Living in India is actually quite good if only we did a better job with our infrastructure, filth, and general public discipline. It is only after living in places like Japan, US, UK, etc. that we realize that what shines from a distance is not necessarily great.
Ha then comeback to India then why get settled abroad permanently! 😂 Obviously because India is not going to change with 1 billion plus people there is filth everywhere in each town city and village and NH and trains connecting them all
US people are rich if they have small or normal businesses cause at there business has value and if u earn 3.5,4k $ per month that in itself helps u in everything Nearly but yeah in european countries it’s hard by alot.
dude you forgot the lower middle class and the majority of people in India, they do not earn living wages that can help them to afford houses, car, proper food, and education. we do not pay them that well in India, that is why they live in illegal places and slums, also this is the same reason things look cheap in comparison to developed countries. If you start paying minium living wage in India to all the lower wrokforce , things will also get expensive in India and they will have a decent life.
For optimists, if we take the contrary of what all he said. If you know Japanese Language N2-N3 and you are non-veg i.e you love seafoods Takoyaki, beef, pork, Chicken etc. If you don't have fascination about cars, would love to live in a smaller city with plenty of natural beauty etc Then Japan is a dream country for you.
Really, Japan is this one country which can be accessed without a car! Car ownership always costs no matter where we live. For Vegetarians, they've to learn to cook. They've to schedule their time properly and can prepare some Meal preps for a quick cooking or something to save time. Learning to cook actually saves money for Non-veg foodies as well. Afterall, eating out everyday is expensive.
@@er.esakkim8781vegetarians don't think about the problems non vegetarian people face. The discrimination they face. It's good. Let the vegetarian people have a taste of their own medicine.
Surprised to see the level of peace there... I cannot hear anything except chirping birds and the wind.... No honking cars etc.. and pleasant to see few bicycles pass by... You cannot get this level of peace even in a meditation centre in india 😅..
Now I understand why sinchan always said that his father was in debt. His mother wasn't able to pass driving licence exam. And nobita begin unable to travel with his family
For true Japan lovers, this video will never ever be a source of discourage, thank you for sharing the facts, good and odds make every nation, no nation is perfect. Facing challenges is a part of life.
@@abhikun94if you are influenced by watching anime then you are utterly immature, I would say life in India is much easier if not India, uk is also good. Initial life in a foreign country is always exciting but it gradually grows on you till start feeling unusual 👍
I stayed in Japan for little over 6 years early year 2000. Now I am back to India but miss every thing I did that freedom, challenge, thrill, culture, peace and warmth of people. I earned decent stayed jyutakukodan 100k rent but spacious living. Miss tatami, ofuro, delicious seafood, variety of sake, local beer, sashimi, sushi, okonomiyaki, soba, udon, yakitori and tempura off course. Long my visits to kyoto, kiyomizudera, arashiyama, miyajima, nara and many such prestine heavenly places.
@@suraj_danu yes that's right but I have seen that even in US, Europe ... there is always racial complexes but one should factor that in, try to understand people and culture and best adjust. Japanese don't like showy or overly extroverts. I could speak Japanese when I went there that was a big advantage for many liked to understand my culture watched me before they became friendlier. But as I went there to work besides experience new place and culture. I took it sportingly when someone sounded sarcastic I also played ignorance 🙃.
Superb & balanced advise.👍👍👍. And the places you mention ring such a pleasant bell.. 👌👌. Precisely the sort of mature & studied opinion that os required. No situation (esp foreign work locale) is absolutely smooth & easy. Be ready to adopt & adapt. And btw, how much so ever I may like my country, there is simply no comparison between living & work conditions of India vs Japan.. The cleanliness, basic convenience in walking on streets & roads, public transport, parking , govt Interface, even local work culture, interaction with Japanese colleagues (In India, its a shit-house with malicious office politics everywhere) , the focus on quality, perfection in each & every task...is simply awesome & cannot be compared with India. and sorry to state that.. Because of elementary differences in sheer population, the enormous difference in spending power, incomes is so great, that apart from. few (very few) pockets in large cities, India can never get there., atleast another 25 years. (And that too if imbecile RaGa doses not wrest powenxt yr r via a rag-tag political alliance & turn the economy back on its head) //sorry to get political here, but it cannot be denied that Modi did substantial got IN/JP relations // Be that as it may, I shudder to think of the reverse, of how a Jap expat would survive in, India.. No wonder Japanese, Korean expats are paid really generous 'hardship allowance'. Coz it must ve just so tough for them, and if they get family here then it's a entirely different ball game altogether. For domestic comparison, Tokyo & Mumbai are akin to comparing living with say a Lucknow or Ujjain in UP with a Pune /Mumbai in Maharashtra. There are pockets of excellence, but very far & few,.
