Pigs still outclass dino eggs in every way right ? So at that point it is just better to get rabbits for hoarding rabbit foot as gifts as it is the best gift in the game loved by everyone (except penny)
So rabbit foot for Qi 50 love gifts in a week quest (and wool at the same time for cloth) And pigs for pure gold A couple of cows for cheese for 100% hp heals Don't see the point of any other animal
@@goochipoochie at a max level, sheep outclass pigs. It's a lot harder to get a max sheep setup and you have to be on Sheppard for most of the year but if you care about maximum profit, they're better now
I actually thought about demolishing them to get more field space. Harvesting with the Iridium Scythe is really fun + fast. But I decided to keep my 7 Junimo huts, because I have still enough work on the Ginger Island Farm😅
@@xxleoproxx7495 Yes 7 Junimo Huts, this is a farming game after all😅 I use the Standard Farm. Each Junimo Hut has 8 Iridium Sprinklers around it. (And a few sprinklers have the Pressure Nozzles) With that I have space for 1402 Ancient Fruit Plants. I also have 10 Sheds with mostly Kegs to get that fruit processed😀 I could increase Farming space a little bit more, but I wanted my Farm to still look nice + have a little grass for my animals.
@@konrad3 somehow the farm always feels small but if I hear something like that I realize how big it is… 7 fully utilized Junimo Huts and 10 Sheds on this little farm
The fish smoker doubles the fish value, not triples it. It just multiplicatively stacks fisher/angler with the artisan bonus which is why the total price increase is up to 4.2x
For omnigeodes i found a new method Just get the new totems and go to ginger island with good luck and make and dig artifact spots, i got 80 omni geodes from only 6 totems
The comparison between the selling prices of the preserves, kegs, and dehydrators is misleading, as you used 5 of each kind. Since the dehydrator uses 5 of the ingredient, you should have used either: -one dehydrated product, with 5 of the others -or 5 dehydrated product, with 25 of the others This would more accurately show the value, as both other methods are more valuable than dehydrating.
@@namtuhudee the dhydrator is fast though, only needs 1 ingame day. so on a weekly base: 1 dehydrator produces 7 portions of dried fruit, so thats 2800 for 1 week. 1 keg can only produce 1 wine per week, so the weekly profit would be 75. (using the blueberry example, which is a bad one since u don t wanna keg it late game, but it brings the point across). Inpractice however you need much more crops to be able to supply these en mass on a daily base (35 per hydrator per week vs 1 per hydrator) + you need to fill the machines every day. So I wouldn t say its viable in terms of " Farming QoL", since u d spend basically all your time on the filling the machines as opposed to just 1 day. the dehydrator is a nice "backup" in case your ratio of "Crops to kegs" produces excess crops, it makes you "do something with them, without them collecting dust", but not something I would build everything around due to high maintenance the setup would be. basically if you get 5 gold/iridium quality crops, you can consider throwing them in every once it a while to "clean your storage" and make some extra profit without having to wait very long. 7.5 multipier for 5 fruit is 50 % extra per fruit basically for 1 day of wait. tldr: its a "nice little thing to have as plan B in your wine setup" but thats about it. Case and point. Tea processes 3 hours, so theoretically you can get 7 teas per day, thats 700 gold per day and keg and 4900 gold per day and keg. but no one would do this in practice. basically it s also a question of "what do you want to optimize", if you wanna optimize "amount of weekly profit per tile you use for a machine" for some reason. dehydrators would be the winners (assuming there would be no issue in supplying),
True, especially with starfruit, the seed already cost 400g per fruit. Would never put my starfruit in the dehydrators :D Would use it for ancient fruit/strawberry/cranberry etc since my kegs exclusively for starfruit
Yall don’t listen to the video and it shows 😂 he said it takes 5 and even goes on to say only use fruit in the dehydrator if you have an overflow of fruit or want faster money since it’s quicker …
@@lexihd5342 You clearly didn’t WATCH the video because they showed a screen with 5 of each being sold, including the dehydrated product, which would be 25 crops rather than the intended 5, making it seem more valuable than the actual sell price.
@@TransIsBest I'd say because it's more prevalent you're more likely to use it. Used to be pretty hard to get and there wasn't much point yk. I suppose it's good for some quests you may need to rush
Salmence actually does research, this guy seems to mostly make up numbers for views, like a third of the info he provided can be wrong in a lot of circumstances, especially about dehydrators, the treasure appraisal guide book, and the actual benefit to the fish smoker.
