@@ChelseaKMusee not really. Humans are social beings and without socialising, anyone can feel lonely and depressed no matter how much of an introvert they are.
things i need to do : sleep more sleep on time sleep for 8 hours get rid of dark circles put more moisturizer on exercise more never go outside avoid toxic people and situations
People often swear that I'm younger than them when I'm actually older than they are. This problem is annoying and not at all fun in real life, but it does mean the following tricks are helping: 1. Be born with good genes 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Avoid/eliminate sugar and junk food 4. Eliminate alcohol 5. Don't smoke 6. Practice de-stressing techniques such as deep breathing, daily meditation, yoga, and whatever works for you. 7. Exercise - weight lifting > cardio but do a variety 8. Qigong and/or yoga 9. Use rosehip oil as moisturizer 10. Use retinol oil or serum at night 11. Use vitamin C serum morning and afternoon under your moisturizer 12. Use sunscreen religiously during all seasons 13. Eat healthy - lots of green veggies like spinach, and colored like carrots, mushrooms, and beets 14. Laugh often and find joy in life Realize there's a lot more to life than your looks ;) Enjoy!
people learn about genetics and bad skin behavior and bad behavior in general. still some think and expect us to change ourselves. instead don't hang out with people who don't like how you look or behave lol. its really that easy. someone will always tell you what they think is good for you. take a polite pass.
The media teaches young girls that they should always look young and perfect. The bottom line is that we all age over time, and there is nothing wrong with that. It's fine to do what you can to slow down the process, or even reverse it. But don't spend your time worrying about how old you look. In the end, the only thing that will really matter is the people we love and the experiences we've had. We won't care about the number of years we've been alive so much as the quality of those years. We won't count wrinkles, but rather loved ones in our lives.
TIMESTAMPS: You use facial scrubs too often 1:25 You use anti-wrinkle cream and think it’s enough 2:38 After washing your face, you dry it with a towel 3:44 You sleep with your hair down 5:03 You don’t pay attention to your pillow and pillowcase 5:50 You ignore clay masks 6:57 You don’t eat foods that keep your skin healthy 7:59 You hide your problems instead of solving them 9:13
I'm a 32 year old male and look 23. I've began and maintained all these habits, but most important 1.Always had at least 8 hours of sleep 2.ALWAYS moisturize My skin 3.Drink lots and lots of water and 4.Eat healthy like Friuts, vegetables made with My blender, and eat tuna, salmon, nuts, Almond Milk.ground flax seeds etc.
Riana And Her Gucci Belt From which double-blind randomized study did you get that gem? Sun exposure and smoking are the biggest culprits, then a after that, genetics.
My graduate degree and profession are dermatology. While a balanced diet is important, sun exposure, smoking, and genetics are the major players in epidermal and dermal aging.
Lynne Battaglia-Triggs Riana is correct, it’s actually common knowledge. I thought you were a dermatologist... I’m surprised you didn’t even know that. 🤔
@@lynnebattaglia-triggs1042 of course sun exposure and smoking and genetics are main factor but so is sugar as it breaks down the collagen. Hunny if you are a derm it’s okay to make mistakes but then stand by it and don’t say it’s not a main cause
exercise will also help. Not just for loosing weight but it can help bring a glow back to your skin. I'm in my mid 30s and look better than i did when i was 25
The best way to look your skin young and healthy don't smoke and drink alcohol and sleep early. Because drinking and smoking makes your skin dry and unhealthy.
I look young for my age (nearly 40) I think it's about looking after yourself as opposed to stopping aging. U can age beautiful rather then not age. The latter is impossible x
Don't isolate yourself. There are people who have been through what you might be facing right now and they overcame it. Don't push people away, surround yourself with people who are spiritually mature and get the help that you need. Isolation when you are in pain and don't know if there's a way out is dangerous and that's why we have suicide cases. Listen, there's nothing that you can be facing that God is not able to solve for with God nothing is impossible. Hold on. Jesus loves you.