Konichiwa, Been there done that. You have covered almost all points. I feel you bro. I had time of my life living in Tokyo though. It also made me independent. I miss living there sometimes. Nice vlog! Mata ne
I lived in japan for more than 20 years and i can say that if u are a permanent resident and u are paying everything by yourself is a very hard thing . A lot of people does not understand how to live in japan. You have to pay too much taxes and everything is really expensive. Those taxes are (road tax, health insurance/pension is a must to pay, house rent, electricity bills .gas bills , internet bills, fone bill, resident tax, salary tax . This is just an example calculation base on my experience. Salary/month 180000 Salary tax 9000/10000 Shakai hokken/ insurance 30000/38000 depends on age Fone bills 8000 up Apartment 40000 up depends how big Internet 6000 Electricity 4000 up depends on usage Water bill 2000 mostly every 2 months Gas 8000 up depends on usage Car gasoline 8000 depends of the usage Car shakken(2 years) 80000 up depends on car Parking 4000 up every month Resident tax is 10% ~up of your whole year salary . And lastly food.. food is expensive in japan As i was alone my food cost me 40000-50000 every month. So as i gave a sample of bills on normal areas (not tokyo) u can see how much costly in japan and your salary is not that high to cover all of it. That’s why most people there specially foreigners do double jobs to atleast save a little or send money to their families. And now i am happily living in india with my indian husband. I honestly love japan but when u get older u will realize that its not worth it. Specially nowadays the economy of japan is pretty bad. But its easy to find a job in japan actually when u have proper visa. Highschool grad or didn’t even finish elementary is accepted on factories as long as u can do the job. And lastly don’t ever forget u can’t be noisy is japan. Loud music/tv or u yourself is very loud . It’s not allowed or the police will knock on your door because japanese people will report u. Even if it’s afternoon or the sun is up it doesn’t matter. Noise is not allowed there.
Australia returned to India after 7 year residence. You are paying for the privilege to live in the country. Taxes get recycled into society. Indians have a migrant mindset where they want to squeeze every dollar/yen l, multiply it br Rs 60 and send it to India using unofficial channels or low cost forex remittance operators. Most Australians/Japanese live very tight and you are no better nor worse off than the locals. If you want to send cash back to India, work in an oil rig in Saudi Arabia.
We have lived in many countries: the UK, the USA, Australia, India and Japan. Japan is the best regarding safety and cleanness. PR (Permanent Resident-ship) is possible if you work for about 10 years. Language is a problem but in your work place it is not a problem. Public transport is very efficient and always available. Vegetarian food is available in the restaurants, Indian restaurants, and in MossBurger. If you go back to India once a year you can use International Driving License, which lasts for one year. Children's education is a problem. If your child does not want to learn Japanese you have to find out International School or send your child to India to stay with relatives.
The problem is veg food is not available everywhere bro. And you can't dine in or out daily in a restaurant. Also Indian restaurants in japan are expensive as hell. A 10 rupee samosa costs 500 yen there. You wont even save anything.
Children education in japan? lmao HELL NAAH I would never let my kids to even enter any asian school, INDIA-JAPAN-KOREA-SINGAPORE, competition is too high in these schools, not forgetting bullying problem is very real. Better option is europe.
Only if they have decided to live in Japan, school education doesn't mean sh*t, India is still better when comes to school education, don't even talk about practicality, it is same everywhere. College education matters which sucks in India, the most.@@utkarsh1874
Nice video, all good points. Some factors that you mention, like car insurance, garage rent, housing rent, non-concrete walls, household chores, they are common in many countries, UK, USA, Canada included. Language and culture is perhaps the biggest factor when it coms to Japan, but I guess that's what makes it fun to live there.
