I would add that for those who will likely only visit Disney World once, or for those who don't visit very often (say, once a decade or so) probably won't get that much added value from tacking on the not-so-unsubstantial Park Hopper fee. Getting the most value out of Park Hopper generally takes quite a bit of "know how", planning, and finesse, including understanding how to efficiently navigate the Disney transit system, making and keeping reservations spread between various parks on the same day, etc. Keep in mind that those not used to walking 10+ miles a day will already be doing that in the first park they visit, without adding in all the walking and transferring involved in getting to another park in the same day. If a family has small kids, lots of necessary gear (strollers, bags, carriers, equipment, etc.), or elderly members in their group, I'd highly recommend just sticking to the non-hopper tickets and having a blast in a specific park on a specific day. It just makes planning considerably less complicated, removes several risky "time waster" situations that could arise (transit break downs, heading the wrong direction accidentally, etc.), and saves money that can be put toward other things such as airlines tickets, baggage fees, incidentals, or whatever else will cost money on that vacation. As someone who has spent most of my years in much colder areas than Orlando, I will agree that there are still some times, even in Orlando when it gets chilly. This is mostly during the "off" season (not summer), but it's still worth it to pack a light sweater or a light waterproof or resistant jacket with a liner any time of year. Being chilled detracts from the enjoyment of an already expensive and long-anticipated trip, and you all know the pricing for warmer gear inside the parks is quite high. It doesn't take much to start a shiver, especially on day four of a seven-day trip, after having been through two rain storms and walking dozens of miles already that week. A friend of mine wraps his jacket as tightly as he can and then vacuum-seals it in a durable, reusable plastic bag (not sure of the brand.) That way, he has it dry and on hand whenever he needs it, and when he doesn't, it takes up about as much space as a small water bottle. For shoes, I recommend a pair of light/sports hiking boots or trail runners. They are intended to breathe, tolerate getting wet, and maintain adequate traction...all things that are very useful in an Orlando park situation. From experience, I've found that flip-flops are practically a walking hazard, especially in the rain, and many types of sandals simply chafe too much or don't offer very much foot support. Remember that you'll be on your feet for around a dozen hours every day of the vacation, and it's completely possible to walk twenty or more miles in a single day (if a person is really moving and traveling all around the park, maximizing the FastPass system.) Athletic shoes or standard walking shoes are also a good choice, though they don't usually handle getting soaked and maintaining traction as well as those light hiking boots or trail runners. Buy them several months in advance, break them in, and try walking around in the rain a few times. If they can't hold up to a stroll around the neighborhood on a rainy day, it's unlikely you'll enjoy wearing them for an entire day on a rainy Orlando afternoon. Also, water socks are very different from these boots or trail runners, and something that I would not recommend. They're great for limited walking in deep water, but usually have zero support and often chafe if walking any real distance. Save those for the water parks or the lake. Measure kids in advance and prepare expectations. Let the kids be part of this aspect of the planning process. There are few Disney sights quite as sad as the youngest in a family that's already been waiting in Standby for an hour to learn at the last second that their smallest child isn't tall enough to ride (this usually pulls at least two people out of line.) If you can schedule time off from work, book advance plane tickets, shop around for hotels, coordinate and grab FastPasses months in advance, and all the other things necessary for a far-away Disney World trip, you can certainly pull out a yard stick and print off a list of rides with height requirements at least a month ahead of time. Kids are used to the fact that their age often keeps them from doing many things; they might not think it's fair, but they at least get that it's a reality. Best to let reality hit weeks before the vacation instead of that last second in the ride queue, when they were fully expecting to ride with everyone else. Plenty of rides without height requirements, or rides with lower minimum heights, so savvy parents can split from the pack with the smaller ones for those rides while the older/taller group continues on the more extreme attraction. Last advice: pack some quart sized zip lock bags. Not only are they useful for holding liquids in TSA-approved quantities, but they're great for times when sudden downpours strike and you would like to stick your phone or wallet in a dry place. Also great for water rides like Splash Mountain, Kali River Rapids, or Grizzly River Run. It's never a guarantee, but it's cheap, takes up practically no space, and very convenient at a second's notice. Much better than nothing.
I've already taken my trip to disney, but I still find myself watching these videos!! I find this ladies voice and the background music very relaxing. Can't wait to go back to Disney World!