I' m always complimented on my skin, I am 46 and ppl often think I look like i' m in my 30' s, someone once asked me what' s my secret? Lol... my dad said I should say Olay! Lol Though I do use those creams I think the biggest thing is genetics, my mom is in her 60' s and has great skin, though if you want some tips here are some that I don' t do and do; I don' t smoke, don' t do drugs and i' m not a big drinker, I drink lots of water at least 2 liters of water or more, I use moisturizer every morning and primer before I put my make up on and I wash my make up off before bed! No big tricks here just lucky I guess .
Thanks for the tips! I avoid the things you've mentioned above and also the facts in this video. I still don't get what's is wrong with me but I just turned 19 and some people at my elder sister's age call me Aunty.🥲 I had to face that whenever I go out.
I must agree about hair touching our skin while we sleeping... Two weeks ago I was in hospital for surgery. When I come there I had acne, not too much, but when my mom made a ponytail while I was in hospital I saw changes. I came back without acne. So yeah I will definitely follow that advise 😊👌
@@BRIGHTSIDEOFFICIAL Yes I am good now, I had an appendix attack so I needed to remove appendix. Thank you so much for caring, you are very good person. Love ya 😊❤
@Justin Selena Indeed, just watch out on one thing. Don't make a ponytail everyday. You can damage your skin on head and your hair too. Take a good care of your hair. 😘
I'm watching this laying down with my my hair down..and I'm hugging a big pillow that I use to support my face and...I don't even know if my face towel is already replace with a new ones...and at the end of my hair I there goes my elastic band loose..HEHEHEHEHE I FELT SO GUILTY..SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH BTW😂😅
5:28 YAY!!!👏 I've been sleeping w/ my hair either in 3 or 5 twists & I tie my hair up w/ a silk scarf. I use a silk pillow case too✊ Been doing this since I was a kid 😄
I'm a homebody so I rarely get any sun. People always think I'm 18, I'm about to be 25... I'm living proof that staying away from the sun slows down aging.
25 is nothing n you are happy abt that ,try looking that way in 40 's .here we are talking mostly abt stop aging even we are aging,RT,so at 25 ,we can just do ,feel like princess and yes at 18 ,is just a no. Lets say, we don't even care abt beauty care, beauty comes naturally, talk abt Wen u r 40's or 50's .so remember to keep urself the same at 40 ,good luck
7 violett staying away from the sun keeps you young ? Nah sweetly in that case it’s all about DNA because I’m a black woman and black people can only survive in the heat and it keeps us young tf
Based on my experience, to have radiant and beautiful skins:- 1) No stress 2) Enough sleep 3) Drink plenty of water These 3 steps look simple but it's not easy to achieve really especially on item no. 1. It's more important than all the skin care available out there! I've never gotten compliment on my skin for using any particular skin care but I do get compliment on my skin when I achieve the above 3 factors.
I agree with food habits. I was on a clean diet for a month where I ate fresh fruits, dry fruits, veggie salad, yoghurt, veg-fruit juice, fish and avoided any carbs. My skin glowed and body became slimmer. Of course I got 7 fruits for 7 days, different nuts and dry fruits in alternate days and 7 different salad and fish too. I did have dairy products like skimmed milk, clarified butter and greek yoghurt that helped me a lot.
@@BRIGHTSIDEOFFICIAL Nope. In fact if someone follows keto diet on meat it will help them shed weight and get glowing skin. Sounds bizzare? Well, you won't know unless you try. I usually eat a lot of meat so I went down to vegetarian diet for a month. I now eat meat too such as fish and chicken.
I use African Black soap & a ffacial scrubber, moisturize with raw Shea Butter & I pat my face dry with a clean paper towel every morning. I also sleep with my hair in a satin cap.
