You could even call the video, ‘Some of my favorites’ if you really want to stay away from ‘top 10s’. I think these videos are appropriate every 6 months or so after smelling a large variety of fragrance. Have a fantastic day!
This is great Aaron and it’s refreshing to see a list with some original entries rather than the usual 20 or 25 that everyone includes on their top 10 lists
I love how you have listed what your inspiration was for some of your creations on the Store's description section, it actually helps me as a customer understand the vibe of the creation. :D (ie. 'Boss Bastard' from Wolf of Wallstreet...lol)
With the every 6 months template, you could also consider warm weather and cold weather standouts, depending on the time of year. For instance, your summer "Top 10 " post could suggest offerings for the forthcoming colder seasons.
Your videos are top notch: amazing reviews with useful and specific descriptions, incredible voice, classy editing, soothing music and relevant video ideas. I can’t wait for you to grow even more and see your knowledge and products get more recognition!
@@cristobalbalenciaga7295 yes actually, some people have been extremely sensitive noses, so wearing a fragrance all day on themself could be overwhelming, but their especially sensitive nose makes them an outstanding perfumer.
New to your page (found it this morning lol) love the reviews and in depth breakdown of notes. Love this favorites list happy to say I own 5/8 and will be looking into the 3 I don’t have. I would blind buy anything you say if good.
Your review in Chanel Parfum was well done and I was excited to try it. It was exactly like how you described, interesting and dark but also a nice smelling sent that can be worn everyday which is complex to do. Picked up a bottle for myself and it will be my signature scent.
refreshing to not see constant top tens but also nice to get an insight to your taste where other brands are concerned and i also have and love all 8 !!
There's no top 10 in this channel , and I love that 👍🏾 You're a game changer on RU-vid fragrances world , your content are different , Sick video as always 👌🏾
I really love you and your channel. It's become my new favorite for discovering new scents. You have a fantastic personality and your passion for fragrances is contagious. Keep it up, Aaron. 👌
Yes got to agree with you about the Armani "stronger with you"..in fact the whole line is very good imo a well blended perfume for a mainstream designer
Bought Bad Boy after testing it and watching your review. It's now one of my favourite fragrances in my collection. Every reviewer downplayed it, but you gave it a good rating. And with that you've won my entire trust, and a new subscriber
It is a difficult world to get in, but a beautiful one. I do have some chemical background, and the way you explain scents makes things in my olfactory centers clicking much easier. So… i started watching reviews of fragmances from my collection… and yes, thats it. I can trust you all along. Quickly, you became my go to for adequate research for pieces i dont own. Massive respect for your knowledge, hard work, olfactorial talent. The way you handle fragnances you dont personally like - but are built well… 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great to give impressions only instead of explaining the top, middle and bottom notes ever and ever again! And the total diversity of the prices, genres and moods of the frags! Good for you!👍
Fabulous videos as always, in particular something of this format. Would be very interesting if you further separated your ‘top fragrances’ to maybe top summer and top winter fragrances. ❤️
Really interesting to see, that you show some fragrances, i also have in my collection!:) I also like that You’re not only showing niche. Because some people are really stuck with „only niche and no designer“
I like these. Not all the time but you do so many great reviews it would be great to see what is the best after some reflection. We trust you and these would be valuable.
I agree with below. You stated you don't like to do lists, but this was a great chance to get a quick take on a few at once, and as I have grown to appreciate, your knowledge and opinions matter. Thanks!
Probably the best top 10 fragrances list I’ve seen, the fact that this is so genuine and not just clickbait is so good. I trust your knowledge on perfumery more than anyone else on RU-vid so this is actually very helpful.
Hi Aaron.. Intriguing list.. I really enjoy your reviews...so different but in a good way...How about a list of each season? Or fall winter and spring summer?
While you said you don’t want to do Top 10 videos, I’m interested to see a thought-process driven Top 10 video from you. Your insights and descriptions are unparalleled
I like that Aaron champions projection and longevity in his reviews and in his perfumes, when other reviewers and perfumers treat those things as afterthoughts.