I don’t disagree with AJ much but on this I do. Here are the real 8 questions 1. When do I want to go 2. Why does that day feel so far away 3. The time has come am I ready? 4. Why would anyone ever wanna leave 5. Is this all a dream? 6. Why does this have to end? 7. Why do I miss it so much 8. When will I start planning my next trip? Immediately after I’ve left the park 😂
Who waits until they leave to start planning the next trip?!? We went in January last year, and before we left we started planning our return trip in October. Bought the airplane tickets while I was standing in line for Pirates of the Caribbean. When we went in October, we started planning our return trip in 2021. That ended up being too long to wait so we are planning a trip to Disneyland in October of this year.
spetsdod1 😂😂true enough. I was planning my next trip while I was there this past September. Was planning on going again this September but new baby due to be on board in July so we had to postpone it. I will be going next year for the 50th year anniversary. It truly is a magical place
Brought my son for the first time when he was 5 (flew all the way from NYC, stayed in Port Orleans on site). He is now 25. When asked what he remembers , honestly, he says "the plane trip". Seriously. Well, at least I had a blast. Suggestion: bring a stroller (even at 5 years old). The walk from our room to the bus was 20 minutes. Best thing we ever did. Waited till he was 8 for next trip and he remembers everything. Suggestion#2: take an 8 year old on all the rides and then on the last day, let your child pick his/her rides! My son went on Space Mountain 7x time a row from 8am-noon and that was fine with us!
One big tip about layering - don't forget to have something to *put* those layers in to carry them around, or to plan a route/schedule that lets you drop them off in a locker! Only thing more awkward than carrying a bunch of clothes around is trying to carry a light saber and a droid around. ;-)
About the age portion: I remember my parents taking me from a young age (since we lived close). I remember riding splash mountain when I was 4 (I’m tall), eating a lollipop, riding in the stroller, and being with family. When we went again when I just turned 10 I remember the resort we were at, eating breakfast at the resort, being too scared to ride test track, going to all the countries in epcot, playing the kim possible game, riding soarin, fireworks, meeting characters and a lot more! I am now 18 and still remember all of this! I think any age is going to memorable and enjoyable no matter what! hope this helps anyone deciding with younger/older kids! About wearing shoes: don’t wear adidas slides to the parks...big big mistake. I did this last year and I was in so much pain.
We're nearly at the 100 day mark, and we've been planning since the 2 year mark (a massive vacation with all my family and my siblings' families, so lots of planning)! And yes, we've had a countdown going basically ever since we decided on approximate dates.
25 for me! We were supposed to go 3 years ago but then a health condition came up with my dad and we couldn’t go :( but it works out since we all really want to see galaxies edge and rise of the resistance!! Been 10 years since we’ve been, way too long! I’m so excited and these videos don’t help the excitement 😆 2 days left for you!
Other than possibly a first-time, four-day trip, you are going to want park hopper for sure. It brings added value to your trip and flexibility in dining options vs. park activity options on the same day. Moving from park to park is easy. Our first night usually involves eating at Epcot and then checking out the castle lit up at night at the Magic Kingdom before our trip really gets started. Park hopper is worth it.
@tomyourmom On our last day before heading on the Mournful Express to the airport, we hop to all four parks to do one thing and get a last look. Epcot and the Magic Kingdom are easy because of Monorail, then it's a boat ride to Hollywood Studios, and finally a bus to Animal Kingdom. Then we return to the resort, board the Mournful Express and return to reality.
"THE RIGHT SHOES" Omg absolutely yes. This will make the difference between an enjoyable trip & a miserable one. Good shoes, designed for walking, already broken in. Don't underestimate the importance of the right socks too. Double sock on long walking days to help reduce friction on your feet. Good running socks (like New Balance's running socks) work amazingly as well. Do yourself a favor & don't wear flip flops. That's asking for blisters.
20 days till we’re there again. Ohhh, I’ve missed it so much. Can’t wait to see all of this years new attractions. We go during the Mardi Gras holidays every year, since we’re from LA. 11 people, three days, three different parks. Do not forget sunscreen and snacks! But most importantly, have a magical time!
We have found that the few weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are a really sweet time to hit the parks as well. Most people have just traveled for Thanksgiving or will be for Christmas so park attendance is very light. We have gone at this time for the past couple of years and will continue to do so. Added bonus is that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party event is going on at this time as well and is a great event.
We went this past year during this time frame for the first time and it was incredibly crowded compared to other times we've been. After chatting with several people who attend at this time regularly, they said it was much busier. Unfortunately social media has let that secret out.