I use a lot of Clinic products even though I'm 68. They have a great facial scrub, serum, and altogether a good regiment for cleaning, astringent, hydration. I do have oily skin and even at my age a couple of zits! But your suggestions were great and I'll follow many of them. When I was younger I could get away with even going to bed with my makeup on, Well, I'm probably paying for it now. I have to say having oily skin helped in the long run with few wrinkles. But I have vertical lines between upper lip and nose. I cream it and moisturize it but if you know a solution please write or video it!
Trying to take care of yourself is great but don't have unrealistic expectations. If you're exposed to the celebrity circus, you'd want to look as young as your favorite celebrity or anyone who looks way younger than they are. That's a huge mistake most of us make. These people do not look exactly the way they do on magazine covers, photo shoots and award shows. You'd look just as gorgeous if you had as many people to get you ready for a day out so do not compare yourself with others. Ageing is inevitable and while it's amazing that we can delay it, it's also important to raise kids, especially girls, into not being obsessed with trying to look younger than they are. Your exterior is not what entirely defines you nor it should.
This is what I do in a week / days 1 : drinks a lots water 2 : wash my face twice a day or 4time a day cuz I get sweat on my face 3 : 3 skincare face packs in a week : 1 : turmeric , yogurt and honey ,2: exfoliating my face with : grounded coffee powder , honey and coconut oil , milk / or multani mitti 4 : I use : aloe vera gel , nivea face cream and body lotion 🥰
I have pretty good facial skin only thing I wanna try from this video is the rose clay mask and pat drying w an organic towel (i'mna incorporate those ideas to my regimen). Thanks for that info and yes, I agree about changing the pillow cases 1nce a week.
me being 14 long relatives : What class r u in ? Me : Grade 9 Long relatives : OHH i thought u were in grade 11 my bad Me : Haha everyone says that And when they next year to come again , they say the same thing
Letting your face/body air dry actually dries it out even more. Pat it dry and if you have dry skin put cream on it right away. I’m in my 70s but have been told many times that I look 15+ years younger. One thing I have always worked on from my 20s on, is prevention, as brought in the video. I always have had very dry skin, so I do use a lot of cream. Cream not lotion, but I don’t spend a lot of money on expensive stuff. I do exfoliate twice a week, I have dry skin but it’s not sensitive
I've been putting ice on my face since I was nine but I only did it when I was hot or sick sometimes I just do it when I feel like it not knowing it was a beauty treatment
Great video it's help us a lot....some healthy changed in your life makes good things like lots of water eat healthy food sleep well and stress free life
use a silk pillow case as it allows sweat to dry quicker and allows your hair to "glide" across the pillow case preventing your hair from being pulled when shifting your head.
Usually your skin is oily because its actually dry, ur skin rries to correct this by producing more oil.. if u have oily skin, try a facial oil to combat it
I use a little of my facial mask every day mixed with my cleanser and it works for me. I was just using it that way to save time hopefully 🤣and I never wore makeup. I feel like that ages ppl. But it's cute and fun on others
A key for good youthful skin ;Drink a lots of water lemon and cucumber water 2.relax on your day off with meditation 🙏🏽 3.try not to use too much make up foundation on your face ..instead replace it with cocoa Shea butter after you wash your face with regular or for sensitive skin white dove soap4.If you have long hair tie your hair up with a silk scarf to prevent your hair from brushing on the side of your face when you sleep on your pillow at night.
A secret of my grandma looking 10 years younger than her actual age: -Drinking a lot of water -Not washing the face with soap -Not drinking soda, powdered juice. I envy her look and wanted to look young just like her when I turn 70 😊 Even the people cant actually believe she's a senior citizen lol mostly people would ask for her ID
Best way to look young you just behave of your age do not act like older. example if are 13 stay like 13 years not 18 and drink more water and keep smiling.
I just turned 25 and I’ve always been told I look wayyyyy younger but my skin has changed dramatically in a year or 2 and it now looks so tired and rough 😔I don’t know what to do
