This is wonderful news, truly hearing this gives me drive and motivation to keep working on the channel. What a success story. I had a bout of insomnia before and I know it is awful and drags down every part of life. To get 5hours of sleep must feel like a small miracle after what you have been through. The Relaxed Guy omg YES, please keep up the amazing work your doing on your channel. Im not sure you even realize how much you do in a person's life (i know its been greatly improved in mine). I know the 1st morning i woke up, i thought something was wrong, i hadn't sleep that many hours in a row in so long, i felt great too. I didnt get up with a headache, which was typical for me. The most natural rain sound video I’ve seen. Throughout my life, rain has been a calming and happy vibe for me, unlike most people who prefer sun. I found this video around 4 months ago and god it’s helped me sleep. I’m a very light sleeper and this manages to help me sleep 6+ hours without waking up. Thank you for that. 🌧🙌🏻

I was suffering anxiety and depression, serious, a friend suggested I go to Tenerife to get some sun but I actually felt worse. Arriving back in Manchester I stayed with my niece and it rained heavily that night. I felt a calm and comfort that’s hard to describe, but I know that’s why everyone, including me, will keep coming back here so thank you Relaxed Guy, you’re great.

It’s good you are taking affirmative action to try and help with the anxiety and depression. There’s something about the rain that’s so comforting for me and many others including yourself by the sound of it. It brings me much joy to be able to help so many people reduce their anxiety, stress, depression symptoms, PTSD, tinnitus, insomnia and so forth. I first came to this channel and exact video in October of 2017 when my first daughter came home at around 3 months old. This helped her and me sleep every night, 5 years and 2 more babies later, the most recent being born in late 2021. This channel has become a staple of my family's bed time routine. I'm in my office with the lights out, sound system on with a little bit of base with my 2 month old sleeping behind me peacefully listening to these soothing rain sounds. My oldest is 4 going on 5 and still nuzzles into me at night when I turn these video on. Relaxed guy, you have done amazing work bringing these videos to a happy and appreciative audience. Hi Relaxed Family, there is rain falling if you look closely. I wanted it to be subtle in this one - for people that want a darker screen but to still be able to see something slightly. The rain is not the same recording as previous. I want to make a night rain series of videos which will eventually have its own playlist for you to have a number of high quality choices. Thing is with anxiety is you can get uptight about anything. I have tinnitus, that at times seems really loud and I have an armoury of weapons that I use to overcome. Rain sounds are probably the number one weapon. There’s something about rain that just calms the mind. It saddens me when I read comments from people who battle tinnitus like it’s the winning enemy, a constant source of worry. While it can sometimes mildly bother me, overwhelmingly I’ve just learned to relax about it. It’s just a noise, after all. We hear noises throughout our life’s. Thanks for the rain, it’s great. I liked this, but I do come across some that don't have the sound I want, and I find that RU-vid simply give us no other way of ranking by preference but to dislike. If you neither like nor dislike, you have no way of knowing if you've even sen the video before. It makes me cross that YT was so arrogant as to remove the gradient 1 to 5 (years ago now), but that's life.

I am using it for few nights now, it is really working. I don't allow it all through the 8 hours, once I am done sleeping the first round, I do put it off and continue to sleep. If at any time I couldn't sleep back after few minutes I would put it on again. So far it has been helpful.

Hey friend, thanks a lot! Unlike most people in the comments, I don't have a really heavy story, but I suffer from a mild anxiety (which likes to pester me at night) and I sleep way faster and deeper, as well as wake up more rested when listening to your videos. 😢for kids to see and it is 5.30am for me and my parents and my parents will try and make a trip out there for the next couple weeks of this trip to the US for the first time in 🎉😢😅a little over an age 😢years of high level education is a great way for kids and adults 😢we have to make a great deal for kids who have been able and I have 😢wel in my heart for the 😢we are in for the day to get a little help on what are you have a 999999999 for kids and how do you know if you are doing well and are doing well and enjoying your new home and enjoying the new year and 5 5 and I hope you have the time 😢the first and the best to be the greatest thing you ever have the chance

You're welcome. I think a lot of the apps use downloaded sounds. I have had most of the big apps like that approach me for my sounds, but it takes a lot of work and I prefer to share them with the channel

When I was a kid I used to grab a book when it rained and head out to my parent’s car to read and listen to the rain. Drove my mother nuts cause she was always searching for me

My sister has a white noise machine, but she doesn't use it anymore. She gave me a really messed up sleep schedule, but this honestly helps me fall asleep, so thank you man.

From a young lady with Complex PTSD and so much more: Thank you so much for your videos, especially this one. I have been listening for years, and there are vairous levels of intensity of rain so I dont have to feel over or underwhelmed when choosind the right one for the night. If my night terrors woke me up, id hear the rain and smile as I FELL BACK TO SLEEP! I cannot express how useful this is to me, as I wouldn't typically be able to to that for over 4 hours without your vids. Of course there are other creators out there, but I gravitate to yours the most. I am a storm/tornado chaser, or was one in the past, and these sond so freaking much like those times, fond times chasing for hours with my mother. It makes me remember when she would quiz me on the meteorological terms of the storms and reward me with a quarter or a chocolate peice for getting it right :) I just needed to thank you after so much time for your videos. C-PTSD is basically PTSD on a highly repeated scale, and the amount of night terrors and flipping VARIETY is an utter hell. My trauma events are severe and 10+, but somehow your vids have always helped me have nicer dreams and longer rest (not restless sleep whith less energy than I went to bed with.) So for the last 5 or so years worth of peace and smiles and rest, thank you dearly. 😊
