Congratulations on your weightloss! The narrative of fragrances encouraging you to become healthier and sharper-dressing is beautiful. Might be the first time anyone in the community has addressed the benefits of the fragrance 'addiction' we all share hahaha. Great video

Thanks very much Asher & thanks again for your "Buy me a coffee" donation. It's an expensive coffee and every little bit helps.

Nice concept and interesting picks. The fragrances that give me more confidence: Aventus, Grey Vetiver EDT and Spicebomb extreme. I also own Explorer and get good performance.

Unfortunately, due to some consistent injuries and my wife's amazing cooking, I've gone the other way. Gained like 40 pounds since I started collecting fragrances two years ago. I AM working hard to get back to where I was before though so I can feel healthier and wear the nice clothes that go well with the fragrances.

I have struggled with weight since my divorce so I know what's it's like. I think that wearing Fragrances provided me with a reason to dress better which just seemed to seep into my consciousness after collecting for a few years. It was very weird and surprisingly organic. The weight loss went along with that but I'm sure if I was married my motivations and priorities would be different and probably more selfless.

For me the best confidence booster is the Fahrenheit Le parfum. It's bold, strong and standing out. Also, completely agree regarding the Reserve Privee.

Farenheit Le Parfum is a masterpiece and I could have put this on the list no problem.

Great video Stuart. I agree about the dreamer, in terms of affordability(not smell) I compare it to burberry touch. You get much scent for the buck. Havent tried reserve privee just gentleman edp, perhaps I should give it try 🙂

I think Reserve Privee deserves a try. It really is a nice fragrance and different enough from the rest of the line. I found Boisee to be somewhat similar to the EDP but Reserve Privee is different. Peace out.

Nice work brother. Have you tried Hugo Boss bottled elixir. I am thinking about getting it.Cliff

I haven't tried it but have heard nothing but good things. It actually seems to be better than most of the other hyped up elixirs.

I’d rank Annuci and Bobby Jones cologne right up there with Dreamer for price, quality and uniqueness 🤙🏾

I'll definitely check them out. Is that Bobby Jones the golfer? He has a fragrance?
@altonza

@@ScentsofStyle99 yes, but unfortunately I just looked and it’s now discontinued. What a shame because it was a fresh green fragrance unlike polo green, halston or GIT (but this is a love for me with several backup bottles) which can smell dated.
@altonza
@altonza 2 месяца назад
I stand corrected and it looks like they brought it back in a rectangular bottle, but mine was in a sexy green bottle, rounded shoulders, dark green cap and wrapped in dark green leather.

Just looked and it sells on Amazon for $330. I think I paid $70 brand new many years ago.

That's pretty common. The magnificent original ends up on eBay and the watered down newer versions are cheaper and only provide a hint of what the original had to offer.

Explorer is by far my most complimented frag. I'm one of the lucky ones I guess. Gentleman edp is my winter signature scent. Haven't bought Privee because I saw somewhere it was redundant to the edp. What's your opinion?
@ScentsofStyle99
@ScentsofStyle99 2 месяца назад
Oh no. Reserve Privée is quite different. It's a different kind of sweetness and you can really pick up the whiskey. The iris (at least for me) is less noticeable in Reserve privée. As for redundancy, it depends on your perspective I suppose. In the grand scheme of things they are vaguely close but for me Reserve Privée is different enough and better

One thing people don't realize is that the chemicals used in perfume industries are extremely toxic and hazardous. But what isn't everything these days.
@ScentsofStyle99
@ScentsofStyle99 2 месяца назад
The chemicals that make the Fragrances may have toxic properties, but what goes in fragrances and on our skin is heavily regulated by a group called IFRA. Certain allergens like Oak Moss (2% are allergic to it) have been removed and they now use synthetic versions of Oak Moss to get the scent right. Things have improved drastically over the last two decades.
@zsb707
@zsb707 2 месяца назад
Because of the chemicals, I'm more confident wearing Montblanc Explorer than Armaf CDNIM or Al Haramain L'Aventure.
@ScentsofStyle99
@ScentsofStyle99 2 месяца назад
Fair comment. That's the difference between European regulations and those of the middle east which are more lax.
@taher9358
@taher9358 2 месяца назад
Al Haramain L’Aventure in my opinion is the closest to Creed Aventus dna. Monblanc Explorer smells nice but its very weak.
@ScentsofStyle99
@ScentsofStyle99 2 месяца назад
I was so close to putting L'Aventure on there as an option but I'm only allowed four options and I wanted to leave one open for people who don't like clones. But yes, I have heard good things about that.
@taher9358

@@ScentsofStyle99 the newer batches are a bit weaker so if you can get older batches, by all means help yourself ditch the Montblanc brand lol
