Aang from Avatar: "I never kill anybody" _(show clips of him killing hundreds of people)_ Strawhats from OP: "We're pirates!" _(clips of piratey stuff not found)_
lol nothing confirmed that Aang killed anybody either, those soilders could had survived as much we know, he blow them off a mountain with his airbending but they could have made the fall as it was not high up at all and alot of thick snow
Imagine pissing her off and her just snapping your arms like twigs then once they finally heal she just shows up and snaps em again for years just to torment you
@@Sarahm2261to be fair, Don Krieg only sucked for the time we met him because he was fucking pissed. He had literally just entered the grand line and the first guy he met was a freaking warlord that decided to destroy all of his ships just because. Honestly I would've been pissed too in his situation
I can't stress enough, how much I respect you for commissioning artists instead of using AI for your channel art still. You are one of the real ones. Integrity is important, and you have that.
He ate it so chopper wouldn’t be mentally destroyed at he almost died for nothing. Thats why he committed suicide basically via explosion so it wouldn’t be chopper’s fault
How dare you say chopper has horrible work ethic, chopper didn't kill Hiriluk, he ate it to make chopper feel better, Hiriluk knew that mushroom was poisonous but chopper didn't, cant blame him for not knowing he's a reindeer. Even if he didn't eat the mushroom he would have died anyway from his illness.
There's a good reason why Oda had to make sure Nico Robin doesn't end fights too quickly because over the top fights with massive destruction is a lot cooler than someone strong getting snapped in the neck anticlimactically.
Yeah I remember one time at work i was explaining to one of my friends who hadn't seen One Piece how Robin's ability works, and he asked how people can counter her bc she sounds so Op, and all I could say was "she doesn't fight much" 😂
I think her conjured arms and legs are at best as strong as her original arms and since she's not very physically strong there is no reason for them to work on stronger opponents ( aka the haki users etc).
@@yp_biggie1116 brother, she is a physically fit adult human woman. She isn't some coach potato, she's been running around all her life surviving. She is very strong
@@HExtraordinaireyes and she couldn't kill Spandam, who is literally weaker than an average marine despite breaking his spine. No way her clutches are working on anyone but fodder
@@yp_biggie1116 She couldn't kill him therefore she's not strong? What logic is that? By that logic noone in One Piece except Sakazuki and few others are strong.
The people of Drum Kingdom should be lucky that Chopper is a kind little guy who wanted to make friends and heal every disease as his dream despite they treated him like crap for being different as a Human-Human Fruit user. It takes One Bad Day for him to snap and decide to go for a very enthusiastic walk.
Robin has took down a lot of enemies as an assassin and with her Flower-Flower Fruit, she can easily manifest hands on them to snap their necks and spines.
Yes but due to the case of spadam. Breaking a spine in half is not a death sentence or even causing paralysis as he is up and walking in Film Gold… So can’t convict on that cause they can just be knocked out…
In the German dubbed version of One Piece of the anime series, the genders of Satori were swapped, the siblings said what did you do to our sister and from then on I thought that Sanji had kicked a woman for the first time.
I don't know if you count this, but there are several unnamed characters that are assumed to be dead or have died later off screen. On the train to Enies Lobby, Usopp shot an unnamed marine that was looking for them off the train. He fell in the ocean during the Aqua Laguna. That is pretty much a death sentence. During the Onigashima raid, like a lot of the samurai, i'm pretty sure Zoro slashed killed a bunch of unnamed beast pirate soldiers. Also, i just wanted to add that i'm grateful Oda holds back Robin's power because if you have a bit of imagination, she could do stuff to a person that is a lot nastier than what we got so far. I'm not a fan of having arms that can poke my eyes out or hair that can grow out of my mouth and choke me.
Good sir, while I can certainly understand your misconception due to them being very good friends, it was in fact Sogeking who shot that man off the train. Usopp is clear of all charges.
Does anybody remember the commander of God's Militia on Skypia (I think his name was Yama) who was beaten by Robin? She basically flung him against a tree with all his weight, where he was impaled by his own axe-dials, then threw him over a cliff and broke his spine mid-fall. As far as I remember, we never see him again and I always assumed he was dead. To me that even topped Robin's finishing move against Black Maria in terms of brutality...
