I just tried my first Serge Lutens, Santal Majuscule. It was so different from anything I had gotten my nose on. It was impressive. Not bad pricing, either.
I really like Afnan Highness III (green) as a Royal Oud alternative. The presentation is crazy for $60. It’s beast mode. Not one to one to Creed but gives that vibe just more masculine imo.
Good one Stuart. I am going to sample that Costume National. Another one I would like to try but is very difficult to acquire is Ormonde Jayne Man which is supposed to be a perfect gentleman's scent.
Great Video 👍 I live in Europe and we don't have the Society EdT. There is just the "normal" EdP and the EdP Extreme. Maybe that's why people are confused.
Creed Royal Oud is my favorite out of the 100 bottles of fragrance I have plus it has sentimental meaning I wore it when I met my girlfriend who lives in. Canada
It's crazy how our situations and relationships can get tied to Fragrances. I have had dozens of people say that certain Fragrances remind them of their fathers or wives. Royal oud will be special to you for the rest of your life which is cool
I've been slightly obsessing about Royal Oud lately, not going to spend the Creed money, but trying to find a suitable inspiration. I know I won't get the quality, but I hope to find something that matches the scent profile. Lomani or Oud Royal seem to be the best choices, so far. Society EDT is my Sunday signature sent. It's great for a shirt, tie, dress pants and freshly polished shoes. It hits just right.
Oddly enough, I haven't tried it yet. Everything I have heard about it is positive but coffee doesn't excite me because I have so many coffee Fragrances