By farming radioactive ore and making bars I got around 200K in a day. From smoking around 25 Iridium quality Legend 2 I got 1M+ in 3 days. So if you don't want to wait, just farm ores. You get a decent amount of money without much preparation.
But think about how long it takes to make one wine, then age it to iridium quality. You’re going to make waaayy more money using the dehydrator (if you have enough fruit) in the time it would take to make the wine and age it.
I ran a bunch of scenarios with starfruit in ChatGPT and compared the money you’d make from kegs and casks vs the dehydrator and in every scenario, the dehydrator made more money in less time. You can’t make enough batches of wine to compare to amount of dried fruit you can make.
@alexandriav3956 It takes 5x as much resources to make that much. Also, ChatGPT isn't reliable, this is a ton of new info out that uses different information and this guy provided a good bit of wrong info too. Additionally, you're using Kegs and Casks, which makes the whole process take 28 extra days, which Casks are not time efficient at all, so of course adding an extra 28 days per wine which normally only takes 7 will make it comparatively worse. Here's the math on it: It takes 5 starfruit to dehydrate, and the dehydrator gives you a 7.5x value bonus on your fruit, making it worth 6212 Starfruit Wine sells for a flat 2250, if you have 5 kegs to make it 11250 gold to match the same amount of fruit The issue with this comparison is you're saying dehydrator is better in every scenario, but in the late game it's almost never the machines that's holding you back, but instead the supply you can provide it with, so a better value in general is more worth it. I'd personally say an extra 5038 gold per 5 starfruit is worth it over doing it in a single day, you nearly double the value with kegs. The problem with the Dehydrator is that sadly that it's in such a niche situation where you're trying to minmax value of a single day, versus over a total length. And also with your argument of making more profit in less time with the dehydrator, why not just make 5x more kegs than the amount of dehydrators you'd need? Assuming you're truly min-maxing, let's look at the best case scenario Let's say you play on the Four Corners farm with the most amount of tillable tiles, and you dedicate every single one of them to crops You also have Ginger Island unlocked This gives a total of 3830 farmable tiles If you sacrafice just a tiny portion of that land to build a player house, get someone to move in and upgrade it to the max, you get 586 kegs for only 15 tiles. You need to sacrifice 30 tiles total for Dehydrators, assuming you put the farm houses on tillable tiles (Which can be avoided) You need 4 player homes for every starfruit to be kegged when ready, sacrificing 105 tiles, but in exchange every single crop is worth 3x instead of 1.5x These calculations don't even include the rest of the valley where people tend to fill with kegs instead of their farms, so realistically you can do this with no penalty. Tldr: Unless you're producing 10000 crops a day, and have more kegs than land you can put them in, the Dehydrator will never be useful unless in niche runs
Pine trees are the best for mushroom logs so I put four mushroom logs down and they each make 5 chanterelles every 4 days which I put in dehydrator and make 1000g per day
dino eggs are artifacts even though they can be collected from dinos in a coop don't waste time on treasure troves they can't get iridium quality artifacts
Your math is so wrong that the dehydrator needs 5 fruits to process, but the keg only needs 1, so what you should actually compare is 5 keg products for 1 dehydrator products bro. 💀💀💀💀
Now making a three farm in the quarry is a great idea because you could also make a mushroom log farm with music threes and then trade the Mystic sirupe with the racoon family for fairy dust
The dehydrator is kind of catchy tho. You need to place 5 fruits/veggies on it for them to dry. So following the example: 1 starfruit wine (made of only 1 starfruit) sells for 2250-3150 But 5 dried starfruit sells for 5650-7910 If you use the starfruit on kegs and makw 5 wines, you get 11250-15750. So...making wine is way more profitable than dried fruits.
No offense but why would anyone want to get so Rich in stardew Valley? After a certain point you pretty much have maximized all buildings in your farm. With the preserving jar for fruits and vegetables, oil maker ,cheese and mayonnaise from my animals I've pretty much got an average of 60k a Day. Sometimes i reach 90k if i decided to go fishing and i always end up not spending that money because there's nothing to spend it on
No mention of the parrot? Hitting the Caverns with a level 4 parrot trinket makes so much money (especially if you have a sword with Crusader, as then you're also able to easily farm mummies, which have pretty valuable drops). Burglar ring just adds to the gains from this. And change that thumbnail! Showing the magma cap is so misleading.