Great picks Aaron! Indeed, Chanel Bleu Parfum, Versace Eros and Stronger with you Intensely are some of my favourite buys of the last few years. Especially Stronger with you Intensely. That is such a sneaky fragrance, opens up pretty good but not mind blowing but then by the half hour mark it dries down quite beautifully and just as the name suggests keeps getting stronger and stronger such that by the 2, 3, 4, 6 hour mark I'm absolutely intoxicated by it as wafts keep blowing past my nose and reminding me that this is hands down the best of the line.
I find ''Stronger with you'' to be pretty sweet.I liked it but i smelled D&G the one next to it and yes it is very linear and balanced but i prefer it. Especially due to the fact that i have some friends with very sensitive noses and i don't want to wear anything that puts them off. Thank you for your wonderful videos! I just subscribed because i love your manner.
BEWARE OF SCAMS: comments from accounts using my profile picture asking you to message them on an app because you won a prize. This is happening on a lot of RU-vid channels now, but they don’t seem to be doing anything to stop it so please spread the word and warn people you know. Thank you!!!
I’m by no means an expert, but I’ve heard so many fragrance channels recommend Bleu Chanel EDP over the Parfum, I’m so glad someone else agrees with me that the Parfum is the best! It’s the only one out of the range that does anything for me
Eros is special. It’s the balancing act of mint and tonka bean that does it for me. Lasted all day on my hand in the Cambodian heat. It’s also the perfect hot day fragrance. It’s very refreshing.
Aaron loved your picks. You have a very similar taste in fragrance to mine. Keep up the great work. Btw bought onyx and it is amazing. You inspired me to start making my own fragrances. Thank you.
Bleu parfum is my favorite. I layer it on top of some pure sandalwood oil sometimes if I feel like smelling like sandalwood that day. It’s brilliant and it’s my fav
Perfect review dear Professor A.T.H . Yes it is a very good idea from now to have an opening review, dry down and lasting. This will be great because many perfumes have an extraordinary opening but the day down is meeeeeew or boring and sometimes the opening is harsh but the dry down is gorgeous. Of cause it demand more time to do a review but what will not do to please our fellowers lol😊
Aaron you've changed yer mind on eros! I have a large banana aswell, I also love bdc parfum, lovely, especially when you layer on top geo t trumper sandalwood. Whats your thoughts on rasasi jasmine wisp? Just got the missus a bottle for her coming birthday. Smells sweet & fruity + vanilla to me. Nice but I wanted to hear your honest opinion. X
Nice, this is the content I've been waiting from you. Many thanks! But I think some of them are from older than last year. If so, where are Armani Code Absolu, Parfums de Marly Herod, or Killian Black Phantom? 'Cause I've seen your "tingling" reactions for those, how amazed you were by their quality. Now waiting for female fragrance list! 🤓
Myself and video unicorn talk about it quite a lot . I try my best to get it right. But I think the pressure of wanting to get it right means I mess it up
Hey A, what you think about Bleu De Chanel EDP vs Parfum, am struggling here to pick between them as I want to treat myself next month because I've heard they're quite a bit different fragrances?
Thank you Aaron. Fragrances transport us to many places and points in our lives; are hard-wired into our minds; are supremely immune to the ravages of time and ageing. For example, "RITZ" (c. 1971) by Charles of the RITZ was the scent of my Mother, who sadly passed last year. It defined her. I want to smell it on the teddy she bought me aged 5 or 6 and cry - but in a good way. I've been looking for the scent pyramid over some days so as to make a ham-fisted attempt at re-creating it, for it was discontinued in 1978 or so. All the accounts were sketchy and contradictory, but I finally found it today from a totally reliable source. Thank goodness! Best wishes.
My Favorite Fragrances would be: in no particular order: 1: Prada Luna Rossa Black 2: Nasomatto Baronda 3: Amouage Interlude Black Iris 4: Initio Psychedelic Love 5: Tom Ford Ombré Leather 6: Azzaro Most Wanted 7: JPG Le Male Le Parfum 8: Louis Vuttion Ombré Nomade 9: Xerjoff Ivory Route