Video suggestion - Best rides (if any) for people with a history of back problems. Up until a few weeks ago, my thought was, back problems be darned, I'm going to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, etc., anyway! Now that my back is giving me problems again (and nor due to any unusual activities), I realize that's a bad idea. So is there any ride with a little bit of excitement that we folks with back issues can ride?
My mom would say the best time to take your kid to Disney is 21. Coincidentally I turned 21 at Trader Sam’s Grotto (midnight), went back to bed, and spent the rest of my 21st in Epcot. Mom was there in tow 🍹🥂🍷
Disney has closed two of its parks (Shanghai Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland) in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Given the cases of person-to-person transmission and the declaration of the coronavirus outbreak as a global public health emergency by the World Health Organization, I wonder if there will be more Disney park closures?
@@Sabrina-tl8gw I just read it is expected to peak in April or May. SARS lasted 6 months - this one is not expected to last as long, but no one knows for sure.
A gift then. Go to Disney Springs. The Disney Vacation Club, give the guy a listen. He might make an offer, take him up on it. It's just sitting in a room listening to the spiel. The thing is he'll make it worth your time. Was worth a hundred bucks to me.
Angry the Clown did the same thing and we got 3 free fast passes (couldn’t be used at Slinky Dog or FOP) and we got to see Animal Kingdom Lodge. Did it on our rest day, which was not part of our planning, and it ended up being one of the funniest experiences that we keep talking about
Well, if you choose January to go thinking it’s less crowded make sure the pro bowl isn’t in the area. I was there last week. I would have been better off going in October like I usually do.
9:28 I totally agree with bringing a reusable bottle. My current recommendation is the "Brita 20 Ounce Filter Double Wall Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle" (bought on amazon). (UPDATE: HOWEVER BE AWARE THAT BRITA DOES NOT SELL REPLACEMENT PARTS! IF YOU NEED A NEW MOUTHPIECE YOU HAVE TO BUY A WHOLE NEW BOTTLE) I used this during my WDW trip last week and it worked GREAT. The filter removed that 'Florida tap water taste' everyone talks about. The Double Wall Insulated Stainless Steel keeps the ice and water cold for hours and also prevents condensation from forming on the outside of the water bottle that you would get with a none insulated water bottle.
Laura E.T. Hey! Where did you purchase your Brita water bottle from? I’m going to WDW in April and I want a water bottle exactly like yours, preferably Brita. Thanks!
Something to think about with little kids... We've taken ours when they were 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 (not that many trips but different ages) but the one thing to know is that when they are really small (1-4) it's not a trip for them per say, it's a trip for the family. They won't remember it but you as the parents will and it'll be great to go back to the pictures of how much fun they had on the trip even though they won't really remember it. Also with the little kids don't forget rider swap! our littlest couldn't do most rides but we could do them with our older one so we could do 7dwarves 2x (one adult each time) with her. Side note we just went for 1 night around xmas time and are planning our next trip in Dec!
We took our daughter to Disney when she was three at while she remember quite a bit, especially meeting the characters, she says she didn't really appreciate it. Took her again when she was six and she absolutely loved every minute. (And she got on more rides).
Watched you for about a year getting ready for my honeymoon and thought that’s it, nope your videos make us wanna go back. It’s hard not to love this place and I can’t wait for the 50th anniversary
WDW's 50th Anniversary will be the same year as my wife and I's 45th Anniversary, which would be a great time to go. But we haven't been able to make it back after our only trip so far, in 1991. This time next year is when I'd want to go. Fingers are always crossed.
Hotel I like in a near by location is the Flamingo Resort. It is small and a little dinky. Looks a little rough around the edges, BUT! Location is great. Staff were extremely nice and accommodating. And the in resort pool is very accessible!
Last year I was struggling with plantar fasciitis and on my trip to Vegas, which is also very walking-heavy, I wore my tevas flat forms and they didn't hurt my feet AT ALL! highly recommended!
We stay off site at Comfort Inn. They are nice hotels and give you a lot without a lot of money. I just bring my own food in. They do allow food container that keep food warm. We are going in Oct. and can't wait. We took my niece at age 7. I thought that was old enough. I sure hope my bad back doesn't keep me from the rides because I don't stand up 100% straight but it's not bad.
