Hello Biba!! You've made me to fall in love with NS. I do appreciate all those attributes. I look forward to land there soon and meet you. Regards fom Dominican Republic!
Lived in Toronto my whole life. So, so unhappy here. Stressful, expensive, road rage, awful. I want to move to Nova Scotia. Your wonderful video makes me feel so excited to get out there!! Thank you!😊🌸
Same and same! My anxiety is growing everyday living here. It’s so busy. You have to drive far to get to a clean enough beach, which is still overcrowded. Can’t afford to live even 3 hrs away from an airport. People are living in purgatory here. I so badly want to move to the east coast because it’s always felt like home there for me
Well you got me sold ! I live on Vancouver Island and it is extremely boring been here almost 6 yrs and not one friends it is extremely hard to make freinds here I want to go to the east where the people are freindly 😢
Moving to NS soon from Lagos. this video is making me so happy & relaxed. i was still thinking hm this NS that i’ve never heard before gbese but now i’m really eager to move. Thank you ma’am
Canadian girl through and through, Ontario born and raised, and I've been LONGING to move to Nova Scotia for years now (trying to convince my husband is my only hurdle haha) - honestly, I don't know what it is, but as soon as you started talking, I felt this immediate connection to you. I literally got tears in my eyes and thought, I want to hug this woman! (I'm not trying to be creepy haha). Very well explained about the benefits of one of the most beautiful pieces of Canada!! 🥰🥰🥰
@@bibascanadianjourney We visited in 2016 for a friend's wedding, and at the time, he was just as convinced as I was. But he has a real fear of change, and that's a really gigantic change. I just have to keep working at him. 😁

Such a wonderful video!!! I've seen a few videos from another Nigerian youtubers and I love the energy and vibe you all share. Greeetings from Colombia.
US guy here, but a Canadian at heart. My family has been coming to NS for nearly 25 years and it never disappoints. The people, the maritime culture, and sheer beauty make this a precious jewel in North America. We finally purchased a modest summer place on the Eastern Shore this year and are loving life. We plan to come up year after year and soak in this amazing world. Great video, Biba and spot on!
Thank you😊. What part of Scotland are you from? I lived in Aberdeen for 5 years and studied at the Robert Gordon University. You'll love Nova Scotia, it reslly reminds me of Scotland 😊
@@bibascanadianjourney I'm from Glasgow! That's so nice to hear, I hope you enjoyed living here, I love Scotland but a lot of young people are priced out of the property ladder so I am looking elsewhere to buy currently. Do you prefer Nova Scotia? I am hoping it will be a home away from home :)
@@erintennant3966 My husband and I really love it- and the real estate market is favourable for all ages. Housing here is affordable. I am sure you'd like it here 😊
I usually don’t leave comments but your video is so nice and friendly I just couldn’t go by!! You seem very happy 😊 Thank you for the video, I was looking for the right province to move to and I think I made my choice :)
Hello, Biba! I'm planning to apply for a permanent residency in Canada too! Your content helped me finally decide to choose Nova Scotia as my designated province 😍Please pray for me that I'll get approved 🙏🏼
Hi, you just got a new subscriber here. I will get in touch with you when my visa is out. I am coming to Halifax for study. Thanks for the video. It was helpful and I just subscribed 😘
Thanks Biba. You have re-enforced my preference for Nova Scotia. Though so many comments on fewer job opportunities compared to other provinces. I hope one can easily land an accounting job there.
So also remember that Nova Scotia is a small province and when compared to provinces like Ontario, Alberta, Quebec etc , it is easy for people to say they're fewer jobs. However, from my experience and perspective there's enough jobs for the number of people living here.
I like your honest review. I'm currently making the move with my family to Nova Scotia and hopefully be able to join healthcare practice in Yarmouth and I will gladly contribute to the community. I hope Asian Immigrants are welcome.
I enjoyed watching your videos...I like to visit Nova scotia...I have been to Toronto twice...like to experience this province ...I like to get in touch with you...take care!
Hello Rohanie, thanks for watching my videos 😊. Actually Toronto is one of the provinces I'd really love to visit, we wanted to go this year, but there's some restrictions. We hope to make the trip next year by Gods grace 🙏
Hello Biba... Was glad I listened to your channel today. I got an admission into Cape Breton University and I'm awaiting my Study visa... I'm glad very soon I will also experience all yoy said! Not regretting I chose the school after all. Cheers
Hello Dollypee, wow congrats on your admission, I'm soo happy for you. Please keep in touch 🙏, good luck with your visa application 😀. And please keep me posted!
