Hey, thank you so much! That’s actually one of my video ideas that I have written down haha. Some of the points I have are to never undermine the au pair’s authority, especially in front of the kids. Make the au pair aware that you’re on their side and you won’t instinctively take your children’s side. Be considerate towards your au pair, how would you like to have to live with your boss? And definitely from the moment of the Skype call be honest with them, don’t lead them to believe that things are one way and then when they get there it’s not even remotely close.