A good tip could be to divide youre Orlando trip into two vaccations, one stay at at Disney resorts for four or five days to do all things Disney and a second trip for all the other parks in Orlando and KSC if you are space interested. That way you can be in the disney bubble for that journey and visit places like Universal and Sea World on youre second trip. Orlando has so much more to offer than WDW but is huge. Johan.
Johan M that is what I do. I coming to the states for the first time. We start with a few days Disney. Then we go around Florida for 10 days. And we end up in universal for a few days. Then back to netherlands
Mariska Van opstal I dont know how much you have traveled in the past but be sure to have youre ESTA visa waiver in order before the arrivial. That and a valid passport are key to get through Customs and migrations at the airport. J.
Mariska Van opstal Be sure to has it down as soon as possible. Youll have a two year period to use it on and the ambassy can take some time to gget it through. ESTA is one thing you dont want to be late with. J.
I brought my 7 month old to Disney in May and she had the best time. And I was still able to enjoy the rides by using Rider Switch and she napped perfectly fine in her stroller. I am taking her again in a week and I am sure it will be equally as enjoyable.
I need to know more about bringing a bag to Disney World. How big of a bag should I bring? Can I take the bag on rides with me or do I need to rent a storage locker? Other than stuff like a poncho, what else should I bring in my bag? I was considering going to Disney World without a bag at all. Just my wallet, phone, ticket, and hotel key in my pockets. I don't feel I *need* a poncho because getting wet doesn't really bother me. And I'll be dressing light because while 68°F/20°C might be cold for Floridians, that's summer weather for a Canadian! The only thing I might consider lugging around with me is, as you said, a refillable water bottle. Although, I might look into finding a collapsible water bottle or cup that I can stuff in my pocket. One thing for backpacks, and the main reason I was considering bring one, was as a safe place to keep my phone on rides. I'm terrified that I'm going to sit on a ride and my phone's just going to slip out of my pocket and I won't notice, or I'll go on a roller coaster and I go through a big loop and it'll just fall out. I don't own any pants or shorts with zippered pockets and they're surprisingly difficult to find in my size. After a couple weeks of searching, I was only able to buy a pair of shorts with some Velcro on them, but I don't think it's enough to guarantee my phone won't find a way to wiggle out of them. I could wear a jacket with zippered pockets, but again, I'm afraid I'd be too hot.
As far as I know you can bring your bag on all Disney World rides, and the ones you can't like Flight of Passage, have a little storage area before you take off.
UltraPrimal the bag depends on how much you want to bring. I use one of the Jansport mini backpacks and it perfect fits my 20 oz refillable water bottle, wallet, poncho, sunscreen, keys, and a sweater in the main compartment with room in the smaller front compartment for hand sanitizer and wipes :) it easily fits between my legs on rides, I just loop one end around my foot just in case!
I’ve brought backpacks in with my portable phone charger, water bottle, a sweatshirt, and sunblock. Extra space is used for whatever nicknacks or cake pops I buy to eat while in line (last day you can’t get stuff sent to hotel). However if I’m not buying stuff, I wear my tiny Loungefly backpack and it holds everything no problem. My bags went on the ride with me, or were close by on the ride.
I use a medium sized backpack. I carry a sweatshirt, phone charger, tissues, hand sanitizer, hand wipes, journal and pen, phone, camera, toiletries, etc. Not really any extra room unless I'm wearing the sweatshirt or it's around my waist. I'm so tempted by the Loungefly backpacks, but they wouldn't hold the sweatshirt so I'm debating about leaving the sweatshirt home and bringing something that takes up very little room.
I’d definitely recommend bringing at least a small bag or something with a zip, most rides don’t have anywhere to store items and they have to stay on the ride with you so I wouldn’t be comfortable just keeping stuff in pockets
You absolutely cannot miss your reusable water bottle!! You'll get dehydrated really fast. Ours had a filter installed just in case, and we were drinking water constantly which helped a lot on hot days.
Our family went last year and it was AMAZING!! Also, if you want to meet jack and sally GET IN LINE FAST! Do haunted mansion at the very end of the parade for no line or wait! 😜 have fun!
THERE IS RAIN IN THE WINTER IN FLORIDA!!!!!!!! THERE IS ALOT!!!! i recommend short rain boots on days rain is expected!!! This is from a person who has lived in Florida all my life, and goes to disney every other week!!