@@brandoncolon1160cause he a lighting logic and would fried her, also she did try and he one shot ko her if you remember when zoro save her from falling from the ground.
@@brandoncolon1160 She tries that on Aokiji later on and it doesn't work. It would have been the same with Enel since both are logia users. Plus, she will take damage, if her hands are hurt. Touching a man who can turn into literal electricity may cause just that...
Yeah ole fatboy was dead lol. I just rewatched that arc recently. She was mad because he destroyed those ancient ruins and trying to kill her at the same time. So she gave him no mercy, nor did he deserve any. But oda will probably bring him back at some point. Because if croc's bomb didn't kill Pell. Then you have to assume most op characters are almost immortal and you have to 1000% see them die in such a way there is no coming back or they arent really dead. Orochi was killed like 4 times in wano before he actually finally stayed dead.
They seriously killed people before especially Luffy, Robin and Zoro ESPECIALLY Zoro. You're not going to sit there and tell me this dude wasn't hacking and slashing folk like Jason Vorhees lol
I know it probably doesn't count, but in the Live Action, he only knocks out Marines. Mr 7 though, (a black dude) gets cut in half and died immediately. Furthermore, for the assault on Arlong Park, he actually kills every Fishman in his way. Mind you, Fishmen are a minority and are heavily prejudiced against. He is NOT beating the allegations.
Youcould argue that Robin wasn't intending to off Geko Moria since injuries like that aren't fatal in OP. She snapped Spandam's spine in two and not only is he still alive, but he can still walk.
2:18 Yeah, if Enel didn't have his observation Haki, a lot of problem in the Skypia arc wouldn't have been that problematic. Imagine how Big Mom's life would have been if she didn't have superhuman strength. And yet, these characters live in a world where people have the abilities that they have.
There is one Robin case I genuinely am curious to hear the verdict on. One of the people she has been the most angry with. Yama the monk in Skypiea in the case of Anime vs Manga
@GrandLineReview I think you're 100% correct on the case of Luffy "crushing" the henchman on Onigashimi being related to his DF. I personally think this also couldve been foreshadowed in Whole Cake when the random Firetank Pirate witnesses Luffy AND Brook regrowing teeth/healing bone in real-time by drinking milk. This "healing" effect deriving from Luffy's DF and his child-like concept of how to heal bones, but also showcasing that his "cartoon-logic" can and was being applied to those in close proximity to him.
To be fair Brook has also been healing cracks and fractures with milk since his introduction, he might've even influenced Luffy into believing it so his DF could regenerate the tooth at all!
I'm pretty sure that a lot of the mooks that Luffy mows through don't survive. He may not be trying to kill them. But I think a fair number of the Marines at Ines Lobby died from Luffy beating them up.
for Luffy it's actually selfdefense, he never attacked people first, he beat them up because they kept attacking him, it's their fault for being weak and attacking and irritating a strong pirate who tells them to move out of the way
That's why Toei is FULL of incompetent people making bad decisions , they chose to not adapt cover stories, they chose to cut out ending songs later on, they chose to not add good filler, they chose to stret flashbacks and repeat stares over and over and over...
Objection on the case of Robin killing Moria. Moria started that entire confrontation with no provocation from the Straw Hats. He set out with the express purpose of killing them. The Straw Hat crew was literally fighting for their own survival and as such this is a clear case of self-defense.
6:34 I can never forget Satori. Why? Because the german Anime Team had a male VA Shortage at the time they synchronized Skypiea so they thought: Let's genderswap Satori. Which promted a whole lot of questions in the german fanbase given who kicks the Priest into submission. It seemed like Sanji attacked a woman - plain out, with no vagueness of any kind. 8:27 And about the german translation: "Wir waren Drillinge und ihr habt unsere Schwester auf dem Gewissen!" = We were Triplets and you have our sister on your conscience!" So this whole killing thing was quite widespread. 13:33 Funfact about German Gasparde. He is voiced by Christoph Jablonka. Which forges an incredible connection: Don Krieg, Gasparde, Marshall D. Teach and the most powerful: Homer Simpson. All the same voice. In my opinion that's hilarious to think about.
