I knew from the beginning that your videos are indeed very good, with explanations on point. Thank you so much; I hope to watch more of your videos in the future.
Lots of "tutorials" show how, but not as much why. For me, I'm a why... 'Cos when you know the why, the how becomes so much more than just getting it done. Thank you!
Love this, it really helps me to grasp some of the concepts that have been tearing my brain to shreds lately. I’d love to see your take on text animators. You have a brilliant teaching style. Another instant sub here!🎉🎉👏👏👏
I just found your channel and I love the way you explain. I like to understand what is happening between the effects and properties. I'm down for the layer style if you get a chance to teach how you make those. Thank you
why nobody talks about that annoying issue when its a 90 degree angle or sharp angle and the trim path can get some artifact. only works properly when its a rounded edge.
1:16 The best solution is to give plus control points for the shape which has less. Also important that the new points must be there there is the missing one from the other key shape. It's not the best either but way closer than do it totally new shape by hand, especially in After which have terrible path tools, especially compared to Illustrator.
Amazing content, learned so much but Tip: add at least a keylight so you can have a better lighting on your face and the background doesnt get highlighted more than you
amazing, please... how do you do the animation for trim or taper explain... break down the behind this tool... how do you match these degrees 0 to 100 circling around, I am asking for this very animation supposed to help us understand trim or ..., I am asking for that. please
I spent an entire afternoon to rig a trim path system that woul allow to shorten a stroke wihile keeping the same number of dashes and scaling the spacing between them.. but in the end it wouldn't work so i just animated by hand the position and rotation keyframes (at 4:58 you can see that the start line doesn't match the 0)
@@OllySpin Oh, so thank you for the time you spent on that. I tried 2 hours for that but couldn't find a pro solution, so as you said, should be done by hand for now. thanks