My 8 questions: 1. WHY do you want to go? (Galaxy's Edge and Space 220, which missed its opening, and so we missed it :( ) 2. Can you afford it? (if you have to ask, you can't...) 3. Is there anywhere else you can go at a comparable or lower price? (like.. Europe) 4. Will you find food to eat there? (a real problem if you're vegetarian and don't want a diet of dole whip and beyond burgers) 5. Can you handle massive crowds? (no.. not really.. I have ochlophobia) 6. Can you handle waiting 120 mins for a 2 minute ride? (except the events at Galaxy's Edge, which are far better organised) 7. Can you handle walking continuously for 10-12 hrs a day? (honestly? no.. but I endured) 8. Can your pancreas handle in one week more sugar than a human should eat in a year? (to my surprise - apparently, yes!) Bonus 9. Are you an American who pines for life in rural USA in the 1940s? (no and no - case in point, the Carousel of Progress ends in 1995 because... nothing's happened in 25 years? Actual line "I can't believe there are still people who don't have car phones.. only home phones..." Yeeahhhh.... :) )
Will be there for the first time this coming Feb 25-28th. Then Disney Fantasy for 7 day cruise. We just did Disneyland at Christmas for the first time to. Love your video great help.
I watch EVERY DFB video and have purchased the DFB 2020 Dining Guide (and yes, reading all 870+ pages) -- I love the tips and sometimes, need the repetition to remember something and write it down on my spreadsheet as a note or To-Do Item. Thanks AJ! I'm praying that by the time I go to Galaxy's Edge after Easter, the ROTR has FastPass+ or they don't "sell out" of Boarding Groups by 7:05 am!
No matter rain or not, I have to wear athletic shoes when I do as much walking as I do. I have arthritis in my feet from my past career and standing on my feet for 30+ years! I have to have the support that running or walking shoes offer.
@@sarahgonzales82 We went to rides and restaurants that have A/C to rest, also we brought umbrellas for the rain and the sun, but we're from Puerto Rico, we're used to the heat!
Sarah, I wore a hat to keep the sun off of me, and drank lots of water when I was there last summer. And I drank some Powerade to replace those lost electrolytes. (Unfortunately a small bottle of it in the park costs like 4 bucks!) Have a magical time in September!
My favorite time at Disney is October and early November although the timing doesn't always work because of school schedules. Last year we went in December closer to X-mas than we like but we made it work. The key no matter what time you are there is to give yourself enough time so you don't have to rush and can relax a bit and not stress.
My biggest issue has been with the price of food at a park. So the free disney dining is a big deal for me. Our schedule is crazy so booking way ahead of is also an issue. When you think about what you've already paid to go in the park and then add food on top of it. When you start paying though $15 for a fast food burger, MMMMMmmmm..... and I have to admit after we went on our last trip to Chef Mickeys and I saw the bill. I usually try to not let it bother me, but it did. I had to ask myself, was it really worth that much? So then we went to Trails End and the carved meat was really fatty/not good quality. and again, the MMMMmmmmmm... I don't mind paying a decent price for decent food.
I absolutely LOVE your channel and blog and refer to it constantly! That being said, you could really use an update on what to eat in animal kingdom! I’m going in about a week and need some updated info! ❤️❤️❤️
At Disneyland...I went in November...the day temperature was pleasant, ONCE the sun went down, !it was COLD...ave a jacket or sweatshirt....maybe get a locker!
Question 9: Is this too much trouble that I should just visit the OTHER theme park (Universal Orlando)? 😁 On a more serious note, Universal is becoming more popular. Late January is no longer as slow as you might think. The Brazilians POURED into the hotel on my last day, which was around mid-January. And even when I was there, the Brits, Irish and Australians filled the bus pretty quickly to the point that I realized I never sat down. Every trip to the parks was standing room only! wow...
1). AJ, is Joey not working for you any more? Love you but miss him. 2) Would you consider doing a crossover with The Dis Unplugged? I love both your shows and I think it would be great if fans of both of you discover each!
Okay I have a challenge. Heading to Florida this summer for a complete tour of the state. We've been to Disney a few times but friends coming with us haven't. We have for days in Orlando and want to do Seawold and a water park. Just wondering how best to see Disney in tow and a bit days. Figure that The waterpark wont take a whole day. Any tips/ideas would be great.
Let me tell you the Wizarding World is cool at Universal but pretty small and will cost you nearly about $175 to do, since it's spread out in 2 parks. The rest of Universal was very underwhelming. The audacity of them to charge the same prices as Disney. My advice, skip it entirely (unless you're a big HP fan and need to experience it) and save your money for a better Disney experience
Help please I cant find an answer anywhere! I know to get boarding passes you have to link all party members together on the app. But do you HAVE to link your park tickets to the app in order to get a boarding pass for rise of the resistance?!?
