@@GhostOfJohnLennon, that's the one I was waiting for! I was hoping to hear him talk about the song ...as in, a bit more than him not playing it often.
Thank you for playing over the hedge. We kids got the message and thank you. I was in my early twenties in college when it came out and still own the DVD.
Wow, I haven’t heard Emaline in such a long time. I forgot how much I used to listen to it and how much it has meant to me. Ben if you read this, I gotta tell you. Your songs are so easily relatable. There aren’t a lot of artists that have the ability to create such deeply visceral feelings in such grounded lyrics. You really have a gift of this! I honestly wish I knew the secret! Thank you for all the wonderful music!

Yeah I was a young kid when I first heard heist in the movie he mentioned. That was my favorite movie mostly because he did the music. That’s how I discovered him. 12 years later and here I am, grown up, and a fan of his songs
I used to watch Over the Hedge a ton when I was a kid and it first came out, and randomly a few days ago heist popped into my head and decided to stay there so now I'm gonna try to learn it! Great music. If you see this I have a question I've always wondered: when you are writing music typically do the words come first or the music?
Ben, can’t tell you how much we look forward to your Sat night concerts each week & how much they’ve helped us get through this very hard time. Speaking of time, would love it if you played TIME. And if you’ll consider a cover, it’d be great to hear Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.
I drunk purchased a cheap keyboard from Amazon a few nights ago while watching one of these livestreams. I do not regret it at all. I've always wanted to learn though never had the motivation but these videos inspired me. I feel silly learning from his "kiddy lessons" but they're really helpful!
Another great show, Ben! Your piano lessons are wonderful, even for us big kids! I am still hoping to hear you play ANNIE WAITS. And I love the backgrond stories. You are my most favorite, Ben! ❤
Hi Ben! Love your music! My whole family watches ur show every sat. As a kid I Ioved Joe Jackson's Steppin' Out, and it always reminds me of your style. Do think you can play that song for the next video? I've always wanted to hear you play it. Thanks, all the best. also jesus land, effington, michael praytor.
For any stray scrollers out there - search for the "Mad Scrollers" FB group to keep the scroll alive - that's where the fan video (shown in #13) was born!
Next Saturday, I want to get a mashup of the Underground Theme from the original Super Mario Bros. with One Angry Dwarf (the bridge matches up quite well with the video game music)
