Literally the only thing that could make this better and more relaxing is if I could smell it too. There is something so calming and otherworldly about the smell of a forest in the rain. Even damp trees on their own. I don't know what it is, but it definitely makes me feel safe and happy. But this will have to do, and it doing very well indeed. Thank you :)

I agree with you, with my experience as a Nomads in East Africa, what a lovely smell of a forest in the rain .......we have proverbs in our own language you may not understand it......anyway i see what you saying..

There is a wooded Valley with a stream running through it in Cornwall...it is my happy place. It looks and sounds just like this video when it is raining. This video is bliss.

I do like the way the background keeps changing - something to look at as well as to listen to. Such lush vegetation, too - like some parts of Somerset (UK) where I live.

When I was a kid I always admire rain, especially when Im out on the nearby forest similar to this and would just hear raindrops falling on leaves and river streams, all the ambience of the environment

I listen to a lot of different rain sounds to fall asleep to. I have a 15 month old baby and he sleeps with me. Since he was born we have always gone to sleep listening to rain sounds. But this one is our favorite. He falls asleep faster and stays sleep all night to this one. It also relaxes me the most out of them all.

Whenever I see a stream or river, I always find myself wondering where it first started, where it's been, and where it's going to go. The stories I can come up with these three simple questions can be quite interesting if nothing else haha

I live in Az where temperatures can change depending Where you live, I will just be honest, It gets soooooo Hot. I just so happened I was relaxing watching this calming scene as I often do when I saw something come up from the rocks (bottom left) then dance across the screen jump up then dive into the creek. Watch at 2:44:32-33 its a faint ball of light looks like a smudge that moves on the screen, its called a spirit (aka Ghost) !

it sounds just like my dream. I was walking through the forest with the gentle rain while a stream came in. Since I was an anime cat girl, I was able to catch fish even though k got wet. My older dream brother, started laughing as the fish kept on slipping from my hands multiple times. He then ended up catching the fish for me though.