Hello Biba, Am Israel from Ghana. A new immigrant currently in Calgary, Alberta. I just got a job at the Government of Nova Scotia. Moving to Halifax soon. Would be glad if I could in touch with you.
Oh Wow, congrats. You are definitely going to love it here. Do you know which department you are going to be in? I know quite a few people that work work with the government of NS. Sure let's keep in touch. Are you on Instagram, you can send a direct message to @bibascanadianjourney and ill respond immediately. Looking forward to welcoming you to NS.
Great, love your video. I was planning on moving to Calgary Alberta but it's like I'm having a second thought about nova Scotia. Pls tell me what is their tax rate, cos I researched & Alberta has the lowest tax rate, & their transport system? Thanks.
Taxes in Alberta are the lowest in Canada and jobs are plentiful, making it a popular place to live. Alberta is much bigger than our small province with many more cities ( we have two). Our sales tax on goods and services in Nova Scotia is 15%. It is called the Hamonized Sales Tax because it is a combination of the provincial and federal government sales taxes combined. Alberta is the only province without any provincial sales tax at all. As fir transportation, public transport exists in the Halifax/ Dartmouth region ( our capital city) in the form of busrs only. Public transport does not exist in any other part of the province. Most people have their own means of transportation. Nova Scotia is very rural with countryside, villages and towns mostly. There is so much distance between communities that public transport would be costly and would not be very profitable. In the past, one could take the train into and out of Halifax for the day and between smaller communities as well , but few trains run here anymore.
Lovely video. With positive energy.. I got admission to University of Manitoba.. And am processing my study visa.. Would definitely love to visit Nova Scotia
I am happy to found your channel... I'm a Nigerian and I desire to also move to Canada. How? I don't know but I heard you spoke about express entry. Do you have a video on this or can you do a video on this?
Hello Tita, its my pleasure. So Nova Scotia has 4 seasons - right now its spring, so its wet and cold but not winter cold. Summer is very hot and lovely. Winter like most part of Canada is extremely cold, but its not as cold as Saskatchewan or Manitoba. So I guess you can say the weather is typical of any province in Canada. You get used to it though 😁😊
I am one of your follower and I am interested in moving from Kenya to novascotia and I am an insurance agent and wanted to come there and proceed with that particular carrier I contacted the training institution over there which trains and giving licences .she told me I need to get employment first to insurance company in novascotia and work with them for some period of time to enable me go to school and get certification. How can you help me out plz???
Hello Betty 😊 - So when thinking of relocating to Canada this a skilled worker the first thing to do is to confirm you meet the eligibility criteria. This is where I come in. So what I do with my videos is provide FREE guidance and recommendations so that people can use and do all the legwork for themselves (DIY)
This video will help you get started ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HZV-D_HgR-E.html Kindly watch this and evaluate yourself to confirm if you meet the criteria Then we can take it from there
In Nov 2021, Nova Scotia announced that it will make it easier for 5 black communities to get clear titles for their land. Without legal title, they could not sell their land or pass on their land to relatives.
Single Malawian gent in 30s with certificate in hospitality management 2 yrs experience as an Assistant manager would these qualifications suitable to get a job offer there Iwant to migrate there after Covid19
May I ask please, what are the NOC that are highly needed in Nova Scotia? I got admission into cape Breton University to study post baccalaureate diploma in health care management
Hello 😊, congrats on your admission to CBU. By the way were you able to watch this video from begining to the end, I'm asking because the video details the in demand NOC codes in Nova Scotia 😀
I smashed the like button that hard, my mouse is now broken :-) You have such a nice personality, it was music to listen to your explanations! Keep it up and thank you so much for the information! Me and my girl plan to immigrate to Canada as well, especially NS. Only problem for us is to find a job offer, to file in our application. One thing I experienced is that people are afraid of foreign nationals job applications. Most of the employers even do not answer at all if you are currently out of country and have no valid work permit. A bit frustrating at the moment...
Hello Sebastian, I hope you're doing good- thanks for your kind words 🙏 😊. Yes you're right, its abit difficult trying to get a job from overseas- but once you get in its easier. Have you started your PR application?
Hello Beverly, coconut oil is sold in most grocery stores ,like Walmart. I get my shea butter from a store called the Tare shop. You can check them out on Instagram- they sell loads of natural products.
Hello AN- I feel very safe as a black woman in Nova Scotia. I have encountered some racism - but never have I felt unsafe. On a whole I would say that the people who are welcoming are much more than those who are not.