So the dehydrator is just faster? I would make 15 k with just plain starfruit wine using 5 single fruits compared to 5 dehydrated ones netting 8k? It's just faster losing a profit of almost 7k difference, I was thinking of replacing my winery but I see it's not needed since the dehydrator is making me loss money for faster profit.
So I don't speak English so I don't know what you're explaining but I looked at what you were doing, so I calculated the prices that you showed on the star fruit and it's wrong the dried fruits don't bring in more, knowing that you need 5 fruits to make a jar if you change your price by 5, since you have to put 5 fruits for it to work and well you will see that you are losing money, it is better to bottle of wine it just takes longer that's all but a fruit is a bottle of wine. The dehydrator is not returnable. Always see the redeemable side 😉
felt like i was losing my mind watching this video, the accent, the editing style, the sounds and nonsense added in. designed for late zoomers or something, like good lord so annoying
Personally for me all that the update changed skills-wise is the consideration of Shepard, because 50% value boost on ores is too good to pass up, Angler is amazing, and really foraging it's better to use that space for crops anyways, and iridium forage is nicer than 25% boost on a super late game item that only sells for 1000 G per, and combat is entirely preference
@@ravenman4228 I mean, it is all preference. There is always going to be a "best", but this simply brought a lot more choices in line without feeling completely garbage in the late game. Syrup skill was trash, but with mystic trees + mushroom logs it no longer is (arguably, the combo is now one of the highest earning methods in the game). Also, taking extra coal skill is a good option if one wants to maintain a lot of fish smokers, seeing as fishing is now the top dog in the game; so the more time you can spend fishing rather than spend chopping extra wood (for kilns) or farming coal in the mines, the better. I'd even go as far to say that you can now just go tiller to sell crops, and straight up rely on farming enemies now for money with the books (especially the artifact x3 value one) and beat out the old ways of money making. Update basically just turned it upside down if we look at it from a "meta" perspective.
The dehydrator is given for free in the mushroom cave and only takes 5 of any fruit or mushroom to use which is perfect for crops that drop multiple on one harvest like blueberries or cranberries while freeing preserve jars for higher value crops that arent worth putting in kegs
So if somebody wondering here the calculation, jar is 2x base crop price +50g, keg is 3x base fruit price and 2.25 x base vegetable price, and dehydrator is 7,5 x base price + 25g, so jar is better for vegetable and low price fruit or just use it for roe, keg better for high price fruit and dehydrator is best for mushroom and low price fruit
At 03:52, you have trees that grow to full size but are still extremely close to each other. I've only ever been able to get 1 tree out of four spaces, but you have 2/4 in a diagonal grid. How the heck did you do that? Does it have something to do with the flooring you put between them? Did you have to use tree fertilizer to make it happen? Are you using a mod that allows trees to be closer together?
For Legendary fish, get quality bobber and you will get guaranteed Iridium quality as long as you just catch the fish Pair it with whatever other bobber makes the job easier for you (the larger bar size or lower escape speed) and you will easily be drowing in Iridium legendaries. At this point i already have so much money I'd rather just hoard these fishes for aquarium swag tho
an easier way of getting omni geodes for treasure troves is treasure totems on ginger island you get like 3 from almost every spot and you also get treasure troves
Hello, can u help me? I need to understand how I can find special slimes, can we have them in the farm? and Which floors can we find them? There’s no channel on youtube talking about special slimes ! please 🙏
If you're referring to the prismatic slime from the wizard's special order, then just go to any floor that has slimes and hope it will spawn. Best way is to go to floor 5, and if the slime isn't there, leave the mine and go back to 5 until you get the prismatic slime.
Your thumbnail shows a magma cap on a mushroom log which is misleading and a blatant lie. Your content is already good on its own no need to do such things. Do better
Get access to ginger island, get access to qi's walnut room, get danger in the deep quest there, then do it and if you need it permanent go to altar at 120
click on the junimo house to open its inventory and then put the raisins in there, the next time they harvest, they use the grapes and a little sign appears left of the hut showing a raisin symbol, meaning the "raisin buff" is active. it lasts about a week, then you need to provide new raisins.
