fund the process to independent state. Where is the record and report of Gold and other minerals as a result of 24/7 operation???
