I rewatch the series and wish that Nick Sobotka had Bruce hit, and that Omar and Brother Mouzone waited a few days to whack Stringer so his hitters would whack that POS Clay Davis.
This is a good lesson. I learned similar back in NY. Our lobbyist told me, "We don't waste money on Republicans in the Assembly because we have their vote, we don't waste money on Democrats in the Senate because we will never get their vote."
tell me about it. he was on nypd blue as the father of some dindu who got killed and i wanted to be like he was probably skimming his sons allowance saying the money was going to bribe the little league coach to make him first base
The Levy's are the swamp, and the Davis's are the guys promising to drain it. The thing is, though, those kinds of snakes live _in_ the swamp. They need it to survive.
Man I feel for Frank's lobbyist, he didnt have to help frank so much...telling him who to aim for straight up in the room where they are present, while having part knowledge that the dock money is questionable at best. He also stood up for himself when frank got at him for his lifestyle even though his grandfather was a hardworking man like frank himself. It just goes to show unfortunate Frank's life was.
unwinnable war, dock money wasn't as good as Andy Crawchek big developer money. and that was what won out at the end. Clay Davis naturally got paid from all sides regardless.
@@socallawrence After frank got arrested they had to distance themselves from any involvement. Had the girls not turned up dead in those cans and the money from the Greek kept rolling in….you never know.
@@Kruppt808 Frank won the war as it was going to pass, but then Ziggy went nuts and that scared everybody away. That's what was so heartbreaking about Season 2. Frank did what they thought was impossible and Ziggy fucked it up for everybody.
"The guys you need to work are the guys who wouldn't have shown up if we hadn't been throwning money at them" *Proceeds to list the Democrats in the room*
