Brilliant buddy, i'm at the same stage ur at with the RnR Bed and that door idea it fantastic and quirky.... My missus actually thought you trapped you fingers at first lol
G'day Karl good job mate the bed/chair looks like it's very good quality. Loved the fingers court in that bracket, but it was good how you fixed it. Regards John
Lovely job especially on the bed & panels underneath. I’ve same bed & fab idea re-working it that would be such a help if I could have that. Bed company should maybe think of adding to frames. Great vid 👍🏻😁
Hard plastic flooring, bad idea in cold Britain, carpet much better. Had our £5 carpet down 8 years and all's well. I boxed in under the bed and access the storage lifting the seat, means you don't need to crawl. Either side I left open, folding chairs one side custom made litter bin box nearside.
Well I’ve just spent 3 hours in a&e this morning after smashing my little finger to bits on a lovely streamline bed. Absolute shocking design. Sort it out streamline. Going to have to take it to a shop and get a welder on it. I laughed when I watched this video weeks ago and now it’s got me. Carrots everywhere. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍👍
hi karl i have stumbled across your videos and i will say you have made me smile they are great !!!!! Are you a carpenter by trade or just one of those very handy men that turns his hand to anything .. Anyway well done a pleasure to watch you work.
Inspiring Karl, gives me confidence to tackle more DIY jobs at home. Although I realise how important the thinking/planning stage is prior to starting the job, I drive myself mad, as it normally takes so long for me to start the job, I rush in to get it done and then drive myself even more mad by getting it wrong! Life lesson somewhere in there?
Hey bud, great vid, are those your real fingers injured shock horror!!! anyways wanted to ask, im at the point of fitting my rock and roll, in short wheel base transit, is there any particular position it needs to be in, eg, i have it far back as possible so i can still get in the fridge with the bed out, and the back doors can still shut and just about get the latch that holds the nearside rear door locked open, back passed the side of the chair when upright. If you dont mind helping of course. many thanks
Just stumbled on this after getting my full width streamline bed. Brilliant ideas, where did you get those brackets for fixing the front bed panel? Been looking for ages!!
Really enjoying your videos Karl. I'm sure you've had this question before, but do you have an opinion on M1 tested vs non tested beds like the one you fitted?