It's sad to say why these people say the negative side of Japan always ...Specially south Asian countries ...I think ,Many South Asians who are already in Japan do not like others of their mother countries conming to Japan ....Yes,some bad points r there ...But you can win them and have a good life in a country like Japan ....These South Asians try to dimotivate others ...Why do not they leave Japan ,if its difficult to live???
If indians want to migrate, the best is to go to english speaking countries like US,UK,Canada and Australia. I have seen many indians struggling in EU countries because of the language.
You opened my eyes I am a vegetarian and particularly from south. I am searching for a person like you to tell frankly about Japan. Thank you very much once again.
Sorry to say but OTC medicines for fever is very much available in Japan! However, taking other medicines without the prescripton from a certified physician is one of the worst things you can do to your body. So, not being able to buy these drugs without a prescription actually beneficial for long term.
Sir I am applying for Masters Research Scholarship in MEXT, do I have to submit the university placement form alongwith the application form before shortlisting or I have to submit university placement form after being selection.
Excellent Video. I totally agree with his comments. I have been there, sent by my company and stayed there for a few days. I can totally relate.. Good job Aditya..!
Thanks for the reality checks. People coming from lower-middle or middle class really needs to see this video as they think a lot for any big expenses. Another check - People being anime fans and all. It's good for tourism but living there is whole different game. After marriage, expenses doubles then after having kids, expenses will be multiplied. Someone might say I am working in top-notch IT company with great salary. Good for you. This video is not for 1%.
bro how did you prepared for language proficiency Exams for MEXT, I can deal with the English language but about the japanese lanuage exam like i am at complete zero and i have only 3 weeks for preparation. is there any ways to prepare to atleast for minimum score
Good one brother. Thks for all the relevant and imp info. Your video has affirmed my decision of being a long term tourist (say couple of months or so) vs living there! :)
sir the way aap calmly ek ek point ko explain krte ho is what attracts me to watch your videos it feels my big brother is teaching me and giving me guidence to what to do and what not thanks a lot bhaiya😇
All this information should be known to whoever wants to settle or work in Japan. Good that you made video on this but these are pre requisite that one must explore.
Well, the only issue is the Japanese language ability. One must need N2 level to work. Traveling is not difficult and veg food is available. For housing look for Government rental housing known as UR housing. PR possible in 5 years with a good degree and job. But currently, I think job opportunities are shrinking.
He shared obviously true and positive things but these type of difficulties are everywhere and if u can't manage these things u are never gonna leave your home like small kid🙂
All the points you have mentioned are similar for uk, us and typically any other foreign countries. When you move out of your comfort zone you have to face all of this bro. Chores one was hilarious. You have to do your things if you move out of your country. Thats the basic. Cost of living is not free in india as well. If you live in cities it will cost you a lot. Please move back and dont go to other countries as you dont seemed to be ready for such a big move. Fyi, veg issue is same everywhere, car is needed in us, uk.
i have lived in japan for 7 years till 2016 the ony challenge you will face is language and regarding food and other lifestyle challenges if you cant cook cant do daily chores you are introvert cant handle initial struggle then my dear friend dont come.
Hey, is there any scholarship for 37 years old? I'm extension year of my PhD in China. I have hsk4 and am studying n5. May be can prepare n4 too. I'm 36. I prefer another PhD. I want long visa. I've been abroad since 2008. I eat takoyaki, sushi, onigiri, kimchi, udon. I don't care people being cold, I'm more robot than all of them.
Hello there. I am thinking of moving to Japan in the future, so I would like to ask you some questions. As you said earlier, that language can be a barrier in your day to day life, so that can be improved by learning and practice obviously. And I can do normal house chores and cook food. But I can cook only Indian food. So, are there any stores available there with Indian grocery items? Like what we eat here. And since I'm vegetarian, I can't eat any meat. So I need to know this. Also, if we were to travel in Japan, can we find suitable vegan food for us to eat and survive there for a few days? Are Japanese people racist towards outsiders like us? Please I'm begging you to answer my questions. I want to have advice from someone who has lived there and experienced the things there.🙏 Please give me a reply🙏
@@violet51 i know there are veggie restaurants in Taiwan and many indians too. Even Indian restaurants. Racist people can be anywhere, a guy from Tokyo may be racist towards Hiroshima. He can hate his own uncle too. So don't care about that. You don't need signatures from a racist for your visa. Embassy allows you to stay so find your friends. See, a Japanese guy killed Shinzo Abe, even none of them were foreigners to each other. An Indian killed Gandhi. So why are you afraid to be a foreigner?