They are pirates! Anti-heroes! they can kill. Specially since they are almost always in life or death situations. The fact that they are no conventional heroes at all is the best thing of one piece.
I believe that you forgot that, Robin (Allegedly) killed the Yama, the fat ogre (not to be mistaken with Gorlock the destroyer) in Skypia. She causes him a hefty concussion hitting his head at extremes speeds against a tree and proceeds to drop him on his head from 20-30 meters, then she caused 10 big lacerations on his body, proceeded to paralyze him and dropped him from a mountain over 200 meters on his own head. This character was never again seen, and presumed dead even by Enel.
I think the problem is more the OP universe itself. We’ve seen the straw hats take damage that should and would absolutely kill a normal human being, even weak ‘normal humans’ like Usopp, so seeing Luffy beat another human through a wall like a Loony Toons character should kill them…but doesn’t always. There’s been some characters that I thought were absolutely certainly dead, such as Zoro cutting up Mr.1 in Alabasta, only to have them appear alive and well in a random cover story. So it’s not that unreasonable to believe some of these random low level marines and henchmen are surviving the shenanigans since we’ve seen much worse.
I may have forgotten the previous video, I don't quite remember the Robin cases dealt there, but I think it was mostly about Spandam and the various marine she clutched But I'd like to bring a further case: the head of the Heavenly army Yama. She cut him up with the 10x axe dials, clutched him up a bit and beat him up, then made him go down an idk how many metres fall, all the while she held his arms and legs (so he couldn't even protect himself in any way from the fall), and on top of all that she also clutched him all the while he ws falling/when he already fell on the ground That was brutal, and since she wasn't quite a straw hat in terms of morals yet, nor we ever saw him like the other priests (maybe lol), I think the case is very strong If you had already covered it welp
Being fair, when you think about it, the most common source of on screen murders in One Piece is... flintlock pistols during executions. You know, the thing that Luffy has been tanking and deflecting since chapter 1
I have no idea why anyone would say that Hiriluk was killed by Tony Tony Chopper. Dr. Hiriluk literally blows himself up so that he doesn't die from the mushroom. This is stated both in the anime AND the manga! Dr. Hiriluk died by blowing himself up, it just so happens that Tony also gave him a poisonous mushroom a few hours earlier.
I wonder what would happen if Robin used her ability on a logia user and then the individual changed into their perspective element. Would her arms turn into that too? And inevitably loose both of her arms at once?
Nico Robin may not have killed Maria, but the point of Grand Jacuzzi Clutch was poetic, Maria had threatened to rip off Robin’s arms, and so, Robin ripped off her arms instead, and I think in the manga she ripped off all of her limbs. I’d say from blood loss, in the manga Robin DEFINITELY killed her, also, you know, that entire floor being consumed by flames probably did the job as well.
Fun Fact: for a place to be considered a library it must have at least 1000 books. Having said that, since you read the One Piece manga AND have it also in Japanese, I am confident to assume that you have well over 2000 books in your house and therefore you, sir, live in a library.
I always forget about that but for a story that revolves around pirates and the navy and all kinds of sailors there really aren’t a lot of battles at sea which is a shame and they should definitely show more especially considering a lot of the major characters r df users so having fights out at sea in the open waters would add a lot more suspense and danger to each fight
Franky no, his battle Frankies sure was his creation but he did not do the deed of shooting innocent people with them, he were very much framed too. It's like blaming a person for have created a vase and because someone used that vase to throw at someones head and kill a person that does not mean the creator is guilty just for have created the vase. Franky is innocent at that time.
@@alvdansen7172 I would personally have used the example of guns. The creator of the gun is not accountable for every murder caused by it. Of course there could be quite a few examples, knifes, rope and so on.
@@Tokensdorf Franky gave no permission for anyone to use his battle Frankies, he did not allow anyone to use his creations. Those who creates weapons like guns usually sell the weapons and then let whatever happens with it be their responsiblility. For Franky they had no right to use those weapons. They litterly stole the Battle Frankies, used them for evil and then framed Franky for it. Franky was naive to think the Battle Frankies would just be left alone and would have no conseqvenses, however he did not create those ships to be used.