We plan on going in November and when we went to Universal we brought a backpack and had a hard time getting it into lockers will we have the same problem at disney
Last trip to Disney, I brought my refillable water bottle since I had just learned about the water at some counter serve restaurants. However, when I found one to use, there was a sign saying to only use the provided cups to get water. I saw cast members stopping people from filling up bottles as well. Do you know if this is a new policy that they have ? I cant remember exactly which counter serve location it was but it was a pretty big bummer.
thefliplife1 it’s for sanitary reasons. They don’t want people to put the lip of the bottle up to the water dispenser just in case it touches and then your germs are transferred to something many people drink from. Just fill the cups they have and then transfer it to your water bottle. That’s what we’d tell folks at the quick service location I worked in. :)
Ariana Martinez thank you so ,ugh for the explanation!! This makes sense. I thought it meant I wasn’t allowed to fill up my bottle at all! Thank you again.
My husband and son (4yo) are on my account. Neither one can make reservations or FPs without their own accounts, but they're included in our plans that I make for us. If you're going with more than one room's worth of people, it may be a better strategy for those with smart phones to make and link accounts. Anyone with their own account can modify or update plans for anyone in the linked vacation group as you go, which helps in large groups that split up for part of the day.
Hey :) Thanks for those videos ! I'm beginning to plan a trip in May 2021 but I want to be sure the WDW 50th anniversary celebration will have begun... Do you think May 2021 is good or should I wait May 2022 ? Thank you so much :)
Chocapic31 the 50th will most likely officially start October 1st, 2021 so if you’re trying to embrace all of the new rides, shows, etc., I’d recommend going in May 2022
We decided to plan for Jan/Feb 2022 so all the renovations and refurbs will be completed, and hopefully also have fewer crowds. 🤞🏼 Haven’t been since 2001 so while I know a lot has changed, we still thought it would be better to wait the extra year. Also gives us extra time to save money to help make the most of the trip.
Thanks for asking this - I had the same question. My only problem is I want to combine a cruise with Disney and the cruise I prefer is only offered by RCI in 2021 but Disney would be better in 2022. 🤔
To be honest, ive always been afraid to go to Disney World because its too big, so much to do and i'd feel overwhelmed to go because i like to relax and sleep in on vacations and theres no sleeping in at disney world..but my family and I took the plunge and booked last month for July 2020
You're going to love it! Do it your way and don't worry about it. If you just have to do it all you have to do rope drop to fireworks, but otherwise you can make it a leisurely trip and plan to go back. We go every other year and go to the beach and relax on the year we don't go to Disney.
Hi! I noticed that in Animal Kingdom, Rivers of Light (the evening show) is on FastPass. Is this necessary? Isn't the show available for viewing anywhere around the park lake? Do I need to burn a fastpass on this?
Don't sign up for evening shows for your 60 or 30 day fast passes. Once you use your three you can get more passes one at a time. Use a secondary pass for evening shows.
Thanks so much for your suggestion. Good idea : ) Already there are items I want Fast Passes for but they're already out. I guess i'll just keep checking to see if anything opens up.
I’m going august / september 2021 because I’ll be 18 so my child trust fund is gonna come in but I won’t be at uni yet so I can pretend I don’t know the value of money and spend maybe just a liiiittttle bit too much
Here is a question.. I've grown up going to Disney almost every year since I was a kid.. But it's it worth going later this year with all the construction going on right now. It looks to me like Epcot is a definite no.. Correct me if I'm wrong
locutusnj having just gotten back - yeah, EPCOT future world is like a tour of walls and shrubbery. But I really loved seeing it in progress and the presentation of the EPCOT Experience over in the Odyssey was great. So if you know what to expect and can reframe it as seeing what’s coming and it won’t financially keep you from going once it’s all done, I’d say it’s worth it.
@@aliciamarsh-evans6135 .. Thanks for the info Going this summer I would go but I heard more info on more attraction closings. I'll probably wait until I get down there and see what's open and what's not before I decide if I'm going to hit Epcot. Go every time I'm there but with all that's going on.. They should discount the tickets. I'm not paying over a hundred bucks for me and my family if we get there and half of the attractions are closed