No offense but the kind of rant you did regarding owning a personal vehicle feels wrong, there's a reason why most of the people in Japan use public transport and the public transport itself is so efficient that you do not feel the need of a car. Hence less cars on road, better air quality less pollution, less traffic. Which is way better than what we have here in India. Yes it's not very convenient if you have to go on a road trip let's say or you need to go somewhere urgently, for that you can definitely book a car. It's not like you have to book everyday so it's fine.

Conclusion- Must know the Japanese language, No veg food available, Outdoor food cooked in beef oil/other animal fats. No permanent citizenship, Housing is bad, Chores have to be done by you. No maid, servant available or very expensive. I think Isse acha to Europe, America, Dubai chale jao.
Why no PR. If you know Japanese and you have good salary it is easy to get Japanese PR. In Europe too nobody will give you citizenship without minimum B1. No citizendhip in gulf
Isse achha India me hi rehlo. India has many high paying jobs. Learn right skills get one in India. One can visit any number of countries if you have time money and health.
Hey bro, I love your videos. Just bumped into your channel somehow while I was searching for MEXT related videos. Hope you're doing well there. Just wanted to ask one question could you please make one MEXT video for MBA.
Hey bro, i wanted to ask the same question can we do Mba in finance under Mext... And what are some good universities in Japan to apply for... I mean if you get the answer, do share the information with me 🙏🙏
@Aditya Singh Rathore - I'd like to ask though.. what if you are being asked to live in Tokyo with a salary package of 13 Mills pre tax, is that a good figure? especially if you're earning on a similar level in India?
Brother, can you guide how can I get a job in 7-11 or any other convenient store in Japan ?I have completed N2 in Both JLPT and NAT N2.I have experience of 3 years internship in Japan..But I want to get a job in 7-11 store .. Please guide..How to apply from India.😊
I have an offer with 60LPA JPY ctc. Basic pay is 300K JPY per month. Is it a good offer. I am single and willing to go to Tokyo in December. Please suggest. And comparing to this Japanese offer, what pay offer in India would count good considering the living cost of tokyo and all. Thanks.
Go to Japan bro...the experience of living and working in a foreign country is so endearing. Its a developed country and you will like it a lot and you can always come back.
Can I study MBA or Business Management in Japan ?? My father is a business man he wants me to study in Japan and after that take the responsibility of his showroom.
Well I totally agree with him.. I have visited to Japan couple of times for business meetings and that too the the higher management in some of big companies in Tokyo like Nissan, Sony and many other MNC. Not even higher management speaks English. And it’s very tough to get get along. Food is pathetic and don’t ask the situation in Metro. Everything is confusing and in Japanese. And Taxis are not expensive but super expensive. 1km will cost you 400-500 yens
good info. thanks. But you should have mentioned average salary of your field, or better feild , when you cmapre Driver licensinb cost is ~2 lak YEN etc, so viewers can comapre
Bro i am from iit dehli and got ppo from sony (japan). Now 3 months are still left placement is not over yet it. Would it a good option. Getting around 2200-2400 dollars. in indian currently around 1.6 lakh
If it's only about language and expenses then i guess it's not a big problem for me. Sure, it would be a challenge but what's the fun in life without a challenge right?
Why ❤ India is giving us good opportunity to work enjoy and play. India has opportunity everyone we are one of the biggest markets for Japan. We are a growing IT superpower. We are growing faster in every aspect. This is India's Era. 🇮🇳 I invite Japanese to visit India experience our culture.
These aren't really hurdles. These things which all depend on ones personal choices and moods . I don't mind non veg . If I m earning good than no problems in paying taxes for all the amenities .
I am in US for almost 14 years in stretch now...I can say, living in India is not bad....you have decent opportunities and you are not far away from your family, friends and relatives...you get to be among them is best for long term. However money for general people is less in India and that is the reason people get attracted to other countries.
You forgot the main thing Social life is fucked up in japan, I just cannot fathom imagining myself all alone every now and then...its a country with introvertism at its peak man ⛩️