Geratsu's story is really sweet. Poetically speaking we're talking about a man who accepted his defeat and decided to do better with his life after that
I’m sure that brook would be the type of person to be accused of murder but there would be a really big mistake something like there’s fingerprints on the scene and brook says he’s all bones but he would still be locked up for it
The Chopper one actually reminded me that there are actually a small subset of people that watches Liam's channel that don't watch OP at all, and everything they know about the show comes from this channel alone.
I’m a minute in and I already love this video. I was interested in the last one but disappointed in how many strawhats got away Scott free from anime fiction court XD
It’s funny how in other animes people enjoy watching their insane “multiversal” Characters kill billions of people, while we one piece fans investigate the smallest of deaths happening in the back lights 👁️
Dr. Hiriluk... until you mentioned his name. His death and final words were the first time I realized that one piece different than any previous anime I had seen before. Now my real question is this. Would chopper be charged as a juvenile in court? Or would you charge him based upon how old he was since getting his devil fruit?
Also one thing people need to remember is that humans have passive regen in one piece. If someone doesn’t die from damage, they wont die from their injuries. I can’t think of a single person dying later in one piece
What about on Whole Cake Island where Brook removed the souls of all of those soldiers? The souls didn't belong to them, so he might not have killed, but I think it's worth considering.
2:38 I have to respectfully push back on attempted murder charges w Moria as self-defense. As you pointed out, Moria was piloting a giant Oars "meat mech," and was definitely trying to kill them and their friends with said meat mech. So I move for dismissal of all charges against Robin and Usopp on grounds of self-defense. Good day Sir. 🎩
Per the wiki, Satori's status is unknown and Black Maria is alive. And yeah, Hiriluk was dying anyway, ate the mushroom to make Chopper feel good, then blew himself up so the mushroom WOULDN'T kill him.
Red Bean Soup Guy is prolly fine, because Leo and Sai, who don't have rubber powers, attacked St. Charlos and it was considered an "*Attempted* Murder" despite suffering a similar fate to Red Bean Soup Guy
There could’ve been an 🔥Ace🔥 attorney joke in here somewhere, where you could’ve used ace to defend him but also exploit ace if he was accused of anything guilty.
I don’t know if you have done this before, but I would love a video where you talk about things you would like to see happen, Not predictions, just some one piece things you personally would like to see Like a panel of Luffy mirroring Rogers “he laughed” would hit like crack
I just wanted to say before I watch this video, i love the time that you upload. Its pretty much a new one piece video on my morning drive to work everyday. Thank you.
Luffy should have Attempted Murder for almost all his fights. There is no way he was like: "I'm gonna pummel this alligator through the bedrock with a 100 punches. He will probably survive."
everytime luffy launches someone team rocket style, it can be considered attempted murder. Wapol and Buggy are lucky they did land on land or had someone rescue them, the most probable case would be falling into water and drowning. Also, let's not forget the tens of impel down guards sent flying to boiling lava
Dam. Im not first. I had a root canal yesterday but your videos made me smile .Which gave me a bit off that gleeful, OW my face hurts to move lol 😆. How do you think oda is going to subvert our expectations of vikings in elbaf?
For Robin's first attempted murder charge, Moria, I claim it's purely out for self defense for herself and her friends. Then Robin's second attempted murder, Iceberg, I ask for extended time to review the evidence because it was out of her power and was forced to assassinate him. Luffy and Sanji, attempted murder, The ball guy, it was purely out of self defense. He was the one attacking them first and if didn't stop him then he'll at least attack the Strawhats and could've murder one of them. So your bugginess honor, I ask for two appeals and extended time for these cases.
Yep, that's One Piece. I mean, just look at how Foxy is pierced right through the skull and all over his body in Chapter 315 as he falls on a floor covered with spikes, and yet keeps fighting as if nothing happened.
I like your ryokugyu shirt. I want one of all the admirals as 1 character. Use like fujitora's scars, kuzans hair, sakazuki's Hawaiian shirt/outfit, kizarus glasses and fidora. Something like that.
I get the confusion on Black Maria. But spamdam survived getting his spine broken. Unless there’s a body or a direct confirmation. Named characters are not dead.
